[05/12/19]   Proverbs 31:10, 27-30 A Woman of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

As we celebrate Mother's, we must always remember the value of a real Mom. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have given birth to a child, mother is one who gives love to their children. She makes sure her family is being taken care of to the best of her abilities. For those who have husbands, you make sure that you do everything to encourage your husband to be the best that he can be. A true Mother will love God and teach her children to love Him also. A good Mother will never belittle herself nor accept others belittling her nor her family. The love of a sincere Mother never end for her family, even if they walk out of her life. She continuously prays for them as long as it takes. You see a Woman of Nobel Character is A Mother empowered by God. She is strong and protective. She's a Queen and she's beautiful. If she gets knocked down she will get back up and when she does get up you had better watch out, because she will come back stronger than ever before. Mother's are to be loved, respected and spoken highly of. Kiss your Mom and let her know you love and appreciate her because just like life, her time on earth is limited. To God be the glory for giving us beautiful strong women of God.

Love you

[01/28/19]   1 John 4:21 states "And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also."

This verse is very powerful because "True Love" carries much power. The type of love that this verse is speaking of is an agape love. This love is packed with forgiveness, it's unconditional, it's never ending, it's compassion and so much more. What makes this love so powerful? It's because this is the love that God has for us. God loves us so much that He looked over our sins, faults, hate, disrepect, rejections, disobedience, failures, etc. and sacrificed His Son life so that we could have life to the fullest through our relationship with Him. Here we are being instructed to love our brothers and sisters (family and beyond) in this same manner. How can mankind love the way God love. It's this simple: You must live in the abundance of the Spirit of Christ and you will be able to love according to His instructions. Hate will exit and love will flow. Forgiveness will be an important part of your daily life. All who has caused hurt and pain to you will no longer take priority over you. Joy (Christ) will replace anger and sadness as He dwell in you. If you have tried loving your brothers and sisters your way and failed, try loving God's way and watch victory replace your failure. Why would the Lord require us to love others His way? You were created with love and created out of His love. In this world today hate and conditional love has become the normal way of life. You may be the first glimpse of God's agape love that some people have ever seen. Remember you are an Ambassador for Christ. To God be the glory.

Love (Agape) you

[04/13/18]   Good Morning! Thank you for partnering with me and praying for the success of our children as they take the STAAR exams. Most have completed these test for now. There are some who are working on the makeup if they missed any test this week. In the month of May they will continue their testing; please remember to pray for our children during these days. Many of theme face daily what most of us have never faced in our lifetime. They need our prayers daily. Let us offer our thanks to the Lord this morning for His love and care for our children and their future.

Heavenly Father! Once again You have responded to our Children, their Educators and their Parents through a time that we needed You the most. We thank you once again for providing what our children need to help them succeed, not just in school but in life. We continue to lift up those who may be testing today and we believe You for their success. We thank you for helping us as parents and guardians as we encourage our children to do their best each day and to make wise choices throughout their life. Most of all we appreciate You for being there daily for our families and friends. We love you and we are grateful that You love us unconditionally. You are more than Awesome! In Jesus Holy Name we pray. Amen!

To God be the glory

[04/12/18]   Good morning! Our children are almost there. I have been receiving good reports and I'm sure you have too. Let's pray them on in.

Heavenly Father! We want to thank you for protecting our children while they are in school. We continue to call on You and thank You for success for each of them during the STAAR test. We pray today that there are no distractions during these test that will keep them from focusing. If fear of these exams try to work it's way in, please immediately remove it. We believe that nothing is impossible with You and our children can achieve anything good they set out to do. You told Abraham You will be with him and his descendants; we believe you are faithful to Your Word. So we thank You for blessing our children with Your presence. All of the glory belong to You Lord. We love and appreciate You. In Jesus Holy Name we give this prayer. Amen!

Thank you
May God bless you
Pastor Marlene

[04/11/18]   Good Morning! Please join me in prayer once again.

Heavenly Father! This is day 2 of the STAAR test and it is our desire this morning to thank You for the Educators who took out the time to prepare our children for these exams. We thank You for pouring knowledge into them so that they would be equipped for the task. We call on You to give these Educators added blessings for taking on the responsibility of helping with the success of each child that You have assigned to them. Also be with them as they anxiously await the results of these exams that their students are participating in. We want to close by thanking you for giving success to our children as they take these exams. We appreciate You. In Jesus Holy Name we pray. Amen!

Thank you for joining in prayer with me and I love you

[03/30/18]   Isaiah 53:3-4 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

Isaiah description seems to point to a group of people who did not recognize a blessing even though it was put right in their face. A group of people who rejected what they needed the most. Unfortunately these people are seen daily throughout the world. Those who don't see Good Friday as a celebration of New Life. People that shout crucify Him, crucify Him on a daily bases. I am sure that God is not distracted by those who identify themselves with the anti-christ as they shout crucify Him. However His disappointment is when those who say they identify themselves with Him but yet they shout crucify Him each time they associate themselves with satan. So often we see that with many that attend Church on Sunday's and live for satan every other day of the week. Jesus gave His life for our sins so that we would be free from both the original (Adam and Eve) and personal (our own) sin. For some strange reason many believers live as if they don't know Jesus. Many act like they've never read the bible. Surely we can all testify that He lives because our spirit has experienced His existence. His love, protection and guidance is with us daily.

For God so loved the world (His created perfect but lost creation) that He gave (by choice) His (one and) only begotten Son so whosoever (chose to) believe (and trust) in Him (the only Savior) shall not perish (suffer death), but (will)have eternal life (live forever with the Holy Father).

Today celebrate Good Friday with praise and joy. Jesus deserve it. Let this day mean more than a day on the calendar. Let this day mean to you as much as it meant to Christ when He gave His life for you. To God be the glory.

Love
Pastor Marlene

[03/15/18]   Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.

The choice to live your life in the Lord is the absolute best thing that you could ever do. Declaring Jesus as Lord of your life comes with so many benefits. The Lord doesn't operate like Santa Claus; who you only hear about at Christmas. Nor is He like the easter bunny; who is only remembered because of eggs and candy. He's not even comparable to the tooth fairy; who is only mentioned for the sake of money. No The Lord is the All in One God. He's the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Almighty and All Holy God. He is the greatest Physician. He is a Provider. He is a Deliverer. He is a Way Maker. He is a Miracle Worker. I could go on and on, but because He is the great I AM God; we know He is everything we will ever need. Call on the only God you can trust and depend on to take care of all your needs and desires according to His will and His riches. Have faith in the True and Living God, not those fake want-a-be gods. Believe that He will do what He says He will do. After all He is not a seasonal God; here today and gone tomorrow. He is always with you even unto the end of the earth. To God be the glory!

[03/07/18]   John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal live.
Have you ever asked anyone: Do you really love me? If you have, you may have received responses like: you know I do or don't I show you. Then there are those who respond by trying to make you believe they are doing you a favor by saying: I'm here ain't I. Some mean no harm when they respond in these type ways and there are those whose trying to cover up the fact that they don't really know if they truly love you the way that you want them too. Then there are those who say they love but it's only for what you can do for them. But what I am excited about is even if you don't think no one else love you; you can be sure without a doubt that God does. He love you so much that He adopted you into His Kingdom. He love you so much that He waited on you to decide that you loved Him. He love you so much that He listens to you as you fuss and complain to Him without even saying I don't want to hear it. He love you so much that He extended His grace to you when you did not deserve it. He love you so much that He heals your sicknesses even though He was not responsible for you being sick. He love you so much that He makes a way for you when you can't see a way out of your own mess ups. He loves you so much that He takes out the time to wake you up each morning even when you forget to ask Him too. The Lord truly love you in spite of who you are or what you've done. As a matter of fact God love you so much that He placed Himself on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins that you committed, so that you could have access to eternal life with Him. He love you so much that He will never force you to chose Him. When you ask the Lord if He really love you; I believe that He will simply point you to the place where He took on the penalty for your sins and then He will hand you the empty tomb.To God Be The Glory.

[02/13/18]   Psalms 46:10a He says, “Be still, and know that I am God.

Sunday we focused on these words that had been written by a very wise person. He is wise because he wrote the words that God speak daily to the believers and that is to "be still and know that I am God." Now the problem we have with being still and allowing God to work in our lives is that we sometimes see Him moving in His own sweet time. We get impatient and try to rush Him along or decide that we can't wait on Him to work things out so we attempt to do it ourselves. The psalmist must have at one time been in our shoes and what he found out is that it is best to just be still and let God do it. He expressed many things that occurred but God stepped in and worked things out for His people. He also used an important word in this scripture; the word "know". Know represents being for sure, not wavering and to be unmovable. He says that God commands us to "know" that He is God. This mean that we can't just say God is God; we must know that without a doubt in our heart and mind that He is the True and Living God. No matter what you face each day or how things look; God is God and He requires faith and trust in Him. Through our frustrations He says "Be Still". This does not mean that your life has to stop but what it does mean is that you must stop worrying, stop crying, stop trying to fix everything that's messed up in and around you. Let God do what He does best and that is take care of you. On Sunday I encouraged the Church to take at least 5 mins daily to sit still, be quiet and focus on the Lord. These 5 mins will make a multitude of difference in your life. During your quiet time instead of telling God how big your problems are; allow Him show you how big your God is. He loves you and He will take care of you; so when He says "be still and know that I am God", do exactly what He says and let Him work it out. To God be the glory.

[09/20/17]   James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sister, whenever you face trials of many kinds.
The word JOY can sometimes be hard to swallow. When things are going well it makes since to have JOY, but the writer tells us to count it nothing but joy through our many trials. This means when life get so bad and you feel like giving up, instead you must stand up and acknowledge JOY. When life presents you with unfavorable circumstances you must declare JOY. I researched the word JOY and I found something interesting, this word in this aspect does not mean that you have to laugh skip and jump through your trials. Instead the believers must allow our trails to be a time to boast on Jesus and not allow our trails to dismiss JOY. You see when you trust in the Lord the Lord will take care of you. When you speak and live with Jesus as Lord over your entire life; He will take care of any problems that come your way. It does not matter how big or small they may be, He has the power to deliver you a breakthrough and make you stronger for any future trials. So when trials come in your life remember to count it all JOY because your problems don't have control over you, instead you have JOY handling your problems. JOY = Jesus Over You. To God be the glory.

[08/29/17]   Romans 8:26-27 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God.

Have you ever prayed for something and wondered if your words were accurate or your request was understood by God? In these verses Paul tells us that even in our prayers the Lord helps us. This mean that even the best of prayer warriors don't know what to pray for. So for us who stumble through our prayers we can be assured that the Lord is interceding on our behalf. This is great news. There have been times that I have prayed and got up wondering if I made my request clear or if I asked for something that I should not have asked for. Isn't it great that we don't need to worry because we have a translator in the midst. He speaks to the Father on our behalf. When we were children and we wanted something from our parents we would pick the one out of the group that we believed would get a yes answer to go to our parents and make our request. That is the way the Spirit works. He is the one that can get the yes answer. But there were times that our representative would come back with a no or not right now. The same thing happens with the Lord; there are times that we get a no or not right now answer. Those no's and not right now's are for our own good. It don't mean that God doesn't care about us; it means just the opposite. He cares so much about us that He doesn't want us to have what's not favorable or what we are not ready for. Paul says that the Spirit know our heart and He also knows God's will for our life. That's deep. God loves us so much that He has a special plan for us. So the next time you pray don't worry about perfection you have a intercessor who is speaking on your behalf and He want let you down. To God be the glory.

Pastor Marlene
