Our vision is to be a multiethnic church, together pursuing the glory of God through worship, community, and disciple-making among all nations.
At Preston Highlands Baptist Church, we’re about three things: God, Community, and Mission. God comes first because in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we find salvation, acceptance, and new life. Community comes next because God’s love for us in Christ makes us a new people. Being reconciled to God makes us reconciled to each other. Mission comes next because God’s love drives his people out as messengers of his grace and mercy. We invite you to visit with us and participate in the work that God is doing in us and through us.
To help you worship on Sunday, I've created a "Home Worship Guide" (see link below). It contains links to songs, scriptures, the sermon, and online giving. It also has discussion questions for you to consider.
Feel free to add to or subtract from what you find here, and remember that worship should be led by the head of the household.
As you worship Jesus this Sunday, remember that saints from every age and place have done this since Jesus ascended to heaven. If you find yourself in isolation, know that your brothers and sisters in Christ are worshipping with you from afar.
With you, in love,

I hope this post finds you well today. Nick and I thought that a video from me each week may be helpful and encouraging. So below you'll find my first attempt at making a YouTube video - thank you Jeff Thompson for all your help! The video has announcements, prayer requests, and a short devotional thought. You can find it here:

[03/28/20] Preston Highlands will not be meeting for gathered worship this week. Download our Home Worship Guide here: https://bit.ly/2wylheF
I pray that this message finds you well. My hope and prayer is that you will set aside time tomorrow to worship with your family/spouse/roommate/a few church members or friends. Sing together, read Scripture together, pray together, and listen to the sermon together and then discuss it together. We may not be having church, but we can still seek the Lord together with those closest to us.
Here is the link for this week's sermon:
Here are songs you can sing together:
Behold Our God
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
Christ the Sure and Steady Anchor
He Will Hold Me Fast
Jesus Paid It All
Here are Scriptures to read together:
1 Peter 2:21-25
Here are questions for reflection/discussion:
1) What does God owe you?
2) How do you usually respond when you're wrongfully accused? How did
Jesus respond (v. 5)?
3) How do we know when to defend ourselves and when to remain silent?
4) With the extra down time you have, are you watching, listening to, or
reading good biblical content? How can you know who to listen to?
5) Why did Pilate hesitate to execute Jesus? And why did he follow
through with it?
6) Read Romans 8:32. What does this verse teach us?
It's surreal to think that we're not meeting together tomorrow, and likely won't be for several more weeks. I miss you and can't wait to be together again. Our God will show himself faithful during this time. Praying that he blesses your time of worship tomorrow.
With Love, Your Pastor,
