[04/08/20]   God, You are the Way Maker and Miracle Worker. Lord, You’ve done it in the past and we thank You that You’ll do it again. You are on the throne, fighting our battles and pushing back the forces of darkness. we declare: You are my Lord, God, and Savior. Make us and mold us into who you want each one of us to be. We thank You that You are opening the right doors and closing the wrong ones. You are bringing the right people across our path, weeding out those that shouldn’t be there. Lord, we thank You that You are giving us the peace that surpasses understanding. And all the forces that are trying to stop us are broken in Jesus’ name. We’re no longer going to look at how big the problem is but we’re going to be looking at how big you are. You’ve done great things in the past and we thank you, because we know the best is still yet to come. We put our trust and confidence in You. In Jesus Name. Amen

[04/08/20]   Devotional Encouragement: Be Generous
Power Verses: Proverbs 11:25, NIV

Reflect and Respond: Do you need refreshing today? So many people go around overwhelmed, tired, worn down, and barely get by. He wants us to be refreshed. Here is the key, be generous and refresh others. Step out and refresh others; live a life of generosity. As you do, you will be refreshed in return and experience His blessing in every area of your life!

Prayer: Father, I choose to put my trust in You. I press forward in faith so I can overcome fear. I believe You have my best interest at heart and know that You are leading me in the paths of righteousness all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen.

[04/07/20]   Devotional Encouragement: Christians by Our Love
Power Verses: Hebrews 13:2 (NIV)

Reflect and Respond: Has God given you the opportunity to show His love to a stranger? What happened? We'd love to hear your story. Share your experience in the comments.

Why do you think so many of us struggle with reaching out to people we don't know? What practical ideas do you have for being more intentional about showing love to others — especially those that we would consider "strangers"?

Prayer: Father God, forgive me for how I sometimes forget to love others, especially strangers, in simple ways that honor You. Help me recognize opportunities to share the love You have given me with someone else who needs to feel Your love. Allow me to be Your hands and Your feet. In Jesus' Name, Amen

[04/06/20]   Devotional Encouragement: Avoid The Trap of Fear
Power Verses: Proverbs 29:25, NIV

Reflect and Respond: Fear is one of the enemy's favorite tools to keep us from moving forward. The moment you make a decision to step out in faith, the enemy will immediately bring fear to stop you. Today, don't allow fear to trap you and hold you back. Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life.

Prayer: Father, I choose to put my trust in You. I press forward in faith so I can overcome fear. I believe You have my best interest at heart and know that You are leading me in the paths of righteousness all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen

[04/03/20]   Devotional Encouragement: Be A Bounce-Back Person
Power Verses:1 Peter 1:6-7, NLTC

Reflect and Respond: Life is full of things that try to push us down. We all face disappointments and setbacks. When we face setbacks, it's easy to get discouraged or lose our enthusiasm. Too often we are tempted to just settle where we are. But if we're going to see God's best, we have to have a bounce-back mentality. That means when you get knocked down, you don't stay down. You get back up again. It means when disappointments come, you shake them off knowing that what the enemy meant for your harm God is going to turn around and use for your good.

Prayer: Father in heaven, thank You for Your grace, mercy, and favor. I ask for rain in the time of rain, I ask for increase in Your favor and blessing so I can be a blessing to those around me today and always. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

[04/02/20]   We all have times when we’re praying, but our prayers aren’t being answered. We’re being our best, but not getting good breaks, the problem isn’t turning around. It seems as though God is on vacation. But the silence is not a sign that God is not working. He may not be changing the circumstances, but He is changing us. God uses the seasons of silence to prepare us, to develop our character. You’re gaining experience, maturity, and strength that you’ll need for where God is taking you. Don’t fight the silence. Keep being faithful, for your appointed time is on the way!

[04/02/20]   Devotional Encouragement: Walk in Humility
Power Verses: Philippians 2:8, NIV

Reflect: Did you know that even Jesus had to humble Himself. It takes humility to walk in obedience. Without humility, Jesus could have thought, I’m the Son of God. I don’t have to put up with the way people treat Me. I’m not going to the cross. It was humility that caused Him to not retaliate against those who did Him wrong. When you humble yourself and do hard things that you know God is asking you to do—forgive the person who did you wrong, honor your spouse’s request, take advice from somebody who doesn’t have your experience—your obedience will bring a blessing. As Jesus did, do what God is asking you to do.

Prayer: Father, thank You that Jesus was willing to come to earth as a man and then humble Himself even further by becoming obedient to the point of death. Help me to humble myself whenever pride rises up to keep me from being obedient. I want to walk in humility. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[04/01/20]   We pray for people in tough times. So many are upset and worried, but our trust is in You today, Lord. You are close to the brokenhearted. We pray people feel your peace who haven’t felt it before. Lord, we thank You that You are with us. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. We thank You that we are coming through this. We dwell under Your shelter. No plague will come near our dwelling. We stand in agreement, we thank You for Your protection over our family, ministry, career, and our health. Lord, we thank You that You are watching after us. We declare healing and wholeness, strength and peace, favor and victory over all Your people. We pray for the finances of all Your people. We thank You that, You are our source. Our trust is in You. Lord, our trust, confidence, hope is in You. We thank You for all You’ve done in the past, but the best is still yet to come. This too shall pass. We are victors. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

[04/01/20]   Devotional Encouragement: Dear God, Where Are You?
Power Verses: Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

Reflect and Respond: Look back at a situation where you felt God didn't answer your prayers. Can you see His power in not allowing your prayer to be answered?

Write out your prayers today. Focus on trusting who God is and not why He is choosing not to answer or delaying His response. Remind yourself, "God's power is shown as much in preventing things as it is in making them happen."

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for knowing what I need and what I don't — even when I don't agree. Help me see Your "yes" and "no" as protection and guidance. Today, I choose to trust You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
