Our midweek devotional finally uploaded from where Sten-Erik Armitage is staying while he finishes work on his doctoral dissertation. A friend's cabin in the mountains is an ideal location for writing, though not the greatest for uploading videos! Click the image below and then SCROLL DOWN and open the blue "Midweek Devotionals" box to view the devotional.

[06/07/20]   Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man. Watch to hear answers to these questions:

1) Why are black people rioting? I understand protesting, but why rioting?

2) Why do you think White Privilege exists?

3) Why can black people say the “N” word and we can’t?

4) How come black people care more about white on black crime than black on black crime?

Please watch, reflect, and learn. It’s a good next step.

We Are Blind

In case you had a hard time accessing the worship service and sermon yesterday, please click on the image below. The sermon was a difficult one. Some of us struggle to believe that we could have any complicity in the pandemic of sin. Sten-Erik's sermon helps us look more deeply to uncover areas where Jesus can bring himself glory by dispelling our self-righteousness and changing our hearts, attitudes, and actions. https://www.redeemerbiblechurch.org/sermons/we-are-blind/

We Are Blind

Our nation is literally in flames. People are rioting, injustice is rampant, and we've lost the ability to see beyond our ideologies or the color of our skin. This morning we look at a fundamental truth that is all too easy to lose sight of, because we are truly BLIND.

Where Do You Feel at Home?

This Sunday we dig into 1 Peter 2.11-12 for a look at where we find ourselves most comfortable. In pursuit of holiness, or in pursuit of desires that distract from God's glory.

We are trending in the right direction, but we aren’t there yet! Please pray for our elders as they continue to seek the Spirit’s guidance as to when and how to reopen RBC.

Also please pray for our pastors and staff. The hours they are putting in during this crisis go far beyond the hard work they already do for us.

Remember, although we are unable to gather together, we are able to worship together! Please join us on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings so that we might be united as a church family as we study the word together, sing together, pray together, and live in the beautiful bonds of the unity of the Spirit.
