This morning we were blessed by message from Brother Bob Motley, our wonderful Youth Director. The message, Easter's over, what now? He explained the Lord left the best part of himself behind, The Holy Spirit; to be our advocate, our helper, our friend, our guide, to live within us! What a wonderful blessing!

Don't forget the men's fellowship breakfast this morning at 7:30 in the church fellowship hall!

[03/20/19]   SPECIAL EDITION

We call you to prayer for the people of Mozambique. Late last week, Cyclone Idai moved through Mozambique and into Zimbabwe and Malawi. Information coming in has been delayed since most cell coverage has been down in the affected areas.

Bishop Pedro Moiane recently communicated that 90% of the city of Beira (population 500,000) has been destroyed. Beira is the city where the Free Methodist Church has a Bible school, high school, and multiple churches. We know that at least one pastor lost his home and more than one church lost their building.

The devastation is ongoing as rains are flooding the rivers and coming down toward the coast with entire villages being swept away. There is concern about access to clean water and the potential outbreak of cholera.

Pray for our churches, the high school, and the hundreds, if not thousands of Free Methodists in the wake. Pray for Bishop Moine who will attempt to travel to Beira tomorrow to assess the damage and lead possible relief efforts.

If you wish to assist with relief efforts, you may give through the Bishops' Crisis Response Fund (Note: Mozambique Cyclone Relief).

Due to the fridged temperatures, SOUP STOP will not be open on Wednesday January 30th.

Due to the fridged temperatures and the prospect of negative temperatures over the next few day, the board has decided to cancel Wednesday Night Bible Study. Please be safe, stay warm, and rejoice in the Lord in the comfort of you home! Wednesday Night Bible Study will resume February 6th.

Praise the Lord, today New Hope welcomed Austin Atrain Hackett into membership!

Good morning New Hope family. With road conditions spotty, black ice and mostly since our drive and parking lot at the church has not been plowed (with it's 7 1/2” of snow), I regretfully choose to cancel service today. I pray that everyone stays safe as the road crews continue to work on improving the roads. If there are individuals in the church that you have their number, please pass this on, since I don't have everyone's number. Thanks and Blessings, Pastor
