Tiferet Israel offers the Dallas Jewish community an experience rooted in and guided by Jewish Tradition, Torah and Mitzvot. We believe enriching one’s Judisam as well as embracing fellow Jews are two essential foundations of our religion. We welcome all who are looking for a meaningful Jewish experience, independent of one’s background. Anyone wishing to worship, learn, and grow in one’s Judiasm will find Tiferet to be a special place. Our goals are to provide knowledge for our rich heritage, create a strong sense of community and instill a desire to help make the world we live in a better place. Our building is a beautiful place for simchas,. Our facilities include a 400 seat sanctuary which provides unique seating allowing men and women to sit separately or together. In addition, we offer a 100 seat chapel, a dairy and a meat kitchen, bridal room, banquet hall with a stage and additional reception area to accommodate life cycle events. Our mikvah is available for ritual and spiritual events including conversions, weddings and nidah. Founded in 1890, Tiferet Israel Congregation is the oldest and largest Traditional synagogue in Dallas. Our beautiful sanctuary is a synthesis of traditional and modern synagogue architecture with an atmosphere of sanctity and serenity. Our service offers a combination of Hebrew and English, enabling all worshipers to participate in meaningful prayer and meditation.

Mega Challah Bake for Noam

Join Tiferet Israel in supporting this community project!

Noam is a sweet boy who is in second grade Lonestar Academy in Plano. Noam is a curious, fun loving child, who enjoys learning and playing, just like other boys his age. Noam was born with Cerebral Palsy and is not able to sit up on his own, let alone walk or feed himself. However, he qualifies for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), a surgery that can change his quality of life. All Noam wants is to have this surgery so he can be a little more like the other boys and girls and be more independent in his self care as he gets older. Not covered by insurance, this surgery and recovery treatment will cost Noam’s family $150,000. Please join the women in our Dallas Jewish Community to do the mitzvah of making challah and giving tzedakah to help one of our future Jewish Community leaders.
