Operating as usual

[06/09/21]   These things said he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and no man shut, and he that shuts and no man open. I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.(Revelation 3:7-8)

[06/03/21]   "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation."(Habakkuk 3:17)

[05/26/21]   "If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place."(2 Chronicles 13-15)

[05/11/21]   And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him. For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.(Hebrew 12:5-8)

[02/07/21]   Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. (Rom12: 10-16)

[01/25/21]   John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. ( Rev.1: 4-6)

[10/17/20]   A prayer is a form of worship that magnifies God's name. In 1 kings 8:22-61 Solomon initiates a prayer among the people of Israel to bless the newly built temple. He begins by proclaiming God's authority and faithfulness and continues to pray that God would hear in heaven and answer their pleas.
This petition is not only for God to meet their needs, but ultimately that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God: there is no other.

[08/03/20]   20They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight. 21Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. 22As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout so is a fair woman which is without discretion. 23The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath. 24There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. 25The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. 26He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it. ( Proverbs 11:23 Context )

Jesus calling you

[05/17/20]   My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. 5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth. 6They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah. 7My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. 8Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. 9I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. 10For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.(PSALMS 57:5-10)

[05/03/20]   Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.” ( Psalms 57:1 )

[05/03/20]   “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” ( Jeremiah 29:13 )

[04/09/20]   But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house

[09/10/15]   This is a letter from Campus Crusade for Christ
Dear Jesus Calling You, We truly appreciate your generous donation.

Please accept my heartfelt appreciation for your gift which was a blessing to our staff.

We are indeed grateful to the Lord and to you for your concern and prayerful financial support to our ministry. The Lord has promised His reward to you. We are glad to share one incident on how God is using our tools and staff to bring transformation in the lives of individuals:

Helen (name changed) grew up in a good Christian background. But the world around influenced her badly. Most of her friends are atheists who questioned the existence of God. Gradually she was influenced by her friends and she had doubts about God. In this desperate condition, she attended one of our camps where she heard about the life-transforming power of Jesus. She trusted Christ to change her life-style. The two days that she spent in the camp gave a new beginning in her life. Her questions and doubts about God were cleared.
Now she is experiencing peace of God and her longing has been satisfied deeply in Christ. She is very much passionate to reach her friends for the Lord.

Thanking you

[09/10/15]   Please pray for India Campus Crusade for Christ. The purpose of this organization is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others; and helping the Body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship.
Campus Crusade for Christ has been a great blessing to many college students who have come to know the Lord during their college years; they have proclaimed their faith in Jesus and have led many others to Christ. This organization is causing a ripple effect among the youngsters in India. It is very important to train and guide the young generation so that they would stand strong and work for the Lord. Campus Crusade for Christ organizes many camps in different parts of India where college students from various denominations and religious background are invited and the platform is used to share the gospel and worship the Lord. Let us support them in prayer.

[09/10/15]   This is a copy of the letter received from Pastor Sabu K.G, (New India Church of God, Mangalore) to Jesus Calling You.

Dear believers in Christ,
We really appreciate and are thankful for the generous gift that you provided for the ministry work in Karnataka. The money that you provided has helped 19 different pastors across the various remote areas of Karnataka. Thank you very much for being a strong prayer and financial partner for the Lord's work in Karnataka. Please continue to pray for us as we face several challenges in preaching the gospel to the unbelievers in Karnataka. Your financial support has been a great blessing to us and we thank and praise God for each one of you. May the Lord bless this organization and may it be a great help in times of need to many others.
With prayers and regards
Pastor Sabu K.G

[07/25/15]   Manipal needs your prayer

According to national crime records bureau su***de is among the top three reasons for death between 16 to 35 years. Manipal is not behind in su***de statistics. A total of 70 cases of suicidal hangings alone were reported during the time span of January 1997 to December 2006. In another study it was observed that 82 cases were reported in a span of 12 months in Manipal.

There are obvious signs of influence this place has on its inhabitant students. It is mainly the abuse of freedom which takes different forms namely taking to cigarette smoking, alcohol, over expenditure, and the more infamous ones like casual s*x and w**d. There are probably more we haven't mentioned.

This is a glimpse of other face of Manipal. The land of Manipal is crying for Christ. as our Lord has said, the field is ready for harvest but the laborers are few.

We ask you to pray with us if you have a heart fro this perishing souls who are griped in the Christ less life of Manipal.

Intercollegiate Prayer Fellowship (ICPF) has been a blessing to many students in Manipal. They were allowed to gather in campus for their church activities till the end of 2007. Since then they face difficulty to find a place for Sunday worship and other regular meetings.

Rented halls, houses, classrooms and flats became their gathering place, but the heavy charges which they have to pay as rent makes it a necessity for them to have a permanent ICPF prayer and counseling center.

They earnestly expect our prayerful participation by contributing for the needs of ICPF Manipal.

[06/17/15]   Please pray for the meetings and gospel work in Mangalore under the leadership of Pastor Sabu K.G under New India Church of God. He has been ministering in Mangalore for more than twenty years. He has ministry work in the following places Mardala, Nellyady, Ichilampady, Surathkal, Baikampady,Mudubidri ,Thokottu, Ujire and also many new works are going on in different areas of the city and different pastors are working under his guidance. Many churches need financial and prayer support for the pastors and their families. They are also in need of church buildings to gather for worship in many places.

And also pray for the ministry work in different parts of Karnataka including, Devegowda Nagar, (Hassan), Belur church (Hassan) - Pastor Shiv Kumar and family are ministering . Both of these are rented halls and they need a church building for gathering. The families are not well to do and need financial support for their ministry work. The believers are from a poor and non christian Kannada background who came to know the Lord and are standing strong in their faith towards the Lord and the church. They are actively involved and participating in the Lord's work in spreading the gospel and helping in the mission field.

Please pray for the ministry work led by Pastor Ravi Kumar in Hanumanthapura. Below is the picture of his church which is his house as well. They need a proper church hall and financial support too. All the above mentioned places are really tough to reach to as majority of the people are from non-christian background.

[05/19/15]   Who is going to light the candle amidst the dark lives of people ?

In Kerala, more than 80,00 people attempt to commit su***de, and 12,000 die every year. Even though Kerala has the highest Christian population and the most number of churches, the problems of su***de, depression, mental illness etc. are on the rise.

Agape ministry has several ministry works equipped to help people to overcome various emotional battles. Agape mental health center is like a New Samaritan inn that breaks new grounds in mental health. This ministry follows a spiritual as well as a scientific approach to treat patients. Their wholesome approach has two dimensions. One with a focus on body, mind, spirit and cultural context and other includes preventive, curative and rehabilitation.

Agape conducts seminars and workshops on various topics. It has a counselling center established in Pathanamthitta since 1993.
The mission of Agape is to witness Christ's love to emotionally needy and have a significant contribution in the mental health mission in Kerala. They need a chain of counselling centers in all districts of Kerala state, 24 hrs helpline and many more needs.

They have immediate financial needs due to construction and annual expenditures. Please pray for this ministry that it will reach as many people as possible. If the Lord puts a burden in your heart to support this ministry financially, you can do so at our website,

[05/14/15]   Please pray for Mount Moriah Brethren church Karnataka. This Assembly gathering is moved to Yelwala, Mysuru. They have a few believers gathering in a rented hall. They also have open air gospel meetings and are able to reach a lot of unbelievers and souls are being added to the church. Evg. Dayanand Suvarna and elders Santosh Rajapure and Madusudhan Gowda are being used by the Lord mightily. They would like to have their own building for the assembly and gospel work. Please pray for this matter and support this ministry

General information

A GOD WHO LOVES US Two thousand years ago, God came in to this world as a man. He lived a perfect life, free from sin. His name is Jesus. Jesus came from God so whatever he said or did revealed who God is. The words of his mouths and his actions reflected God in every aspect. Jesus performed plenty of miracles including, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, opening up the deaf ears, enabling the lame to walk and not only this he healed every kind of sickness and disease. How can we forget the miracle of multiplication of a few loaves of bread to feed many thousands. All of these characteristics of God reveal that he is a good God. This God cares for us, knows our needs and wants us to be happy and fulfilled. More importantly, this God wants us to have a Father child relationship with him. So what caused God to step in to this world as a man? Why did Jesus come in to this world? The answer is simple, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin is a big wall which separates us from God. Due to sin we can’t have a relationship with the one who created us for the very purpose. We try to fill this gap with other things. Sin also results in an eternal separation from God. But the most important thing is that the penalty of sin is death. But we have a good news, we can be free from our sins and be restored back to God. You may wonder, how is it possible? It is not possible with man, but it is possible with God because Jesus took the penalty of our sins and died on the cross for the sins of the whole mankind. The God that created us is a loving, merciful and compassionate God. He does not want any one of us to be lost in hell fire. He came in to this world to rescue the sinners, like you and me, so that we would not be lost but have eternal life. In order to receive the forgiveness of sins, the Bible tells us to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal savior and to believe on him with all your heart, mind and soul. Romans 10 :9 says , That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Dear brothers and sisters our God is longing to have a relationship with you today. If you hear him call, do not step back but move forward and accept him in your life. He is the alpha and the omega, he is the unchanging and everlasting God. When you accept him in your life you will be a new creation and you will enjoy the joy of salvation. This joy which comes in to your heart is above all other fun and pleasures of this world. Experience this new change in your life, when you hear his call, listen to him and obey him. Amen.
