Grafted Life Ministries

Grafted Life Ministries exists to resource the church in helping people grow closer to God and each other.

Grafted Life partners with communities of believers (churches, small groups, etc.) to: * prayerfully and intentionally seek to discern what God is doing, * offer practical, real direction that begins with where people are, * cultivate communities that offer safety, reconciliation, hope and belonging, and * create experiential opportunities for loving encounters with God, each other and the world. Our resources: * Focus on what it means to talk and walk with God every moment of the day, in all aspects of life. We integrate the whole person into our relationship with God: physical, emotional, relational, intellectual. * Help people discover what it means to live their lives WITH God, rather than around Him, from Him, or for Him. * Integrate an outward-in (the use of spiritual disciplines to affect a person’s habits toward God) with an inward-out (the use of reflection on personal motivations, emotions and deep beliefs) approach to discipleship.

Mission: Our mission is to provide material and support to the church which provide for: Biblical Teaching to understand what Scripture instructs and illustrates regarding all of our relationships. Experiential Learning to employ hands-on, heart-penetrating exercises that explore love in real life circumstances. Growing Together to practice within the Body of Christ and support one another in love, to love

We have often said our materials are "recovery for the rest of the church." This article, by Kent Dunnington, speaks to how much we long for a small group experience where people are real.

As experts in helping people find God in everyday life, Grafted Life is hosting a Facebook Live gathering specifically for Christian women – mothers, grandmothers, and their friends – on the challenges facing our families:

* How do I help little ones find their own relationship with God?
* How should I respond to the spiritual choices of my teens and adult kids--choices I may not agree with?
* Can I make a difference—now, and in the future on behalf of other families?

We'll offer practical suggestions, and empower women who often feel unseen in the church. In addition, you’ll be encouraged as we launch a plan to resource parents and churches in the spiritual nurturing of children and youth.

If we're honest, there's a fear deep inside most Christian parents: our desire to raise godly kids, coupled with a lack of confidence that we are doing it effectively. Can you relate?

If so, and you are a Christian mother or grandmother (or a friend of one), come to our Facebook Live! event (https://www.facebook.com/events/711353165950606/) on Wednesday, May 8, at 7:00pm Central, hosted on the Grafted Life Ministries' page.

Vineyard Pilgrimage

Grafted Life Miniseries is introduced as a resource partner at the Vineyard Pilgrimage Godspeed Conference! Excited to see how the Lord will use the partnership to bless others!

“Several years ago my spiritual life derailed. After decades of trying to live according to the Bible, I “woke up” exhausted one day confronted with the words of Christ in Matthew 11:28-30 - “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (ESV). As I let those verses contrast with the true state of my internal life, I concluded that if Christ’s invitation was true, then I was doing something fundamentally wrong in my walk with Him.”

The Value of Spiritual Direction in the Formation Journey | Grafted Life Ministries

"Spiritual direction is a once-a-month meeting with a trained listener who will accompany you on your spiritual journey, helping you to notice God’s presence and activity, as well as how you are reacting and responding. Hospitable, confidential, and grounded in biblical truth, spiritual direction is a ministry that helps you grow in prayer and live into your calling as a follower of Christ."

Raising a Tabernacle

"...I realized our intention to create spiritual formation curricula for children and youth was a form of “building a tabernacle”--making a space for God to meet with children and for children to meet God." Debbie Swindoll
