Encouragement and prep for Sunday morning. Here is what you need to do at home to be ready.
[03/23/20] I am so blown away by how well our Worship time went yesterday! A great big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen from praise team, to sound booth, to video, and ushers. A huge WELCOME to everyone who watched and 'tuned in'! We were joined by folks from Florida, to New York, to Kentucky, to Ohio, and all the way to Washington State. The last I checked our service had been viewed over 300 times. And the biggest, awesomest, and most deserved gratitude is to Jesus who is the reason we all gathered across space and devices, who will see us through this time, until we can all gather together again to lift up His praise. See you all right here on Wednesday night at 7 PM for Bible study, and on Sunday at 10:30 am for worship. God bless you all, and keep you safe in His hands!
FYI: Sunday School is cancelled for the duration of the quarantine. We will still meet for Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30 AM for everyone who wants to attend. If you are self quarantining you can still participate in worship Live by returning to this page on Sunday Morning at 10:30.
We will also not be meeting at the Church for Wednesday Bible Study, but we will be meeting here on Facebook Live for Bible Study at 7 PM. Just return here and join in!
If you have any needs during this time, please call Pastor Joshua, text, or message me through Facebook, so that we can respond to your need. A few people have already volunteered to be available should the need arise. It is important that we take care of our health during this time, but we must not choose to abandon each other. If you are feeling lonely, secluded, or depressed, please reach out to others through the many incredible ways that technology affords us to stay connected while preserving a healthy distance. Remember, you are loved, you are not alone, and I am praying for you.
I Peter 5:6-11 - 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
