Thursday we are hosting a Comfort & Joy candlelight service for anyone hurting or grieving during this holiday season. We will have a homemade chili dinner at 6:15 p.m. and the service is scheduled for 6:45–7:30 p.m. Christmas cookies & cider to follow!
This is also a great opportunity to invite someone in your life that is hurting into a healing conversation about Jesus during the holiday season.

Our Senior Pastor, Neil Tomba has opened our eyes to savoring Jesus during this Christmas season. So far, we have savored Jesus as Glory in Flesh, Alpha & Omega, and this Sunday, we will savor Jesus as the Lion & the Lamb. We would love for you to join us!
This Saturday, we will be setting up a toy market at the Northwest Community Center for our refugee neighbors! This event provides an opportunity for our neighbors to give back to their community, along with the opportunity for our church to GIVE & SERVE. We are so grateful for all of the toys we have received so far, and we are still accepting toys until Friday, December 13. Vickery Christmas Market is one of our favorite events of the year! This incredible event on Saturday, December 14 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. provides an opportunity for refugee families to give back to their community by bringing small items to stock the resource room at the Northwest Community Center. In return, they will have the opportunity to select a gift for each of their children.
GIVE by purchasing gifts from our Amazon Wishlist and have them shipped to the Northwest Community Center, or drop off new, unwrapped gifts at the NCC by Friday, December 13.

Today is Giving Tuesday! Support local refugees by giving to the Vickery Christmas Market! Purchase gifts from our Amazon Wish List and have the items shipped directly to the Northwest Community Center in preparation for the Market on December 14. Northwest is providing financial support for the many Northwest families affected by the devastating Dallas tornado. We have been in contact with these families to offer our help. You can help, too!
We’re collecting a special offering through Sunday, November 10 to distribute funds to those affected, and requesting recommendations for any Northwest family you know of that needs assistance. We also have an opportunity to provide gift cards for struggling DISD families.
