[05/06/20]   John 15:13 says Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

On Jesus way to the cross He took out the time to share some important details concerning the ministry. He wanted those who had chosen to follow Him to know that it would require them to be willing to make sacrifices for others. Jesus gave the greatest visual aid by laying down His life for the sins of others. Today the Church is to be a spiritual replica of who Jesus is. The Church is referred to as Ambassadors for Christ. However as we face this pandemic in the world today, we find that many have partnered with the Church to bring a great description of the type of love that Jesus referred too. We have those who have stepped up and went above the call of duty to perform their assignments. Those who we would refer to as hero's. Those who supply food and other needs for the household, law enforcement in all forms who offers security, medical workers of all fields who helps us to get the necessary medical help as well as those who keep the instruments and areas sanitized to keep the virus from spreading, transportation workers who gets us to and from essential places, military staff, nursing home, home healthcare and child care workers, truck drivers who carries essential items from place to place, those who spend hours praying for healing of the land, and so many others. Those who are on the front line for others. Those who sacrifice their time and safety to help someone else. This is what Love looks like. People doing what Christ displayed while He was walking on this earth and still doing in this world today.
I would like to thank those who have been this type hero in the nation's and to let them know that we appreciate everything that they are doing. I know that there is a special blessing from the Lord in-store for each of you. If you are one of these, this is for you. Thank you and we love you.

To God be the glory.

Love you all

Easter Sunday Sermon

Easter Sunday Sermon

[04/10/20]   Mark 9:31 - For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.”

The question is: What makes Good Friday good since it is the day that Jesus was crucified? We are not to only focus on the crucifixion of Jesus, because when we do we will be sad. Instead our eyes must be fixed on the Living Savior who is our only way into eternal life with the Father. This day is seen as good because thru all that was said and done God's genuine love was displayed for His creation. Jesus knew what He was about to face, but yet He continued to walk that journey, because it was the will of His Father. He chose to lay down His life for our sins because it was the price that had to be paid and that makes this a bitter-sweet moment. However the fact that what He did changed the eternal direction of those who believe on Him, that's what makes Good Friday the best thing that could have ever happened for us and that is good. So instead of being sad, we must be happy because Jesus death on the cross will forever be our only avenue to eternal life with God. His death combined with His resurrection is why we can live forever with our Eternal Holy Father. To God be the glory. Amen!

Bible Study for Exodus 31 by Pastor Marlene

[03/24/20]   Joshua 1:9 says Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua encouraged the followers of the Almighty God not to fall into the area of fear in any season. He repeated the same words that Moses had said to him in Deut. 31:7-8. In this day you must encourage those around you with these same words. In the midst of everything that is going on around us during these trying days, you must remember who your True Protector is. It is only the Lord. He is with you always. You don't have to live in fear. Being strong and courageous in a time when we are facing gaints in our life may seem to be hard to do, but you must remember that your Lord and Savior is with you everywhere you go. You can do all things through Him who gives you strength. Call on the Lord when things seem to be getting out of control.

With everything else on our tables today, now we are hearing that child abuse has risen high. This is another result of fear. I would remind you if things seem to be getting to this point in your home, please take a time out. Walk around outside to breath in a breath of fresh air. Call on the Lord for strength to overcome these type thoughts. Don't allow the demon of frustration to take over. Plead the blood of Jesus as your means of medication on the journey. The strength and power of the Holy Spirit must live within you; so that the trouble of the world will not overcome you. Take Moses and Joshua advice, Do not be afraid or discouraged because the Lord is with you everywhere you go. He will help you in every situation that you encounter. He will never leave you or forsake you. Love God, Love yourself, Love your family and Love others. Please pray for the cease of this virus in the nations and call on the Lord for peace within our hearts and souls. To God be the glory.

Love you

[05/12/19]   Proverbs 31:10, 27-30 A Woman of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

As we celebrate Mother's, we must always remember the value of a real Mom. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have given birth to a child, mother is one who gives love to their children. She makes sure her family is being taken care of to the best of her abilities. For those who have husbands, you make sure that you do everything to encourage your husband to be the best that he can be. A true Mother will love God and teach her children to love Him also. A good Mother will never belittle herself nor accept others belittling her nor her family. The love of a sincere Mother never end for her family, even if they walk out of her life. She continuously prays for them as long as it takes. You see a Woman of Nobel Character is A Mother empowered by God. She is strong and protective. She's a Queen and she's beautiful. If she gets knocked down she will get back up and when she does get up you had better watch out, because she will come back stronger than ever before. Mother's are to be loved, respected and spoken highly of. Kiss your Mom and let her know you love and appreciate her because just like life, her time on earth is limited. To God be the glory for giving us beautiful strong women of God.

[01/28/19]   1 John 4:21 states "And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also."

This verse is very powerful because "True Love" carries much power. The type of love that this verse is speaking of is an agape love. This love is packed with forgiveness, it's unconditional, it's never ending, it's compassion and so much more. What makes this love so powerful? It's because this is the love that God has for us. God loves us so much that He looked over our sins, faults, hate, disrepect, rejections, disobedience, failures, etc. and sacrificed His Son life so that we could have life to the fullest through our relationship with Him. Here we are being instructed to love our brothers and sisters (family and beyond) in this same manner. How can mankind love the way God love. It's this simple: You must live in the abundance of the Spirit of Christ and you will be able to love according to His instructions. Hate will exit and love will flow. Forgiveness will be an important part of your daily life. All who has caused hurt and pain to you will no longer take priority over you. Joy (Christ) will replace anger and sadness as He dwell in you. If you have tried loving your brothers and sisters your way and failed, try loving God's way and watch victory replace your failure. Why would the Lord require us to love others His way? You were created with love and created out of His love. In this world today hate and conditional love has become the normal way of life. You may be the first glimpse of God's agape love that some people have ever seen. Remember you are an Ambassador for Christ. To God be the glory.

Love (Agape) you

[04/13/18]   Good Morning! Thank you for partnering with me and praying for the success of our children as they take the STAAR exams. Most have completed these test for now. There are some who are working on the makeup if they missed any test this week. In the month of May they will continue their testing; please remember to pray for our children during these days. Many of theme face daily what most of us have never faced in our lifetime. They need our prayers daily. Let us offer our thanks to the Lord this morning for His love and care for our children and their future.

Heavenly Father! Once again You have responded to our Children, their Educators and their Parents through a time that we needed You the most. We thank you once again for providing what our children need to help them succeed, not just in school but in life. We continue to lift up those who may be testing today and we believe You for their success. We thank you for helping us as parents and guardians as we encourage our children to do their best each day and to make wise choices throughout their life. Most of all we appreciate You for being there daily for our families and friends. We love you and we are grateful that You love us unconditionally. You are more than Awesome! In Jesus Holy Name we pray. Amen!

[04/12/18]   Good morning! Our children are almost there. I have been receiving good reports and I'm sure you have too. Let's pray them on in.

Heavenly Father! We want to thank you for protecting our children while they are in school. We continue to call on You and thank You for success for each of them during the STAAR test. We pray today that there are no distractions during these test that will keep them from focusing. If fear of these exams try to work it's way in, please immediately remove it. We believe that nothing is impossible with You and our children can achieve anything good they set out to do. You told Abraham You will be with him and his descendants; we believe you are faithful to Your Word. So we thank You for blessing our children with Your presence. All of the glory belong to You Lord. We love and appreciate You. In Jesus Holy Name we give this prayer. Amen!

Thank you
May God bless you
Pastor Marlene

[04/11/18]   Good Morning! Please join me in prayer once again.

Heavenly Father! This is day 2 of the STAAR test and it is our desire this morning to thank You for the Educators who took out the time to prepare our children for these exams. We thank You for pouring knowledge into them so that they would be equipped for the task. We call on You to give these Educators added blessings for taking on the responsibility of helping with the success of each child that You have assigned to them. Also be with them as they anxiously await the results of these exams that their students are participating in. We want to close by thanking you for giving success to our children as they take these exams. We appreciate You. In Jesus Holy Name we pray. Amen!

Thank you for joining in prayer with me and I love you
Pastor Marlene

[04/10/18]   Good Morning! Please join me as I pray for our children who are taking the STAAR test this week.

Heavenly Father We thank you for our children who diligently seek your guidance through all that they go through. We thank You for your continuous protection over them and for being with them at all times. We call on You to bless each one of them with additional knowledge as they take these important exams this week. So many are nervous so please encourage them and remind them that they can do all things through You who gives them the strength. We appreciate You Lord for responding to this request. In Jesus Holy Name we pray. Amen!

Thank you

[03/30/18]   Isaiah 53:3-4 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

Isaiah description seems to point to a group of people who did not recognize a blessing even though it was put right in their face. A group of people who rejected what they needed the most. Unfortunately these people are seen daily throughout the world. Those who don't see Good Friday as a celebration of New Life. People that shout crucify Him, crucify Him on a daily bases. I am sure that God is not distracted by those who identify themselves with the anti-christ as they shout crucify Him. However His disappointment is when those who say they identify themselves with Him but yet they shout crucify Him each time they associate themselves with satan. So often we see that with many that attend Church on Sunday's and live for satan every other day of the week. Jesus gave His life for our sins so that we would be free from both the original (Adam and Eve) and personal (our own) sin. For some strange reason many believers live as if they don't know Jesus. Many act like they've never read the bible. Surely we can all testify that He lives because our spirit has experienced His existence. His love, protection and guidance is with us daily.

For God so loved the world (His created perfect but lost creation) that He gave (by choice) His (one and) only begotten Son so whosoever (chose to) believe (and trust) in Him (the only Savior) shall not perish (suffer death), but (will)have eternal life (live forever with the Holy Father).

Today celebrate Good Friday with praise and joy. Jesus deserve it. Let this day mean more than a day on the calendar. Let this day mean to you as much as it meant to Christ when He gave His life for you. To God be the glory.

Love
Pastor Marlene

[03/15/18]   Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.

The choice to live your life in the Lord is the absolute best thing that you could ever do. Declaring Jesus as Lord of your life comes with so many benefits. The Lord doesn't operate like Santa Claus; who you only hear about at Christmas. Nor is He like the easter bunny; who is only remembered because of eggs and candy. He's not even comparable to the tooth fairy; who is only mentioned for the sake of money. No The Lord is the All in One God. He's the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Almighty and All Holy God. He is the greatest Physician. He is a Provider. He is a Deliverer. He is a Way Maker. He is a Miracle Worker. I could go on and on, but because He is the great I AM God; we know He is everything we will ever need. Call on the only God you can trust and depend on to take care of all your needs and desires according to His will and His riches. Have faith in the True and Living God, not those fake want-a-be gods. Believe that He will do what He says He will do. After all He is not a seasonal God; here today and gone tomorrow. He is always with you even unto the end of the earth. To God be the glory!

Love you
Pastor Marlene
