This girl is on fire! We proudly introduce Asija Woodson! Asija is the daughter of Sis. Kiera Atkinson. She is a graduate of Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet located at Townview Magnet Center. While a student at Law Magnet, Asija was a legal assistant at Allen Miles and Associates Law Firm, a member of the Townview Book Club, the Aspire-Black Student Union, and the Townview Gay-Straight Alliance. She has been a member on NEB for 10 years. At NEB, Asija served as a youth usher. She plans on attending Texas Woman’s University and majoring in Social Work. While in college, Asija intends on still being an advocate for children in the community by working with nonprofit organizations. You got this, Asija Woodson!

Even a global pandemic couldn’t stop this graduate! Meet the unstoppable Bryant Simmons! Bryant is the son of Brianna Simmons and the grandson of Bro. Michael and Sis. Bridgett Lundy. He is a graduate on Lancaster High School. At Lancaster High, Bryant played football and was 2nd Team, All-District. He has been a member of NEB for 15 years. At NEB, he served as a youth usher and participated in Children’s Church. Bryant will soon be attending Juanita College of Pennsylvania. And so the adventure begins for Bryant Simmons!

A sweet ending to a new beginning! And how sweet it is for Jakhara Reddish! Jakhara is the daughter of Sis. Kiausha Reddish and Rev. James Reddish. She is the granddaughter of Sis. Juanita and J.L. Rainey, and the niece of Sis. Lilian and Bro. Lorenzo Tarkington. Jakhara is a graduate of Duncanville High School. At Duncanville High, she was an athletic trainer and in the Honor Society. Jakhara has been a member of NEB for 18 years. At NEB, she sang with the youth choir and performed with “Royalty” praise dancers. Jakhara plans to serve her country by joining the military. Onward and upward, Jakhara Reddish!

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step! Kaelin Moore is proudly stepping up! Kaelin is the son of Sis. Tarrah Williams and the grandson of the late Frank Williams and Sis. Sharon Williams. He is a graduate of Duncanville High School. At Duncanville High, Kaelin was involved in the Auto Tech Program and Graphic Design Program for the last three years. Believe in yourself and you can do unbelievable things! We believe in Brittney Jackson! Brittney is the daughter of Bro. Edward and Sis. Alicia Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Sis. Odessa Johnson. Brittney is a graduate of Terrell High School. Since she was enrolled in the dual credit program, Brittney is also graduating with an Associate Degree from Trinity Valley Community College – Terrell Campus. At Terrell High, Brittney was a member of the National Honor Society and HOSA (now known as Future Health Professionals). She also played volleyball, was an athletic trainer, and was enrolled in the Health Science Academy. Her accomplishments include the TVCC Leaders of Tomorrow Award and National Society of High School Scholars. Brittney has been a member of NEB for 16 years. At NEB, Brittney sang in the youth choir, performed with “Royalty” praise dancers, and volunteered with Feed 5000+. She also was a Children’s Church helper, attended Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and worked with the youth ministry. Brittney plans on attending the University of Texas at Arlington to major in Nursing. After receiving her degree, she wants to become a registered nurse and specialize in labor and delivery. Way to go, Brittney Jackson!

Juanita and J.L. Rainey and Alma and L.B. Gibson, and the niece of Sis. Lilian and Bro. Lorenzo Tarkington. Hailey is a graduate of Paul Quinn College. Her achievements include making the Dean’s List and graduating with Cum Laude Honors. She has been a member of NEB since birth but became an official member in 2006 when she was baptized. Hailey plans on obtaining a teaching certification and later becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker, focusing on child and family services. Job well done, Hailey Gibson!

Odessa Johnson. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. While at MSU, Caleb was a campus tutor and played for the football team. His football accomplishments include 2021 All-Lone Star Conference Male Athletic Performance Athlete of the Year, and All-Lone Star Conference (2017-2019). His academic achievements include LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll (2017-2020). Caleb has been a member of NEB for 16 years. He has performed with the Mime Ministry and attended Sunday School. Caleb is pursuing a Master’s Degree at Midwestern State University. He aspires to work as an attorney, or in the area of law enforcement. Help us celebrate and congratulate Caleb Brown!
