[03/21/11]   So spring is upon us, birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, cool breezes, and time for that spring cleaning to take place. But have you thought about a spiritual cleanse? Psalm 51:10 says "Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me." We cant do this ourselves, so draw near to God and ask him to clean it for you. Time for new life to sprout and pour out of you.

[01/12/11]   Isa 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;

As we fasting we are waiting for the Lord.
We should wait not doing nothing but working hard until the Lord does show up.
In this waiting there will be the time of testing of our faith. In Fasting hunger pains and weakness will come.
When this happens we need to pray as my body hungers for food so does my soul hunger for You Lord.
Pastor.

[11/13/10]   God has called us into 1 of 2 positions, to lead or follow. When we know our position then everything flows like God intends for to flow. But when there are followers who try to lead instead of follow then problems arise. These problems hinder the work of God.

[11/12/10]   A POSITION DOESN'T MAKE A LEADER..........UNITY: David created unity among the people. IDENTIFICATION: David identified with his followers as family. CREDIBILITY: David led effect military campaigns. ANOINTING: David enjoyed God's hand and power on his life. PARTNERSHIP: David worked cooperatively with key leaders.
The Maxwell Leadership Bible

[11/12/10]   A POSITION DOESN'T MAKE A LEADER...........David was leading long before Saul lost his throne. A title may give someone authority, but not the influence. Influence comes from the person; it must be earned.

[11/12/10]   A POSITION DOESN'T MAKE A LEADER...........1 Chronicles 11:1-2 All Israel came together to David at Hebron and said, “We are your own flesh and blood. In the past, even while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the LORD your God said to you, ‘You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.’”
