[06/24/20]   Pastor time: Tonight let us talk about YOUR happiness. Let us talk straight.
Here is a key. YOUR HAPPINESS is NOT somebody's else responsibility. YOU are accountable for your own happiness. Too often we are counting on other people to FIX us. Someone else to cheer us up, encourage us, make us feel good about ourselves.
YOU are putting too much pressure on the people in your life. Let them off the hook. Nobody else can keep you fixed except Jesus. Don't go to get from people what only God can give.
Why do some people who loves you keep getting frustrated with you? Simple, you keep expecting them to do what Jesus wants to do for you. They are not God. They cannot fix you. When you grown up and become spiritually mature with Jesus, your happiness will arrive because you will know being happy is between Jesus and you. Take responsibility for your own happiness. Remember we are COMMANDED by the Holy Spirit to "Rejoice because of the Lord, and again I say Rejoice!"
The responsibility for your HAPPINESS is between you and God. Nobody else is accountable for making you happy.
And God isn"t as concerned about your happiness as The Great I AM is about YOUR obedience. Are you being loving and kind and full of patience? Are you sharing Jesus' good news? Is being of Christ's Mission what matters most to you daily? YOUR happiness is self-centered. Obedience to God is centered on you serving others. Yout happiness is nobody's responsibility but your Nd God. If there are others assisting you to be happy, what a great bonus of gratitude that should be.!!!

[06/18/20]   Pastor time:
"REJOICE ALWAYS, pray without ceasing, give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for YOU" 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
Making choices to Trust Jesus, to rejoice, to praise God in every situation is more than a one time thing.
Trusting God is a process –a series of choices– not a one-time event. It is more than just "being saved" or "being baptized". Every hour and every day, God invites YOU and ME to trust Jesus and allow Jesus the Christ to lead us, equip us, and guide us with the grace and strength we need. JESUS Is faithful and patient. Jesus understands we have to PRACTICE choosing to REJOICE and TRUST in Jesus and this is why God invites us every hour, every day, and in every circumstance to practice making the CHOICE to REJOICE in the Lord. Practice makes us so good at choosing to rejoice that eventually no circumstances or person can steal our joy
Show up for practice tomorrow, God will be inviting us every hour to CHOOSE to REJOICE and TRUST IN JESUS. Practice requires effort SHOW UP tomorrow to practice Rejoicing and Trusting in God in many different circumstances. Soon you can become a SUPERSTAR of rejoicing and trusting.

[06/13/20]   Pastor time: Tonight we are going to talk about Jesus and how by Christ"s power we can love others and love everyone. Before we start, pause and PRAY asking God to speak to your soul.
NOW SINCE YOU pray, I want to share with you that for me ALL THINGS GOOD ever in my life has been because of Jesus' love.
Jesus is the one who gave me purpose.
Jesus is the one who healed me countless times. Jesus is the one who restored me each time I was broken.
Jesus is the one who called me.
Jesus is the one who sent me.
Jesus is the one I seek so hard to serve.
Jesus is the one I proclaim with all my witness.
Jesus is the power of real pure unconditional love.
It always was Jesus. It always will be Jesus. I love Jesus and am not ashamed to try to follow Jesus.
Remember in the name of Jesus, WE ARE in the image of our Creator, who loves unconditionally. So we are to love with the same love which God has loved us. Categorically, love at its truest, deepest form, is never earned, it’s given. GOD SO LOVED, that the begotten one, Jesus, was GIVEN.
Give love to everyone, everytime in everyplace. Yes we can do this by the power of Jesus the Great Love Given and Giver.

[06/11/20]   Pastor Time:

PASTOR TIME: Be happy as Jesus is on the scene.
Although things all around us may change, Jesus never changes. Jesus is the hope we have as an anchor for our souls.
God remains MADLY in love with YOU. Remember, Jesus understands what it’s like to be overwhelmed. He sweated blood in the garden begging God to let the cup of suffering to past from him. So take comfort when life gets heavy and stuff keeps piling up. We got a Lord and Savior who understands fully how you are feeling.
Even when our hearts become overwhelmed, we can have joy, peace, and strength through Jesus Christ. He is with you always. You are never alone.

[06/10/20]   Pastor Time:

PASTOR TIME: I'm here tonight for one reason only. This reason is to point you to the only answer we have ever had in human history and the answer is Jesus.
This bible verse points to this also
"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the source of my salvation, my stronghold in the time of trouble." (Psalm 18:2)
Jesus got a great plan for you BUT we keep getting in the way by looking for answers everywhere but Jesus.
Here is the question for you to think about and I mean YOU REALLY DO need to think and pray about it.
WHAT Is that something or WHO is that someone you really need to release to prepare the ground of your heart for what God wants you to receive so you are ready to find the Holy answer you need? Hugs

Elisabeth Elliot Quotes

There was once a group of women studying the book of Malachi in the Old Testament. As they were studying chapter three, they came across verse three, which says: “He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.” This verse puzzled the women, and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God. One of the women offered to find out about the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible study.

That week this woman called up a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn’t mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot – then she thought again about the verse, that he sits as a refiner and purifier of silver. She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered “Yes”, and explained that he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left even a moment too long in the flames, it would be damaged.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, “How do you know when the silver is fully refined?”

He smiled at her and answered, “Oh, that’s easy. When I see my image in it.”

If today you are feeling the heat of this world’s fire, just remember that God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are refining you. "You are predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ."
