Welcome to the official page for COTI Young Adults! A ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, Dallas TX. We are single, married, students, young professionals and in between! Join with us as we seek to follow Christ together.
COTI Young Adults page does not align itself with any political organization or Christian denomination outside the world-wide Anglican Communion. Its purpose is to encourage our young adults to be educated and aware about current events and/or religious viewpoints that relate to Christianity. If you have an opinion on any articles, notes, or any events, we encourage you to post about it. It is prohibited to use any hate speech, slander, or derogatory language.
Mission: To help and encourage young adults daily to surrender their lives to a personal relationship with Jesus, our Lord; and as a result, they are willingly and able to obey God's commands and receive internal peace forever.
Join us for a fun night of music and a lively theological talk featuring Carrie Headington and her topic "Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up? Who Exactly Was Jesus? Sage, Moral Teacher, Liar...God?," followed by some Q&A.

Class on Episcopalian catchsim continues! Join us now. This week: what the heck is the Church anyway? Get inspired.
Join us again this week as we make our way through the Catechism. This week we look at what is the Church? Now, if you remember your church history, you will remember that the various denominations of our day exist because we all have different interpretations of Scripture. So, what is God’s plan in the midst of all this division? How can we continue to affirm “one, holy catholic and apostolic church” as the creeds say? And what does it mean for us to be members of Christ's body?
Don’t forget to sign up to pickup Communion on Sunday! Nourishing and strengthening to the soul as well as the body. \#theology

Throughout the Book of Hebrews, the author exhorts us to pay attention and to believe the salvation that Christ has accomplished for us. But what if the word "believe" is more than just intellectual or cerebral assent? What does true belief vs unbelief look like? And what exactly is this salvation that Jesus has accomplished for us?

Last week we looked at what made Moses a great prophet, priest and king in Israel. Today, as we study Hebrews 2:17-3:19, we learn what makes Jesus superior to Moses. He is apostle and high priest. But what does it all matter anyway?

Happening right now! 10 minutes in, and you don't want to miss it! Hebrews Bible Study Week 5. And why Jesus is greater than Moses!
Last week, we looked at why Hebrews focuses much on angels. Because Jesus, in our flesh and blood, defeats the devil on our behalf (who is a fallen angel)! Thus, we too can be freed from the fear of death because of his victory. This week we look at how Jesus is better than Moses. But who exactly was Moses?
