Sorry for the delay. I thought this posted yesterday, but I guess it didn't. Anyway, here's yesterday's "On the Porch with Pastor"
Here is a direct link to Pastor Eric's article!
lightandlifemagazine.com More than 17 years, that is the amount of time I have been free — free from a sin and a bondage that the church feels odd talking about. While we focus on the “big sins,” we often avoid the sins and struggles that plague the church. Maybe it’s because it hits too close to […]
Check out this months edition of The Light and Life Magazine, which features an article from our very own Pastor Eric Harmon! Great job Pastor Eric!
This month's issue of LIGHT + LIFE focuses on Sanctified Sexuality. "If we are living a sanctified life, we should not be ashamed to reveal where we stand on key issues of our day - including sexuality." Read more of, "A Timely Topic," written by Jeff Finley by visiting https://buff.ly/2KBofSU.
Due to Pastor Eric being a little under the weather, we've decided to skip the Wednesday night "Pastor on the Porch" post, BUT we've got you covered though! We've pulled an oldie, but a goody out of the New Hope archives and uploaded it for tonight. We will continue this until Pastor Eric is back to a 110%. So, back by popular demand, coming to you from our old location on 7th Street where we were thin on numbers but big in Spirit!
Don't forget we're meeting at the church at 5:50pm for the drive by birthday honk. And PLEASE stay in your cars.

[04/24/20] I shared a devotion with the youth earlier tonight about the difference between reputation and integrity. In Luke 12:1-2 Jesus warned his disciples about the yeast of the Pharisees and that everything done in secret will be exposed in the end. The Pharisees were hypocrites, worrying about what other people thought of them and saying and acting however they needed to in order to appear righteous. Jesus knew what was in their hearts. He also knows what is in ours. Integrity has to do with how we act in private when people are not watching. We need to be concerned about our integrity and how God sees us, not other people. Integrity must come first and then a good reputation will follow. God sees our hearts, He knows what we are doing all of the time. We need to be found obedient to God and His Word. That is what truly matters. How is your integrity? I pray it is good. God bless!
[04/23/20] Due to technical difficulties, our nightly "Pastor on the Porch", has not been uploaded. As soon as the problems are corrected, they will be uploaded.
