Thanking God for our Family and Friends service, God moved in a mighty way! Our theme was Praising God Together. Psalms 133: 1-3
Sermon Subject was:
“Two are better than one”
It’s time for Christians to unite together and stop allowing man made influences to dictate how we interact as Christians. Satan wants to and has divided Gods people and families for that matter with the Bible we all say we read and believe. Remember A house divided can’t stand. Satan knows this. But The Bible says: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothren to dwell together in unity”.
Behold-is to see or observe “Action”
Good-is to be desired or approved of
Pleasant-is giving a sense of happy satisfaction or enjoyment
Dwell-is to be in a specified place
Together-is at the same time
Unity-is joined as a whole
God wants His people that are called by His name to be united as the Saints were on the day of Pentecost Acts 2:1 they were ALL with one accord in one place. That’s how God moves. Accord means to be in agreement. We as Saints of God have to get back to the old landmark and the pattern that was set by Jesus and the Apostles. Jesus said wait to be endued with Power from on High. “Can’t do anything for God without the Power of God”. Because the Bible says “ no good thing dwells (or resides)in the flesh”. 120 received the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost at one time including Mary, Jesus’s mother. Later he Apostle Peter preached under the anointing of the Holy Ghost with the other 119 in the crowd and 3000 souls was added to the 120. See the pattern. “Two are better than one”. When the Word of God is followed and not compromised in any way Miracles happen. “Two are better than one”. If one falls the other can pick him up. “Two are better than one” A threefold chord is not quickly broken.
How can we really help others if we as Christians are not in agreement? My prayer is that we get back to bible teaching instead of denominational teaching for the KINGDOM That’s what it is all about. The KINGDOM “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothren to dwell together in unity”.
Two are better than one
