New Life Ministries C.O.G.I.C

The Vision of New Life Ministries is to effectively implement the doctrinal discipline of our Lord and to develop programs that will assist us in promulgating the gospel of Jesus Christ.

[03/24/13]   "Change Your Mind, Change Your Life!" Pastor Moye' brought forth a dynamic word from God today. He keep it very real today. We must take off some things to put on some things. We mess up when we try to put on without taking anything off. You don't keep on the same clothes and put more clothers on over those everyday. You take off today's clothes to put on new clothes tomorrow. You "change" your clothes. We have been talking about a renewed mind for the last few weeks and I don't know Romans 12:1-2 had so much meat in it. Pastor has preached about the same bottom line, "Change," and brought teh message a different way every time! Each week, it gets better and better, Just like God's word!

[03/24/13]   Kayla Asencio, a 12 yr old tween at NLM brought the Food for Thought message today. "Are you Real, Are you Fake?" She says you need to be real stand up for God. Dont' be afraid to show people what you stand for; don't try to be something you're not just to fit in. She did a wonderful job and we are so proud of her.

[03/10/13]   Where are you leading yourself? That's the question Sis Jamisha Brown had us ponder on today. She did such an awesome job bringing the food for thought. We always seem to encourage others but we procrastinate when it comes to ourselves. Our thoughts influence our actions. If we keep thinking of excuses as to why we can't do it, we won't do it. Remember we are fearfully & wonderfully made. And as Jamisha reminded us, we can do all things thru Christ. If we really trust & believe, we can and we will. This message went hand in hand with the Word Pastor Moye' delivered, "The Renewed Mind." Change the way you think and it'll change your life. If you think you are, you are; if you think you can, you will; if you think you can't, you won't. The world wants us to doubt ourselves so that we dont' succeed. Transformation has began, your New Life starts now!

[02/26/13]   The "It Look Like..." syndrome. Once again Lady Moye' delivered an awesome word from God today. The "It Look Like" syndrome mirrors a shiny, red apple tha's rotten to the core when you bite into it. Are you that apple that looks good on the outside but no good on the inside? You know that person that dress the part, never have nothing good to say and only wanna drink milk not eat meat. Time for a change called THE REAL THING. Romans 14:11-16.... what an awesome word

[02/10/13]   What an on-time word we got from Lady Carolyn Moye' today. "This is How I Am, But..." The Word says I am fearfully and wonderfully made, yet I was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. How can this be? Yes you are who you are but you can a better you! Satan is not our only enemy. We are our own worst enemy. Our personality and past henders us. We allow those things to define our present. No longer should allow your past to dictate your future and your personality to define your destiny. There couldn't have a better person to bring forth this message today. She has overcome her past defining her destiny by living every moment in Christ. NLM is the most blessed ministry to have such a wonderful first lady!

[01/21/13]   My God, what a word you allowed Lady Carolyn Moye' to bring forth today. "Left Behind" (John 14:1-3, 26-27). It was an on-time word, a right now word that was needed. As she stated, it came just in the nick of time. You may have been overlooked, misunderstood, left on at somebody's door, mother left you, father left you, loved one is now passed away and you feel like you were left behind. But what exactly does that mean? You were left behind to do what? for what? why? Being left behind may not always be a bad thing. Sometimes the thing we're being left out of, is something we didn't need to be a part of for a reason. Even though you're feeling left behind, God wants you to know you were never left alone. He's always been there and will always be there for you. What an awesome God!!! He couldn't have used a better person to deliver such a beautiful message to NLM. IT WAS POWERFUL..

[01/13/13]   New Life got an awesome Word from Lady Moye' today. "What To Do When You Don't Know What To Do." My oh my, it was a word straight from God today. Reviewing the story of Queen Esther and how she went straight to God when she needed to. There are some things that ONLY GOD can fix. There are some things we need not waist time on going to others about. Only God can fix it. Recognize when you have your God moment. So when have decisions to make, obstacles to overcome and it seems you just don't know what to do, call on the Almighty God.

[01/04/13]   Biblical history shows that the longest fast was for 40 days and forty nights. What persons in the bible completed this fast? Include scripture to support your answer.

[01/04/13]   Our firt bible study session of 2013 and it was awesome. Since we're approaching our fast/consecration we talked about how to fasst correctly. Fasting is the discipline of abstaining from some things, not just food, for specific spiritual reasons, which will also produce some natural results. It's afflicting one's soul and should demonstrate the sincerity of our prayers. Fasting correctly should (1)loose the bands of wickedness, (2)undo heavy burdens, (3)let the oppressed go free and (4)breaky every yoke. ~ (Isaiah 58:1-7)
When you're fasting you must stay in God's word and continually pray. As you join us for this fast let's be on one accord as we pray for (1)salvation, Holy Ghost, anointing (2)overall plan of God for home/church and (3)growth and maturity. Let's pray for these things daily but also focus on each one week at a time. So for example, week one we'll focus on (1) salvation, Holy Ghost, anointing, etc. Also, on a daily basis we'll pray between the hours of 5am - 9am, intercede between 11am - 2pm and pray between 6pm - 9pm. As we pray let's do so for mercy, assurance, power & faith. Ask God for input and promise. Happy fasting!!!

[01/02/13]   Our last highlight of 2012 was the recipient of “Daughter of the Year” which was Kimberly Hayes. We’d like to congratulate her. She was nominated by the members of our ministry. And our last addition to the ministry was new member, Charity Hudson. She is not new to the KOG but new to our family. She loves praising God. Charity was invited by Aspiring Miss’y Jessica Martinez, her high school classmate. Thank you Jessica for being fruitful, we’ve enjoyed Charity being here and we love you both. While continuing to be fruitful, we now move forward into the new year of 2013 with a new theme and focus, “Reviving What Remains” ~ Rev. 1:19 (ref. Rev. 1:11, 4:1; II Cor. 12:1-5). Happy New Year!

[01/02/13]   2012 has been a great year. We started out the year with a vision from our Pastor that it would be a year of "Growth In Fruitfulness." It was truly that. We've come together as a family like we never have before. This ministry is one that is truly needed in the KOG. The sheep of this ministry have had a year trials and tests and we've come out of 2012 triumphant and testifying about the wonderful shepherd of this house and of the greatness of our Lord and Savior. God is real, He yet lives and is the true light of the world. Here are some highlights of the year 2012: Under the direction of our Pastor and support from the members, we changed Districts within COGIC, we gained 8 new members in our ministry but more importantly, 3 of them were new souls into the KOG, a new job, with benefits, for someone who’s been trying for years, 3 new cars and one new home, 3 new babies, 1 new business, 4 successful surgeries, 1 high school student accepted into college, the first in her family, 5 car accidents with every single person walking away with no life-threatening injuries (praising God as I write this). It’s not about the physical things gained but what they represent. It shows that God when you trust and believe in God, He will make a way out of what we think is no way. This signifies our spiritual maturity and growth. And last but not least, our page has grown and reached more people. We thank all of you who fellowship with us via this avenue. We hope that we can continue to encourage and inspire you to love God and trust in Him. Please continue to share our page. Thank you and God bless!

[12/31/12]   Good morning sheep of the Good Shepherd! It's such a glorious day. This is the last day of 2012. Out with the old ~ in with the new! NLM is moving forward and we're in expectation of great things to come. If you're ready to move forward with NLM, join us for our corporate fast & consecration from Jan 7th - Jan 28th. You can partake of the Daniel's, Full/Absolute or the Partial Fasts. You may eat between the hours of 3pm - 8pm on the Daniel's. Remember, you cannot fast without praying! You should have a purpose for your fast. Be realistic and true to yourself and God. Don't broadcast your fast, the enemy can get stupid and he is clever. He'll present to you the very thing you're trying to move away from. He'll make it look, taste, smell & feel better than before. But you, we, are victorious! YOU CAN DO IT. GOD BLESS AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

[12/09/12]   "A Down Low Situation", Acts 3:6-7... A lame man brought to the church everyday to beg. "They" left him outside the church but never took him in the church. Sounds like "they" liked to see a man down in his situation. Anybody in your life that like to see you lame, down, don't wanna see you know better than you are? If so, "they" need to get the steppin. You gotta be the one to send them on their way. Who are the "they's" in your life? You don't need them to see you better, you gotta trust in God and see yourself better, see the destiny God has for you. Where are "they" when everything is good or when you decide to take a different path that will lead you in a better direction? Stop giving them your power, and "they" never empower you. Hallelujah! This was Sunday dinner and Monday lunch. Lady Moye' loves to feed you and she'll do so again on Tuesday at D.A.P. Much thanks to God for such an awesome woman he's molded.

[12/02/12]   Correction: The Lame Man Healed, Acts 3

[12/02/12]   "There's Tragedy at the Temple" was the topic of discussion today at New Life Ministries. Pastor Moye' broke it down. The lame man healed (Acts 1:8). Every day he went begging for money at the temple and he got it. But on this day, he got something different. His tragedy turned to triump! You can move tragedy out of your life, too. If you don't change your mind, you will always think the same way. Has that been working for you? The lame man got more than what he expected, and we,too, must expect more - from God. We got covenant with God through our Father Abraham. God wants to bless you abundantly. Go ahead and praise God now, give him the glory for what is yet to come.

[11/22/12]   "It only takes one smile to offer welcome...and blessed be the person who will share it.
It only takes one moment to be helpful... and blessed be the person who will spare it.
It only takes one joy to lift a spirit... and blessed be the person who will give it.
It only takes one life to make a difference... and blessed be the person who will live it." ~A. B.

[11/22/12]   Happy Thanksgiving to sheepfold of NLM and your families, and to the families of our covenant partners, followers and friends. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. Let's be sure to praise God as David did, saying,
"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.

Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name."
1 Chronicles 29:11-13 (KJV)

[11/15/12]   Happy Thursday faithful followers... Hope to see you in prayer this eveing at 6pm sharp; followed by bible at 6:45pm. If you haven't been coming, you've missing out on some awesome teaching. We're discussing relationships, most importantly, the one we have with God. It started here in bible study, then food for thought and message on Women's Day, then in Diamonds & Pearls! God is talking to YOU! Are you listening to what He has to say?

[11/09/12]   Bbile Study was good tonight. In Pastor's absence Lady discussed Relationships. Every relationship shiould start with God. For us to have healthy relationships with others, we must first establish and maintain a healthy relationship with God. Still trying to figure out why all those relationships went to pieces?

[10/28/12]   NLM would like to thank everyone that made our festival a success. We thank Regent Park for their partnering with us and allowing us to minister in their community. The tenants received us and we all had a great time together. Thank you to all new life members who made this festival a success; whether it was candy you donated, setup/breakdown/move equipment, spearheaded the games, cooked phone, served food, work tables, allowed use of your grills/cars, we appreciate every part you played in this. We thank State Farm agent Marion Hanna for donationg items for our bags. and last but not least, we thank Pastor Moye' for allowing us to have this festival!

2012 Fall Fall sponsored by NLM (10/27/12)

2012 Fall Fall sponsored by NLM (10/27/12)

[10/28/12]   Church was awesome once again. Pastor Moye' laid out the plan. He made it plain. Keep these 4 points in mind: (1)God has a plan for your life, (2) It's official, (3)Trust the plan, (4) Experience success! In order for you to have success you must remain focused. You cannot allow distractions to get you off course. There are some things, some people you must let go of and get away from. Sometimes, when you move, you got to move by yourself. God is there with you along the journey!

[10/25/12]   Good morning faithful facebook followers. Just wanted to let you know that we will not have bible study tonight. Instead, we will be preparing for our Fall Festival. It will be this coming Saturday, October 27th from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Come join us at Regent Park

[10/22/12]   New Life Ministries' family, friends and covenant partners are being called for a time of prayer. A very dear friend of NLM, Pastor James White, of Rhema Christian Center has been hospitalized. Let's bombard the heavens for this great man of God; Pray without ceasing.

[10/19/12]   Bible study was wonderful tonight. We had plenty of fun while learning. We started with a review of Adam, Noah, Nimrod and then Abraham. It was awesome! We got excited realizing what God has for us. He told Abraham that all the land he can see and walk it will be given to him and his seed, forever. I AM THE SEED OF ABRAHAM and so are you. We can have what God has for us but we gotta walk by Faith like Abraham did and as Pastor Moye' says, "You gotta see it before you see it or you'll never be able to see it." Continue your walk by faith.

[10/16/12]   R.A.M tonight at 6:30pm. Men and young boys come out ot join us tonight!
