Gateway Church is a multi-campus church in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This page is for the Dallas Campus led by Pastor Steve Thompson.
At Gateway, we’re all about people. We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Gateway grow in their relationship with the Lord. So whether you and your family are new to church, new to the Dallas area, or simply new to Gateway, we are happy to welcome you into our church family!
Mission: Our mission is to help each person at Gateway believe in Jesus, belong to family, become a follower, and build God’s kingdom.
God has created us to have relationship with not only the people around us, but with Him(Leviticus 26:12 (NIV)!
He wants to walk along side us, have daily conversations with and He simply just wants us to be His friend! How incredible is it that the God of the universe wants a be our friend? 🤯
Our Gateway Dallas Family is partnering with the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and becoming a weekly food distribution site for the community! How cool is that?!
NTFB will supply nutritious food, including fresh produce, dry/canned goods, kid’s snacks and one container of milk, through a contact-free drive-through food distribution at the Gateway Dallas campus for families and individuals facing food insecurity. We will also have an on-site prayer area for those wishing to pray with someone after they’ve received their supplies.
Food distribution will occur every Thursday from 10am-12pm, in our north parking lot beginning Thursday, June 18, and will continue each week for as long as there is a need.
If you or someone you know is in need of food during this time, please send them to the Dallas Campus during distribution.
They don’t need to sign up.
No Driver’s License.
Just show up!

Pastor Tim Ross' message was a must-hear! If you haven't already, watch today!
The Bible tells us in Romans 12:15, “... weep with those who weep.” Today there are many people weeping in our country while we continue to see the abhorrent fruit of racism, prejudice, and hatred that divides our nation. To those who grieve, we say as a church, “Our hearts are broken too and we grieve with you, we see you, and we love you.”
Since the start of Gateway Church, our slogan has been “We’re all about people.” This means regardless of color, culture, or class, all people matter to us because all people matter to God. We boldly proclaim as the family of God: We are not color blind, but we are color blessed. So how can our color-blessed family, the body of Christ, respond in times like this?
Pray. Prayer is not a passive disposition but a powerful recognition that we are engaged in a spiritual battle. Pray that God would heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14), unify our hearts (Psalm 133), and that we as disciples of Christ would truly be known by the way we love one another (John 13:35).
Listen. We like to say, “Go to the other side of the bottle,” meaning educate yourself by engaging in meaningful conversations with friends, colleagues, and neighbors who are different than you. Ask them about their experience, listen to their perspective, and ask how you can be a support.
Speak. Paul confronts Peter in Galatians 2 when he stops eating with the Gentiles because he was afraid of criticism. As the Church, we too are called to speak the truth in love. When we hear divisive, derogatory, or racist language, call it out. When we witness the mistreatment of other individuals because of their color, culture, or class, confront it. Because NOW is the time. NOW is the time for the Church to rise up. NOW is the time for us to be an instrument of healing and unity. NOW is the time to truly love one another.
A reminder from Pastor Robert... Throughout your week, remember God is always with you and His love for you knows NO bounds!

If you're wondering if this has an impact, here's a testimony from one of the staff at BUMC:
"In my 19 years working at BUMC, this prayer caravan will be the most treasured memory! An opportunity to bring together faith and employment in a very powerful way. When I walked outside, I looked up to the top of parking garage and I saw signs, balloons, and people cheering while I heard the song playing, "God, come in and change the atmosphere." HE DID! God was so near. I felt so much love from the Lord and from HIS people. I felt the power of prayer, healing, and peace fall upon Baylor University Medical Center as car after car drove by with signs sharing love for healthcare workers. I heard beautiful prayers calling Jesus in to heal the patients at BUMC, protect the healthcare workers, and comfort the families of these patients. The conclusion of this beautiful moment brought me to tears." — Jenny
