PCPC Young Adults exist to extend the transforming presence of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Young Adults in Dallas and to the world.
The PCPC Young Adult's ministry is a group seeking to be Christ's disciples and to bear His truth into our world. That commitment is expressed in our Purpose — that we exist to extend the transforming presence of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in Dallas and to the world. We have two Sunday School communities that meet at 11am and music, teaching, and socializing every Tuesday night at 7pm. If you're brand new to the Christian faith—perhaps, just trying to figure out what it's all about, or if you've been a follower of Christ for some time, let us introduce you to our family. In worship, outreach and missions, and in just having fun together, we would like to provide you with a church home, a place to come and see, to belong, to serve.
Mission: We long to worship God together. We want to be part of a worshiping church. The Lord made us to worship him, and he never intended for us to live the Christian life alone. We hope that Young Adults will grow to love worshiping God together with people of all ages. We know and live the word of God. We don’t just want to know about God; we want to know God. We are eager to know the word of God so that we might live a life that brings God glory. We hope that Young Adults will see that the Christian life is not just about information, but transformation. We tell stories of God’s rescue. We don’t worship a hypothetical Savior. Jesus Christ saves real sinners and gives them real stories of rescue. We want to create a community where Young Adults can share how the Lord has rescued them—and offer that hope to anyone who needs it. We pray bold and dependent prayers. Our prayers (or lack thereof) reveal a lot about us. If we really understand who we are in all our sin and who God is in all his glory, we know that we can’t do anything apart from him. We hope that Young Adults will learn to pray in a way that reflects their dependence on the Lord and their confidence in his power. We long to change the world. We believe that God’s grace isn’t just for us. As the Lord changes us, he intends to use us in his plan to redeem, not just individuals, but the whole world. We want to help Young Adults connect with God’s mission to make his kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We long to be a community that makes a difference in our neighborhoods, in our city, and around the world.
Check out two of our very own, still creating beauty in the midst of so much hardship! Thankful for you two!!
We are opening our doors for worship on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. beginning May 31. We will have limited capacity and therefore require registration at pcpc.org on the Thursday prior to your Sunday attendance. We will continue to live stream our services at pcpc.org/live (9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) for any and all who would prefer to worship online. There will be no childcare, shuttle service/valet, Sunday Morning Communities, nor groups meeting at PCPC at this point. We will have volunteers to assist you in knowing where to park, entering the Sanctuary, and exiting at the end of the service. Safety is still our top priority for you and our community, so we will use this as our next phase toward gathering together as a church family. If you are experiencing or have experienced any health issues this week, we ask that you continue to worship online. You can always find more information online at pcpc.org.

There has been so much to read and a lot of good stuff but this one was good for me. It’s a very long read btw. Here is a quote towards the end that I love. This mans humility and brilliance during this time is much needed for our country. And if you tried Alpha with us then you recognize this man from episode 1.
“One of my great puzzles when I first became a Christian is that verse, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, because My strength is made perfect in your weakness,’” he told me. “That was so completely upside down for me. Weakness? And now I embrace that with the fullness of everything around me when I'm realizing that my strength is inadequate, whether it's coronavirus or some family crisis, God's strength is always sufficient. That is a such a great comfort, but it took me a long time to get to the point of really owning that one.”
theatlantic.com Francis Collins speaks about the coronavirus, his faith, and an unusual friendship.
Dear PCPC Family,
As most of you by now know Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson declared a state of emergency after Dallas County officials banned large public gatherings of more than 500 people in efforts to slow the spread of the virus. At this time all PCPC events have been canceled until further notice.
The first words spoken by our County and City officials urge us not to panic. As those who trust in Christ, we have the privilege of casting all of our anxiety on Him who cares for us. We have the freedom of acknowledging every fear and bringing them into the Light, to the One who loves us and cares for us perfectly. This is a very significant and unique moment in our lives together to reflect the power and presence of our living God to a world that is deeply broken and understandably afraid. We will do this by faith, seeking the Lord in prayer, showing love and compassion to those who are sick and in need, and being ready to give an answer for the Hope we have in the midst of such incredible challenges.
This Sunday at 9:30 a.m. we will live stream our worship service. We invite you to join us by going to https://pcpc.org/live. Our service will include prayer, special music, the reading of God’s Word, and the sermon. We will continue to worship this way until further notice.
To stay informed with how PCPC is responding to this health emergency, you can go to https://pcpc.org/coronavirus or the PCPC mobile app.
If you are in need of pastoral care during this season, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our pastors through Wilma Morgan at 214-224-2742 or email at [email protected]. We are eager to walk with you and encourage all of our flock during this time.
The Lord is with us, He is leading us, and He will never forsake us. This is His promise! Now is an opportunity for us to lean into Him and pray and meditate upon His Word and His attributes. As we walk through this together, know that I, along with all of our pastors, elders, and deacons love you deeply.
Trusting in the Solid Rock,

As you know, our city was hit hard with the storms last evening. Reports are coming in with damage sustained to homes, businesses, and trees throughout Dallas and Richardson, but by God’s grace, we have not heard of loss of life.
