This past Sunday, Pastor Johnny @jdgonzalez85 brought a powerful word about developing resilience by receiving help from Jesus. Jesus conquered our sins, and now our sins are CANCELLED.

Hebrews‬ ‭2:14-18‬ ‭(NIV) - “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants. For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”
‭‭
Jesus helped us by becoming like us, overcoming the devil, conquering death, and delivering us from sin. Because of this, we can freely and safely repent, live a life of trust, and receive continual help from Jesus. ❤️

Join us this Sunday as we continue our series on Developing Resilience.

THIS FALL we invite you to join us in practicing TWI - Thanksgiving, Intercession, and Prayer for our city, nation, and nations of the earth. 🙏❤️

Thanksgiving is our response to what Jesus HAS DONE in our lives. Worship is our response to who Jesus IS to us. Intercession is our response to what Jesus WANTS TO DO.

This guide is helpful in understanding the difference nuances of these practices and will help you practically encounter Jesus in your own time with Him.

JOIN US TONIGHT at the church for a corporate time of TWI at Jesus Hour from 7-8pm. SEE YOU SOON!

This past Sunday, Pastor Zach (@zachdaniel_) shared our growth pathway - the ways you can continue to grow in your walk with God and with the people of God. This pathway is like a garden, with steps you can take no matter where you are at in your journey with God. Will you take a moment to ask the Holy Spirit which growth step you should take today? We invite you to come grow here with us at Antioch Dallas!

Pastor @zachdaniel_ returned with us on Sunday to kick off our two part series: Come Grow Here!

What does a rich and satisfying life look like according to Jesus? Some characteristics that define the abundant life Jesus desires for us are:

* A life of knowing God
* A life of character
* A life of community
* …and several more!

Do you know what Biblical comfort is and the implications and applications it has on our lives?

Biblical comfort = encouragement. Biblical comfort does not mean that we will live a life of ease, but it's a promise from God that in the midst of pain and grieving, we will be comforted by the Holy Spirit. We live unto resurrection, not death, and that empowers us to live with hope and confidence.

Do you long for lasting comfort? Listen to this full, anointed, and timely message from our very own @jdgonzalez85 on our YouTube channel @antiochdallas

Will you take at least the next 60 seconds to pray through these 4 prayer points written by believers on the ground?

Guest speaker @jordanogden_ and his wife @christyogden shared a empowering message this past weekend, calling us to not throw away our confidence. We can approach the throne of God because we have a sympathetic, high priest in Jesus who, like us, was tempted by sin but yet was sinless. His death and resurrection made a way for us to approach the throne with confidence, so that we might find mercy and grace to receive the help we need from God. And why is this important? Because if don’t throw away our confidence, we will receive a great reward.

Are you confident today in Jesus? Are you confident that you are doing what He’s called you to do?

Mark 10:46-52 is a powerful story of blind Bartimaeus’s deep need for Jesus that is met when he chooses to push past his own comfort and cry out in vulnerability for Jesus to heal him. As he cried out, those around him told him to be quiet.. how did he respond? Bartimaeus cried out for Jesus even louder. We learn in this story that intercession and comfort don’t mix. Often great moves of God happen when His people humble themselves and cry out for Him.

Will you join us this fall as we enter into prayer and intercession for our city and our nation? What are you crying out to God for in this season?

More resources on prayer and intercession to come. #prayer #intercession #dallaschurch

Do you know how much God Loves YOU?

Join us this Easter Sunday, April 4th, at 10am to hear and celebrate together the good news of the gospel...the story of God’s generous love for people evidenced in all he has done and accomplished having raised Jesus from the dead.

We have much to celebrate! Don’t miss it!

Ephesians 1:18-23
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”
