The 3rd annual No More Violence Youth Convention was held at Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church on July 21 and 22. Members of the Mesquite Police Department and Mesquite Explorers program played basketball with many of the youth who participated in the program. The Mesquite Police Department donated two basketballs to the program as well.The No More Violence Youth Convention is a 2-day free community event encouraging violence prevention and awareness.
