Our vision to see God at work around us, changing lives, growing families and reaching the next generation for Jesus Christ.

Welcome to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church! Life’s a journey. It comes with hills and valleys, twists and turns. Prince of Peace is simply a stop in the road to encourage you on this Christ-centered road trip. If you are looking for a community of fellow-strugglers with as many questions as answers, you’re on the right path. God has called POPLC to Empower Frontline Missionaries by strengthening families, encouraging spiritual growth and transforming communities. The Bible is our roadmap. Jesus is our guide. He leads. We follow. POPLC is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Mission: The mission of every Christian church is derived from the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) . . . And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” We are disciples, seeking to make disciples of others in our own community and around the world!

Lament - Day 6

Lament never leaves us where we are. It tunes our ears to not only har our pain, but to hear the pain of others. The good news is lament always points us to His victory and the hope we have in Christ.

Jeremiah 31:31-34

Do you need help loving your neighbor?

Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.” (Matthew 22:37-40 | The Message)

If you are struggling to love ALL of God's people, we encourage you to return to CHRIST, THE ONE who loves us and teaches us to love.

Family Devotion Week #9

The Church in Laodicea | Revelation 3:14-22

To help you and your family prepare for worship on Sunday June 14, this week's Faith at Home devotion focuses on Revelation 3:14-22.

Just like the churches in Revelation, believers are called to listen to the Holy Spirit for counsel, encouragement, and correction as we go about our daily lives.

Video by Jennifer Clark, Director of Kidz Time

Genesis 1:27:
So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Every single human being, must be treated with the dignity and respect that is due to God’s image-bearer.

We stand firm on the Word of God to love Him and LOVE EACH OTHER.

Lament - Day 1

Lamentations 1 & 2

Lamentations teaches us…
>About sin.
>To see and feel the suffering of others and how broken the world is.

Take some time to understand the pain and brokenness of other people. Take sin seriously in your life and the world. Be the person God has called you to be.
