Thankful that no one was hurt in the recent tornadoes.
This post is shared from the AACS page.

The new AACS office sustained significant tornado damage Sunday night. We are THANKFUL for many things: no staff homes damaged, no lives lost in our church family, current office undamaged. We are waiting for final word from insurance, but we expect that the building that we were planning to move into in June will be torn down to the pad and rebuilt. The tornado shifted the entire second floor about 4 inches.

[03/13/20]   UPDATE: SCACS Cancels Fine Arts Festival

After carefully weighing the information available, SCACS has made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining portion of the 2020 SCACS Fine Arts Festival Competition scheduled for March 19-20, 2020.

Edited to add:
Obviously, it is a huge disappointment to hundreds of students, parents, fine arts coordinators and instructors, and many others. Due to the uncertainty of the state of emergency we are under as well as the logistics required for preparation, postponing the event will not be possible.

[03/06/20]   The 2020 SCACS Elementary Festivals are going on today at Hampton Park Christian School in Greenville and Northside Christian School in N. Charleston.

Wednesday, January 22nd, was the annual Columbia Conference and business meeting. We had around 30 schools in attendance. While the adults were in the annual SCACS business meeting the 50 students went to the capitol building and grounds for a tour with Chad Connelly.
At the business meeting, two of the board members were given Distinguished Service Awards for their time on the SCACS Executive Board. Dr. Bill Egerdahl has served on the board for 12 years and Pastor Charles Rice has served on the board for 25 years. Both of these men will be missed in the boardroom. Thank you for your service to our schools.
