Our Vision: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
GFIC Jesus hearts desire is to see Jesus high and lifted up through WORSHIP, fellowship and studying His life changing words. Come and experience the Glory of God as he brings together a remnant of people that are not afraid to be who God has created them to be.
Operating as usual
I love this scripture! Just think that the last thing that Jesus did as he was ascending to heaven was bless his disciples.
Luke 24:50 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.
The blessing is more than a material thing. It equips and empowers us to fulfill the plan of God for our lives. If God before you, who can be against you. Having favor with God and he gives us favor with people. You are a child of God and he blesses his own.
I declare that you are blessed and highly favored of God!
I was thinking about the Lord's prayer in how it covers everything. It's a templet of how we should pray. It starts out by telling God the Father how great he is and asking that his Kingdom come to Earth as it is heaven.
[07/10/21] For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind
This morning I was thinking about the Lord's prayer in how it covers everything. It's a templet of how we should pray. It starts out by telling God the Father how great he is and asking that his Kingdom come to this earth as it is in heaven.
Then the prayer goes on about provision, forgiveness, protection from temptation and then it comes to a close with a declaration of how powerful and glorified God's Kingdom is forever.
Matthew 6:9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be doneOn earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Let the word of the Lord speak to you as you pray his will be done.
[07/06/21] Now this is the confidence we have before God: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
This morning the word confidence was going over in my head. The meaning of Confidence is a relation of trust or intimacy. When you gave your heart to the Lord, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth came to live inside you. He gives you the words to pray that lines up with the will of God.
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
Stop wishing for things to happen and allow the Holy Spirit to put the words in your mouth to speak out. Then be confident as you pray to the Lord that he hears you and he has answered
What do you do when things seem to be getting on your nerves? Do you come up with a plan or do you seek the Lord for the answers? David understood that the only way he would make it was to put his trust in the Lord.
Prayer time- Freedom
[07/02/21] The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand to do
Set a guard
over my mouth, Lord
keep watch over the door of my lips.
What do you do when things seem to be getting on your nerves? Do you come up with a plan or do you seek the Lord for the answers? David understood that the only way he would make it, was to put his trust in the Lord.
Psalm 62:1 Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. 2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
We are not suppose to carry the load, we are told to cast our cares on the Lord. Jesus said he would lighten the load and give us rest.
Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
What are you waiting for? Call upon the name of Jesus and let go and let him have it.
Truly my soul finds rest in God. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress
I will never be shaken.
[06/28/21] Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you.
As I was thinking about how much the Lord loves us, even when we fail him. His love is unconditional. He keeps no record of our shortcomings. He gave us the gift of grace unearned favor.

Lamentations 3:22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
Not only is the love of the Lord steadfast, his mercies never end! Stop beating yourself up and receive the love of Christ that is poured out for you. He's faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins.
Praying for a mighy outpouring
I can do all things through Christ
who strengthens me
Do not be afraid or discouraged
For the battle is not yours,
[06/24/21] For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Praying seeking the Lord
[06/22/21] Blessed is the one who has believed that what the Lord has said to them will be accomplished!
Mary was given a promise that she would give birth to the Son of God. She believed the word and received it. Then her cousin recognized the blessing and declared it over her even before Mary gave birth to the promise.
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.”
45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
What has the Lord promised you? Just because you don't see it right now doesn't mean that he won't happen. Mary took God at his word, why not do the same? Stop saying it won't happen and begin to say, God said it and I believe it!
[06/21/21] Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
Who or what do you bow down to? The bible tells us that "If God be for us and took all of our sins upon him to be the judge so that we could come into a relationship with our heavenly Father through believing in him. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Who or what do you bow down to? The bible tells us that "If God be for us who can be against". Jesus died for us and took all of our sins upon him to be judge, so that we could come into a relationship with our heavenly father through believing in him. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Palm 24: 8 Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle. 10 Who is [He then] this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies].
If you feel defeated, then welcome the King of Glory into you life. He is strong and mighty to fight your battles. He never looses a battle. I speak victory over you right now! Jesus is the lover of your soul.
We as believers need to remember that the Lord takes care of us. We walk by faith and not by sight. The word of God says that he will never leave us nor forsake us. King David is sharing his experience in how the Lord took care of him all of his life. The Lord will do the same for you.
Psalm 37:25 I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous (those in right standing with God) abandoned Or his descendants begging for bread.
We must remember that faith pleases God, so we are not to beg him for things, we are to ask in faith believing that we will receive what we ask for. So begin each day thanking the Lord for taking care of all your needs.
