Grace Fellowship In Christ Jesus

Our Vision: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

GFIC Jesus hearts desire is to see Jesus high and lifted up through WORSHIP, fellowship and studying His life changing words. Come and experience the Glory of God as he brings together a remnant of people that are not afraid to be who God has created them to be.

Mission: To have a variety of people that attend our church that come from different backgrounds and communities. Draw all men and women to himself and that His LOVE is so great the He doesn't pick and choose who is or is not worthy in mans eye. But reaches out to "Whosoever" will believe in Him.

[06/17/20]   As I was praying this morning I heard the Lord say; “Stay on Course”. Peter thought he was looking out for Jesus, but he didn’t hear what Jesus was saying or should I say he didn’t what to listen.

But I love what Jesus said, “Satan get behind me”. He wasn’t calling Peter Satan, he was speaking to Satan because he knew where Peter’s statement was coming from.

Matthew 16:21-23 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Today stop what you’re doing and ask the Lord for direction. There’s nothing wrong of receiving advise, but make sure it lines up with God’s will for your life.

Be blessed today!

[06/15/20]   I keep hearing in my spirit “Favor. Do you believe that you walk in God’s favor? He will not withhold any good gift. He gave you the Holy Spirit, one of the greatest gifts of all, why would he hold back now?

1 Samuel 1:17-18 Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him. ”

She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes. ” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.

Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home.

So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.

Hannah couldn’t have children, but she prayed to the Lord and he granted her request. Once she heard that the Lord was answering her prayers, she began to worship him.

Let’s spend the day worshiping the Lord for answered prayers.

Be Blessed!

[06/10/20]   Samuel had just anointed Saul as King, in other words, he was set apart as King. Samuel gave him instructions and told him that he would come into contact with a group of prophets that had been in the presence of the Lord and were prophesying (speaking out the wonders of the Lord) and he would begin to do the same. And he was changed from an ordinary man into a man of authority.

1 Samuel 10:5-7 The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person. Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.

The Lord is inviting you to spend time with him so that he can set you a part for a great work. As you spend time with the Lord he will put the words in your mouth that will cause change for the better. Don’t let the cares of the world keep you from the greatness of God.

Be blessed!

[06/09/20]   This just hit my spirit; “God is going to restore what the enemy has taken from you in this last season. There is a season for everything and you have now left one and have entered into a season of restoring provision.

You are about to have a divine appointment just like the woman Gehazi was speaking about. She showed up at the right time for her blessing.

2 Kings 8:5-6 Just as Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life came to appeal to the king for her house and land.

Gehazi said, “This is the woman, my lord the king, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.” The king asked the woman about it, and she told him.

Then he said to the official, “Give back everything that belonged to her, including all the income from her land from the day she left the country until now.”

This is a set up from the Lord! I release this word to hit your spirit to cause your faith to rise up and receive it in Jesus name!

[06/05/20]   Here is a word for someone. People around you have defined you by the way they see you. Just like the mother of Jabez, she gave him a name that means “Pain”. But Jabez cried out to God to bless him and enlarge his capability to receive big time.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.”

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

Jabez didn’t stop by only asking God to bless him, but to give him favor, protection and a new name. I sense the name was “More than enough”. So what about you? Are you going to settle with what your label is, or are you going to ask God to change your name to “More than enough”?

Come on let’s do this!

[06/04/20]   Stand up! It’s time to stand in faith and see your breakthrough come forth. The Bible tells us that faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ. Our faith in Christ open doors that seem impossible for us to walk through.

Acts 14:8-10 While they were at Lystra, Paul and Barnabas came upon a man with crippled feet. He had been that way from birth, so he had never walked. He was sitting and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed. So Paul called to him in a loud voice, “Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking.

Today, stand to your feet, this is your day for a miracle!

I thank you Jesus that today is the day for a miracle for this one that is hearing your word and causing their faith to rise up! Stand up and receive what the Lord has for you today in Jesus name I pray amen!

[06/02/20]   This morning as I was spending time with the Lord I heard in my spirit “Change”. Things are changing all around us and we also must change. The word of God doesn’t change, but His word should change us.

God has a plan for you and me, and as we allow his plan to be revealed through our lives, many around us will be changed too.

Jeremiah 18:2-4 “Go down to the potter’s shop, and I will speak to you there.” So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.

Remember that you are in the palm of the Lord’s hand, nothing can remove you, so let Him do what he wants to do. It’s for your good!

Be blessed!

Praying for you today! It’s Friday!

[05/29/20]   As I was praying this morning, “Zeal” rose up in my spirit. I had to ask myself; “Am I still excited in the Lord as I once was?” It all depends on how I keep myself stirred up in the Lord.

If I don’t take the time to spend it with the Lord, then I don’t feel the Zeal or excitement for the Lord. But when I stop and think about how good the Lord has been to me, I begin to feel his Spirit ignite my spirit with zeal to serve him even more.

Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal(excitement),but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

If you feel down and out, stop what you are doing and thank the Lord for his goodness. Then watch your attitude change and then become a blessing to those around you.

Be blessed!

[05/28/20]   Sometimes it’s good to be reminded in how we should pray. Jesus gave us this template in how to pray. This is a great way to begin your time of prayer. Then as the Holy Spirit leads you, other words will be added. Keep it simple, prayer is our way we communicate with God.

Like 11:2-4 Jesus said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, May your name be kept holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive those who have sinned agains us. And keep us from being tempted, but deliver us from the evil one.”

If Jesus went away many times by himself to pray to his Heavenly Father, then we should too. Make time to pray, it will make a difference in your day.

Be blessed!

[05/27/20]   This morning I kept hearing in my spirit “Produce” when I looked up the meaning it said; to cause to have existence. In other words “Make happen”. Jesus taught that the seed is the word of God. And if you prepare yourself, by spending time with God through reading his word and praying, you are in a place to see God’s word produce a mighty harvest in your life.

Matthew 13:23But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

Now harvest doesn’t always mean finances, it could be a breakthrough or favor of God. What are you believing God for? The Lord has been speaking to you, listen to what he says; He’s leading you into your harvest.

Be blessed!

I'm sad to bring this information that Mary Hellen went home to be with the Lord this morning at 2:00. But I rejoice that's she's in the presence of the Lord.. I'll keep you posted about the service as I know more.

Listen, I’m praying for you!

Let’s soar together in prayer

[05/26/20]   I sent out this scripture before, but I feel strongly in my heart to send it out again. The devil is trying so hard to discourage and confuse so many people. You don't know where to turn. You hear all this chatter from all directions. There is so much division, one against the other. Instead of being divided, let us be united in Christ. With man it's impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Micah 2:13 “The breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them].They will break out, pass through the gate and go out;So their King goes on before them,The Lord at their head.”

Just remember that as believers we have Christ in common. The Lord can work out all the other stuff. Don't get caught up in all the stuff, get caught up in Christ.

Be Blessed!

[05/21/20]   Have you ever felt like giving up? If so, then I have a word for you. As you can see things are changing around us rapidly. Things and daily activities that we once knew, now have become foreign.

But we serve a God who is the same yesterday, today and forever. As Jesus walked on this earth, he was tempted or in other words, testing just like you and me. But he never took the bait to step off the path that was designed for him to take.

Hebrews 4:15-16 This High Priest (Jesus) of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

So Instead of throwing in the towel and giving up, call on the name of Jesus and he will give you the strength to keep moving forward on the path that he designed specially for you.

Heavenly father I thank you that today is a new day, a new way of seeing things. I ask you Lord to remind each person of all that you have already done in their lives and remind them about the things that you promised them. I prophesied that today is a day of an awakening for each person to shake off the things that are bringing them down and rise up in Jesus name. Amen!

[05/20/20]   This scripture is a great reminder for us to keep trusting the Lord. There is so much confusion all around us, but we serve a God of order and not of confusion.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

The Lord leads us in the right direction at all times. Don’t worry, he has a good path all laid out for you. Seek him and he will cause you to find your way.

Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 3 He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Heavenly father I thank you for leading and guiding us through this chapter in our lives. You bring us out of darkness into your marvelous light. You give us sight to see your plans for our lives. In Jesus name! Amen!

The Lord put on my heart to tell you that you have entered into a season of blessings. They come in different shapes and sizes.

Be blessed!

[05/19/20]   Are you one of those people they call a busy bee? Those who are always on the move and they get frustrated that no one seems be helping them. Maybe you are like that, doing things that God didn’t intend for you to do. Here’s how to break that cycle.

Luke 10:39 Martha had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Make time to seek the Lord? Be still and know that he is God... Jesus has a plan for your daily living. Stop and listen to what he saying to you! Then begin to move in the direction he has for you.

Be blessed!
