Second Chance Baptist church is an independent Baptist church that ministers to the homeless and those struggling with addictions.
At Second Chance Baptist Church we believe we exist to fulfill these five purposes: 1.Magnify: We celebrate God’s presence in worship 2.Mission: We communicate God’s Word through evangelism 3.Membership: We incorporate God’s family into our church fellowship 4.Maturity: We educate God’s people through discipleship 5.Ministry: We demonstrate God’s love through service. Each of these purposes is guided by the overall purpose of helping people take their next step toward Christ. PASTOR RANDELL is a valiant, humble leader who puts the needs of others ahead of his own. He and his wife Edna have been ministering at Second Chance for over 20 years. THE BUS MINISTRY is the place where the rubber meets the road, by serving those without transportation. The bus ministry picks up twice a week; once on Sunday at The Salvation Army, and again on Tuesday at Homeward Bound Rehabilitation Center. THE CHURCH KITCHEN is committed to making a wonderful meals, including pastries, coffee, and a breakfast feast for the guests of God's house. THE CLOTHES CLOSET offers gently worn clothing, hygiene and food items to those who have found themselves in need through a variety of life changing circumstances. ***Donations are the backbone of this ministry and your help is needed and appreciated.
Mission: Reaching All Generations: We will effectively communicate a relevant, uncompromised, Biblical message to every unique generation. Nurturing Spiritual Growth: Through vibrant Bible study, worship and prayer, we will create a contagious environment for learning, growing and becoming more like Christ. Gathering in Groups: Our family will grow until every unconnected person is a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ and is connected in authentic relationships. Encouraging Effective Ministry: We will design and continually improve our infrastructure to facilitate ministry and celebrate innovation, passion and excellence in every expression of our devotion to Jesus Christ. Resourcing the Faithful: We will enthusiastically give our resources, experience and giftedness to train and encourage those intent on building a prevailing church.

[03/22/20] Hey everyone and happy Sunday! We were notified that our live video stopped at 45 mins. Unfortunately we can not fix it. Hope you get a blessing out of it anyway. We will work to make sure that doesn’t happen for next week! Thanks for hanging in there with us as we work though the kinks of live streaming. God bless!
