St. Thomas Aquinas Young Adults

Real people igniting a community that lives, loves, and shares life in the Eucharistic-Christ

In a materialistic and shallow culture that values appearances, St. Thomas Aquinas Young Adults values radical authenticity. We talk about real issues we are dealing with and use real words we would say around any of our friends. We believe that human connection and vulnerable transparency are the answers that young adults are desperately craving. We believe that authentic relationships where we are seen and known are the foundations for the Christian life. Without these relationships, formation and catechesis are powerless. We're not about buzzwords. We're not about looking cool. We're about real life. We're living life together, loving it, and sharing it with others. It is within this context that group members experience love, grow spiritually, and encounter the Eucharistic-Christ.

It's been five years since the Young Adults ministry began at St. Thomas Aquinas in a small room with just eight people. Little did we know how God was going to direct this ministry to serve his people. We have been humbled and honored to serve the young adults of the community in various ways over these past five years. We have seen countless people committing their lives to Jesus Christ and finding purpose and passion through His will being done in their lives.

The first 40 people that arrive will receive a FREE drink ticket!

7-10pm
Dinner will be provided from 7pm-9pm.

Location: The Lot Dallas (Back patio and beer garden)
Address: 7530 East Grand (at Gaston)

Join us tonight at 7:00pm for our monthly Speaker Series. This month’s speaker will be Nicholas Brandt. Meet in the Upper School Drama Room located across the parking lot from the church.

As we approach the beginning of Lent it's natural to start thinking of our resolutions to grow spiritually. This talk will help you focus on perhaps the most neglected area of Lent: almsgiving. How can we spend our time and talents better for the Lord? What ministries can we join to really put ourselves in the mission field? Nicholas will lead a guided personal reflection to figure out what more (or for the over-involved, what less) we need to be doing for the Lord.

Looking to connect with members of the St. Thomas Aquinas Family? Dinner groups are a great way to get plugged in. Sign ups are still going for March dinner groups beginning next week. Sign up by Friday! Link in bio.

Come audition tomorrow night for the next Genesian Ministries drama “The Prodigals”! No experience necessary and no preparation needed.

In a world of new advanced technology, medical progress and reproductive rights, one might be confused about how to make healthy decision about one's sexuality and fertility Care. In light of this, Andrew Gill, a Certified Fertility Care Practitioner will present a seminar Thursday at 7:00pm on the benefits of natural approaches to human sexuality. An integration of understanding the "Theology of Human Sexuality" and "Medical Science of the Creighton Model" will be offered in order to clarify how natural sex in contrast to barrier and contraceptive methods are healthier for each individual as well as for married and family life. One can take away from this seminar new medical knowledge, a deeper understanding of one's sexuality, and talking points to share with others that can benefit from the knowledge and practices suggested.
