Hebrews chapter 3 reminds us that we are God’s project, we are HIS house. Since the church is foundationally the project of Christ and not of man, we can trust the work that is being done. Though much in the world fades away and even nations crumble, what God builds He builds forever.
Is that not the coolest bit of knowledge to know? What He builds he builds forever. Let that ring in your ears all day today and let it seep into your work. He is building something far greater than we are able to imagine. With every bit of work we do it is not done in vain. There is big purpose! Hold fast to this truth, church. It should propel us into our days with eagerness and peace. God is building something big in us here right now that will last for eternity. 🙌🏻

It is tempting to turn to many other things when we are in need. But the same thing that drew us to Christ when we placed our faith in Him is the same thing we must return to when we are in need: His greatness.
If Jesus can conquer sin, death and decay then what is impossible for Him to conquer in your own life? What can He not solve? We must come back to a faith rich in trust. So that when we are walking through a valley or find ourselves in a pit we are able to, without question, trust in our Heavenly Father with every bit of our circumstances knowing how great our God is.

Thanks to Dustin Messer we were able to understand the beauty behind the sacraments of the church. We learned they are gifts from God not just for an activity in worship but real spiritual food. That food, when taken through faith, is strong enough to feed our spirit throughout the week to live for Christ and for the world.

Can we get an amen?! Praying over you this week, friends. So grateful for each of you and the blessings you are to St. Patrick's.

What does it mean to be a sacramental church? This Sunday
we'll look at the two sacraments of
the church--Baptism and the Lord's Supper--and ask not only what they are, but why Christ left them for his followers.

We are so excited to have Dustin Messer join us this week to teach on this. Please come see us and join us for dinner after at The village Burger Bar! See you at 4pm!

Last night we learned that hospitality is the bridge for the stranger to find their life and home in Christ. What an amazing concept that the simple act of inviting someone into our home can actually be an invitation to the front porch of an encounter with Jesus. 🙌🏻

Our prayer for the church this week is that the holy spirit would show us where we can make room for this ministry. Let's be a church that steps out in faith and leads with open doors.

Saint Patrick is famous for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ across Ireland—but Saint Patrick was not Irish!

He was kidnapped as a young boy, taken to Ireland, and enslaved. Years later he escaped. God then called Patrick back to Ireland, a place with a history of deep pain and injustice for him, to lead the Irish people and culture to redemption through the truth of the gospel. Saint Patrick obeyed God’s calling and went back to Ireland; yet, he did not go alone. He took a team of clergy, lay people, and students with him. Many would argue that this was a vital party of his mission’s success.

And much like Saint Patrick’s story, we believe that the call to make disciples is not the burden of one man, but the joy of the whole church. And much like Ireland during Saint Patrick’s life, Dallas is a beautiful place in need of redemption through Christ’s love that a church community filled with grace and hope can bring.

A fun side note: In many illustrated depictions of Saint Patrick you will see snakes and a three leaf clover. This is because Saint Patrick was known for using the 3 leaf clover to aid in describing the Trinity and while just a fun Irish myth—many believe there are no snakes in Ireland because Saint Patrick prayed them away!

We are an Anglican church and part of AMiA, the Anglican Mission in America. Established in the Anglican tradition, founded in the first-century church and developed during the English Reformation, AMiA is distinctly, and equally, nourished by these three streams: scripture, sacraments, and spirit.

Mark and Cate met in 2011 while she was living in Pennsylvania and he in Texas. Thanks to the world of online dating and obviously God bringing them together—they are still going strong with 10 years under their belt and 5 kids later. You can typically find them outside exploring nature. Their favorite activities include hiking, fishing, grilling, playing with their dog—Scout, and sharing a great meal with friends.

God placed a calling into the life of ministry not only Mark’s heart, but on Cate’s as well. Cate has a talent for seeing the beauty of this world and everything in it through the eyes of the Lord and shares that gift doing professional wedding and portrait photography. She also spends her days sharing the joys of of learning through nature with their kids during homeschooling.

Our vision at St. Patrick’s NW Dallas is to introduce people to Christ and to one another with the ultimate goal of eternal life for every man, woman, and child in the form of a restored relationship with God. Our primary need as human beings is a restored relationship with our Heavenly Father. Sadly, many people do not realize how to restore this relationship, and some do not even know their need for Him at all. We have been called to cultivate community in such a way that restoration and healing will be brought forth through Christ’s love for God’s glory.

Mark and Cate have been married for over 10 years and have 5 children together.  Mark has been in ministry since 1995, shortly after graduating from high school.  He has practiced several denominational traditions during his career with diverse ministry experiences.  While his background is not Anglican, Mark has described his calling into this tradition “like coming home.”  Mark and Cate felt a call to church planting during the holidays of 2014/2015.  Since then, the Lord has led them to Dallas, which is Mark’s hometown, to work with All Saints and the Rt. Rev. Philip Jones. Mark’s calling was confirmed and encouraged through the wisdom of All Saints leadership and support from its members.

We are incredibly excited to announce our launch date very soon!

Before we do that though, we are asking for your immediate support. We are 80% funded thanks to so many gifts and provision from the Lord! Our remaining desire is to have an incredible worship leader and robust family ministry the day we launch. Beyond our calling of providing pastoral care to our growing St Patrick's community, we are called to be good stewards of the gifts we have been given and continue to receive. At St. Patrick's we believe investing in the children and the people who will serve our community well is a good place to start. We are asking you to pray with us and then take that step in faith to make a donation. We hope to get an additional $4,000/month to bridge the gap. Would you help?
