All Saints Dallas Catholic Young Adult Ministry Serving the faithful in their twenties and thirties

Mission: Through the pillars of spirituality, service, and community, the All Saints Young Adult ministry encourages active participation in the life of the Church and empowers men and women in their twenties and thirties to enter more fully in their faith, support the All Saints community, and enables members to answer the call to go forth and make disciples.

From today's Old Testament reading:

The Lord GOD has given me
a well-trained tongue,
That I might know how to speak to the weary
a word that will rouse them.
Isaiah 50:4

QUIZ: Which Catholic Devotion Best Fits Your Personality? | ChurchPOP

Have only a few private devotions, but be constant in them. -St. Josemaria Escriva

Beating around the Burning Bush

Pope Francis reminds us that contemplative prayer and work are not two attitudes opposed to one another but are unified as some may interpret differently from this week's Gospel. "A prayer that does not lead you to practical action for your brother is a sterile and incomplete prayer. But, in the same way, when ecclesial service is attentive only to doing, things gain in importance, functions, structures, and we forget the centrality of Christ."

Young Adults Adoration Hour: tomorrow at 7 pm in the All Saints Chapel

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at All Saints on Thursdays and Saturdays or by appointment.

“There can be people who have totally destroyed their desire for truth and readiness to love, people for whom everything has become a lie, people who have lived for hatred and have suppressed all love within themselves. This is a terrifying thought, but alarming profiles of this type can be seen in certain figures of our own history. In such people all would be beyond remedy and the destruction of good would be irrevocable: this is what we mean by the word Hell.” Pope Benedict Spe Salvi 45
