Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
I am humbly asking everyone to be praying numerous times throughout the day to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician and Healer, to stop the spread of the Coronavirus and to save and heal those who have been exposed to it. It is not a request born of fear but compassion for all of those around the world including our brothers and sisters in Christ who have been exposed and are in danger or suffering. We have all experienced the loss of loved ones at some time so let’s also be praying for all those who have suffered loss through this disease, for God’s comfort for them.

If you know of other prayer warriors, prayer groups, or other church groups that would join us, please spread the word. Let’s create a ‘counter-attack’ of prayer.

James 5:16b (KJV)b… The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much

Texas Baptists, are you aware of the unBiblical positions being upheld in the SBC by its liberal-leaning leadership? If so, what are you doing to help prevent the complete disintegration of historically the largest most conservative protestant denomination, the SBC?
Don't forget the hymns of the church. This is one of my favorite.

Here is a response from Dowell Loftis when i requested to be added to churches who are searching for pastors. BTW, Consider the following when reading his response ( I am 51 years old, been in the ministry since 1990, ordained since 1991, served in many associate roles, outreach, family and student ministry, and so i am not sure where this man unless he is now the Holy Spirit gets to determine my calling and path, and i find his response is offensive to say the least )

Please read his response ( Thank you for your submission of a profile and resume to Minister Connection. While we appreciate your interest and value your commitment to serving our Lord, at this time your background and qualifications do not match the needs of the churches that have posted open positions in our system. We are unable to grant you access to our church listings for a pastor position. )
If anyone know of a church in the metroplex looking for an associate pastor, I am very interested
The Word For Today

Say ‘It ends with me’
30 DECEMBER 2018
‘Pull down your father’s altar.’
Judges 6:25 NLT

When the angel of the Lord called Gideon, he was threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress, trying to hide the grain from the Midianites (see v. 11). That’s interesting, because God was about to use him to destroy the forces of Midian and liberate Israel. But before he could do so, there were a few family dynamics to be dealt with – like the altar his father built to a false god called Baal. It had been in the family for years. So God said, ‘Pull down your father’s altar to Baal…Then build an altar to the Lord your God’ (vv. 25-26 NLT). Understand this: things like anger, addiction, abuse, and affairs may be part of your family history, but they don’t have to be part of your future. Not only will God heal your heart and hurts, He will use you to heal the hearts and hurts of your children. The generational rubbish can stop here and now. You don’t have to give your kids what your ancestors gave you. Bring it out into the open and lay it before the Lord. Revealing leads to healing. And if having a mature Christian counsellor helps, get one! ‘Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think’ (Romans 12:2 NLT). No, it won’t happen overnight. Damage done to you in the formative years of your life will take time to heal, and God will work with you day by day until He has made you whole. But let the healing begin. Rise up in faith, take control of your life, and declare: ‘It ends with me, and it ends here and now.’

Luke 24:36-53, Psalm 140-150

Our Story

We are a fellowship of transformational churches sacrificially giving ourselves to God’s redemptive purpose. Continually being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Christ, we join together to transform our communities and the world. Engaging culture, we reach people where they are for an encounter with Jesus Christ.

We are on mission with God to continue Jesus’ ministry of teaching, sharing the good news and meeting human needs through our churches, institutions and organizations. Our ministries reflect the heart of Jesus.

We share a vision of the world’s peoples coming to know Jesus Christ and becoming transformed in his image. As a fellowship of diverse churches, we advance the Kingdom in ways individual churches cannot do alone and we celebrate our unity in the larger body of Christ’s church. As local churches we are called to be the presence of Christ in the world.

We accomplish our work through individuals with diverse backgrounds who love Jesus Christ and his church. Lives, families, communities and nations are transformed as ordinary Christians take extraordinary steps of faith in obedience to God.
