Bible Students Disciples of Christ www.bible-research.org We are not a part of any organized religion but are rather a small group of people who are searching out the truth that is found in God's word--the Holy Bible.
We are trying to show others the things we have been allowed to learn. We come from varied backgrounds, and range in age from young to old. Many of us were formerly affiliated with one or another church/religious organization, but we were dissatisfied with the religions and felt we were never given answers to the things we questioned in the Bible. Others of us never cared for the churches at all and -- at first -- equated the Bible with just "some other religion." But each of us at some point developed a curiosity to find out what was written in the Bible. With continued research of the scriptures, it becomes very evident that what's taught by the various religions and Christendom denominations is a far cry from what's learned from God's true word.
Mission: We are running to be a part of the Government of Jehovah God. We have learned that this new government will take care of people that will live in the new system. We are informing people about the new system--the new government--and show them, through the scriptures, how they can study to become a part of this new government. We point out facts of the Bible that are not taught by organized religion. We are given the information free, and are passing this information on to anyone interested in learning from the true ministers in the Bible, who are chosen and ordained by Almighty God, not by other men (Galatians 1:1). We can show you how to find the information we have learned at no cost to you, just your time and willingness to research. By obeying God, through His information in the Bible, we have learned that we can be allowed to enter into this new government.

"3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.
4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.
5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:
6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.
8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.
10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister[c] lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.
11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them." 1 John 2:3-11 NIV
[06/14/20] "Remember this! In the last days there will be many troubles, 2 because people will love themselves, love money, brag, and be proud. They will say evil things against others and will not obey their parents or be thankful or be the kind of people God wants. 3 They will not love others, will refuse to forgive, will gossip, and will not control themselves. They will be cruel, will hate what is good, 4 will turn against their friends, and will do foolish things without thinking. They will be conceited, will love pleasure instead of God, 5 and will act as if they serve God but will not have his power. Stay away from those people." (1 Timothy 3:1-5 NCV)
[06/13/20] “Serving God does make us very rich, if we are satisfied with what we have. We brought nothing into the world, so we can take nothing out. But, if we have food and clothes, we will be satisfied with that.” 1 Timothy 6:6-8
[06/06/20] “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. 37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. 38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak. 39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” Luke 12:35-40
[06/04/20] “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing." -1 Peter 3:8-9

Save me, Lord, because the good people are all gone; no true believers are left on earth. Everyone lies to his neighbors; they say one thing and mean another. The Lord will stop those flattering lips and cut off those bragging tongues. They say, “Our tongues will help us win. We can say what we wish; no one is our master.” But the Lord says, “I will now rise up, because the poor are being hurt. Because of the moans of the helpless, I will give them the help they want.” The Lord’s words are pure, like silver purified by fire, like silver purified seven times over. Lord, you will keep us safe; you will always protect us from such people. But the wicked are all around us; everyone loves what is wrong.

Do you like the slower pace things are in right now? Do you have more time to ponder things. The Apostle Paul wrote, how to run in a way that we will obtain a crown of life.
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” -1 Corinthians 9:24-25
People are often devoted to a cause, a vocation or even to a major athletic goal. It becomes the driving force in their life.
Do you have this same driving force (passion) towards something that will last forever?”
The one thing that needs to remain a constant is serving our Creator and His Son and learning what they have to teach us and putting those things into practice. If we run only half-heartedly, we might end up losing the race and that is a scary thought!
But if we run with sincere devotion, we can expect to be given what is the ultimate prize that mankind can receive… Something we don’t want to ever slip away!
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” -Heb. 12:1
It's comforting to know we are in good company with others in the race, both those who have gone before and those who are running the race now. It's our race, but it's great to have everyone helping each other out! Something to be very thankful for!
“Let everyone see that you are gentle and kind. The Lord is coming soon. Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God’s peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I am very happy in the Lord that you have shown your care for me again. You continued to care about me, but there was no way for you to show it. I am not telling you this because I need anything. I have learned to be satisfied with the things I have and with everything that happens. I know how to live when I am poor, and I know how to live when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of being happy at any time in everything that happens, when I have enough to eat and when I go hungry, when I have more than I need and when I do not have enough. I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength.”

Good News: A Renewed Earth
The news and media have reported very clearly that the earth is in trouble. Problems vary from disease, climate change, war, racism, and government corruption. Will the earth survive these problems? Today the state of the earth is sobering, but there is comfort in knowing what God has written in the Bible about what will happen to the earth. He will prevent man from destroying it and will renew the earth to become a paradise for people to live in.
The creation of the earth was described in the first chapters of Genesis. The earth and its inhabitants were made and it was a good thing in the sight of God "And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." (Genesis 1:31) However, through greed and lack of respect for God's creation, mankind has proceeded to abuse the resources God has so graciously given mankind to live off of. Fortunately by God's grace, the earth will be saved from mankind’s destructive ways.
Can you imagine a perfect earth with peace for all those that inhabit it, and all people living forever with no more growing old or suffering? It has been promised if you believe the Bible is true. Satan will be gone, as told in Revelation 20:3 "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more,..." The wicked oppressing people are all gone per Psalm 37:9-11: "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
A Renewed Planet!
Ecclesiastes 1:4 Generations come and go, but the earth will remain forever.
Psalm 37:9-11, 29, 34 The meek (gentle) people will inherit the earth and live on it forever.
Isaiah 2:2-4 People will serve one God and will no longer wage war.
Isaiah 35:4-7 No physical disabilities will exist for humans on the renewed earth - new earth.
Isaiah 65:21-25, 17 The earth will be renewed, no one will labor in vain, everyone will live peacefully.
Revelation 21:4-5 All made new - no more wicked and no more sorrow, pain or death.
As we continue into this "new abnormalcy", it is always helpful to meditate on things that can bring us peace of mind.
Here are a few verses to contemplate.
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows...
But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom." -Luke 12:6-7, 31-32
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge."
-Psalm 46:1-2, 10-11
And now a message of serenity from our loving Father and His Son who are always there for us, no matter where the road takes us or how strange things get...
"Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength."
-Isaiah 26:2-4 (NKJV)
"For it is the God who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair." -2 Corinthians 4:6-8
