I know I must be doing something wrong, but. I cannot find today's sheet. I missed Friday and yesterday, so, I may have missed an announcement that there would be no session today? If that is not the case, how can I get it Thanks
Well.... we moved to the country and have a brand new neighborhood. We've done our part with social distancing, but feel greatly moved to reach out for this Sunday. Please pray for our "Buena Vista" neighborhood as we have invited everyone to celebrate Easter (in their own yards) together at the same time. I know the weather says it's going to rain, but nothing is impossible for our Lord and I'm praying for sunshine or should I say sonshine! Outside of my comfort zone, we have taped to every mailbox an invitation to come out to their yards at 2:00p. Praying for opportunities for many conversations - driveway-to-driveway! Listed ideas for activities for each family. Thankful for Northwest Bible and the amazing teaching through the years!
Hope the storm didn't hit NWBC.
Wanted to share with NW Bible Church, join us for an unforgettable night; as we come together, for praise, worship and one amazing encounter, with God! Its a fun camp in Colorado that will provide great friendships and also help them make sense out of the confusion in the world. Many great scholars are speakers and it allows students to decide what they believe for themselves.
His name is Jesus, the light of the world!
I taught 6th grade boys Sunday school a t Northwest Bible Church in Dallas, one year I proposed to the boys if their team won the Superbowl that year I would let one of them shave off half my mustache and wear it all Sunday like that. Well, I lost and the next Sunday I sat down and one of the boys showed up with a straight Razer. I said no way in the world would I let him use a straight Razer on me. I pulled out my electric Razer and off the 1\2 of my mustache went. A electric Razer was okay... But I was not crazy enough to let a 13 year old boy use a straight Razer on me RickyP
does anyone have 2 ticket to boundaries event this sat? Please msg me. thx God Bless

We invite you to join us as we experience the unexpected joy of desperate dependence on Jesus.

We are a multi-generational church that seeks to be a mind-connected-to-heart people who pursue Christ without pretense. In our own lives, we want to know what it means to grow in our dependence on Jesus — both when times are good and when times are hard. We want to be a people who consistently invite others into the same experience of dependence. For in dependence, we expect to find the joy of resting in Christ’s sufficiency. We invite you to join us as we experience the unexpected joy of desperate dependence on Jesus. NOTE: @northwestbible social media channels provide unlimited opportunities to engage our community as we worship, connect and serve. Our social media communication is defined by honesty, truth, respect, encouragement, grace, hope and authenticity. Mission: Inviting people into the unexpected joy of desperate dependance of Jesus.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the mass shooting at the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, where a white supremacist murdered 9 Black church members during a Bible study. This February, we co-hosted a showing of the powerful documentary “Emanuel” that follows the stories of these victims’ families, with West Dallas Community Church and North Dallas Family Church, as part of our World Passion Week events. It is a message of hope, courage, and forgiveness.

In light of the brokenness continuing to be revealed around us, we continue to grieve and pray for the breaking down of systems that have contributed to these acts of hate.

What can you do? As you’re praying, listening, and learning along with us, you could also take a practical step by inviting some friends to watch this movie with you and engage in conversations about racial injustice that matter.

As we discussed during World Passion Week in February, “Today Matters Tomorrow.”
Our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, words, and actions about racial injustice and reconciliation today matter tomorrow.

Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see others the way You see them, to have compassion for others’ stories, and to be advocates for justice so Your glory is revealed in the earth.

It's time to have some summer fun with Children's Ministry! Come join us for ice cream and worship tonight from 6-7 p.m. in our very own church parking lot! You won't even need to leave your car, as our volunteers will be taking safety precautions and delivering right to your vehicle. Register you and your family on our website at www.northwestbible.org/icecreamandworship. We look forward to seeing your families!

Lord, we praise You that YOU are the standard of steadfast love, justice, and righteousness. Show us what it means for us, as your image-bearers, to practice steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth You entrusted us with. Show us where we have failed to reflect You in our words and in our actions, and bring us to repentance.

Pray for the Fullness of the Spirit

Pastor Neil Tomba spoke to us from his heart yesterday on racial injustice, reconciliation, and the unique place that we as Christians start from in all of it. Although we don’t have all the answers, we are praying, “Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit” as we practice listening and using our platform for justice for our Black brothers and sisters as the Lord has called us to do.
.
We are working on providing a resource list so that you can join us in this journey of prayer, learning, self-examination, and seeking the Lord for what practical steps we can take towards bringing His justice to the broken world around us and being open to healing for the brokenness inside of us. Check this page in the meantime, and we'll update as we have additional resources: www.northwestbible.org/reconciliation
.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23
