Many times we talk about Faith, we talk about Power, we talk about Anointing. But, how often do we talk about the One who it's all about? Today, we'll start our sermon series on The Life of Christ. We'll discuss the events of His life as they happened in chronological order. Learning about Him as those closest to Him would have.

Only the Strong Survive (3.4.18)

Take a listen to the sermon from today entitled, "Only the Strong Survive". These are sermons from our Sunday morning services. We hope you find some encouragement.

We've been going through the Book of Revelation the past few months, and we're currently up to Chapter 16. With it being the New Year, I was very tempted to take a pause in the series and preach a message about vision and purpose that would hopefully set the tone for us going into 2018. Decided against it. Because, if Revelation 16 doesn't give you perspective and focus, I don't know what will. If want to come and hear more about it, you are welcome. 10:30am. The End is near.

Join us Sunday @ 10:30am as we start a new sermon series, Clear the Stage. Message me for the address.

Acts 2 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Join us tomorrow morning as we continue our series on, "The Upper Room". Last week was off the charts as we talked from the subject, "If This is THAT, Then Where's THAT at?" God is going to start something new tomorrow morning! Get ready...

[04/27/16]   Tonight in Bible study, we are continuing our discussion on The Law and what it means to those who are disciples of Christ.
We discovered that in our desperate attempt to uphold the Law, we have utterly failed. That's why we find some who follow certain principles, yet disregard others. The Law is not one rule that you choose to obey. The Law is a system of rules given by God for His people. If you are guilty of one, you are guilty of them all. For example, most Christians work hard to keep the Sabbath holy. So, we set aside Sundays as the day we give to the Lord. Starting there, we've already broken the Law because the Sabbath is not Sunday. But, for the sake of argument, let's say that it is. On the Sabbath, we are not to work nor cause anyone else to work. Therefore, anytime we go out to eat at a restaurant, we are making others prepare and serve. That penalty, BTW, is punishable by death...under the Law.

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Christ was born under the Law. He was bound to keep the law and fulfill it perfectly so that He might bear the law’s penalty and satisfy its demands of perfect obedience.

Join us at 7:00pm tonight, at 2GFC. There is so much to cover. For instance, how living under Grace comes with higher expectations than living under the Law.

As we lead into the Easter season, we remember that not everything is as it appears. Those who opposed Jesus saw a gentle little lamb who had no power to disrupt their authority. They had no clue of how wrong they were. This Sunday we begin a sermon series that will teach us how dramatically our situations can change when we view them from a different perspective... not as a lamb, but "Through the Eyes of a Lion".

[01/03/16]   Today, in our series "Unleashed", we began making our way through the Book of Acts detailing the power unleashed by God on a group of people who were unleashed into the world to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Interestingly enough, the first step in the process of unleashing didn't begin in Chapter 2 with the releasing of the Holy Spirit. It began in Chapter 1 when the apostles made the decision to replace a fallen traitor, and dealt with the guilt, embarrassment, and pain that would have been associated with it. Hurt sinners become hurt saints, if you don't begin the process of "Replacing Judas". You better come and get some of this...

Join us at 2GFC tomorrow night at 10:00PM. It's no accident that we were created for this time and place in history. God wants to do big things through us in the here and now. Let's learn about the specific part we get to play, because God's Just Getting Started. 3930 Sonora Ave, Dallas, TX 75216.

[07/27/14]   The principles of seedtime and harvest 101 - #1 Seeds reproduce after their own kind. In order to reap the right harvest you must plant the right seeds. You can't get oranges from apple seeds. Financial harvests don't come from planting seeds of love. You have to plant in kind.

[07/27/14]   Join us in the morning as we submit the final installment in our "Multiply" series. We'll be giving the Principles of Sowing and Reaping. 10:30am.

[07/24/14]   Tonight's Bible study, we talked about generational curses and what role demons play. As soon as my recorder stops malfunctioning, I'll be able record and air the studies on HALO.

[07/23/14]   In the past, I've had a problem. Anytime I'm speaking to someone about our church, I've said something like, "We're JUST a small church". In my tone would be a sense of inability or shortcoming. But, I realize now that is a Spirit of Inferiority. And in the Body of Christ there are NO small churches. The church at Philadelphia had “a little strength” (Rev. 3:8). “Now to Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages” (Eph. 3:20–21). There are no small, nor insignificant churches in the Body of Christ. And there are no small, nor insignificant individual Christian believers. To God Be All The Glory for what He is about to pour out. The door He is about to open, can no man close. Amen.

Message to Philadelphia
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this:
8 ‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

[07/22/14]   Sermon...The Principles of Multiplication, in progress now on

[07/18/14]   The last couple of Bible studies have been about demons... What they are, how they operate, how to fight them, etc. I've heard that some churches have said that they don't want to teach this because it would scare people. Really? Well, I know that Hollywood depicts demons as being really ugly and scary. And they can be. But, did you know that you could be working with a demon on your church committee, or singing beside one in the choir? While you're laughing and joking with it, you should be trying to recognize it for what it is and cast it out. The Bible says that Satan entered Judas, who was one of the 12 disciples, and he went to the leading priests to discuss the best way to betray Jesus. When Jesus met with His disciples at the Last Supper, Judas was there too. He sat among them, full of Satan. And they didn't even know. Jesus even told them that a traitor was with them. They spent a few minutes asking who it was, but then their conversation shifted to what was more important too them. They began to argue about who would be the greatest among them. Which sheds some light on why there are so many demons in the church. It's because the disciples are more concerned with being great, than being effective. They are more concerned with maintaining their "good ole boy", country club atmosphere than disrupting the status quo and clearing out the traitors in our midst. We're going deeper... Get ready.
