I’m looking to purchase serger thread for friends and family for free face masks. I’ve tried to purchase though retailers but it’s been disappointing. If anyone has serger thread to sell please let me know, I’m looking for white, navy and black so I can continue to provide as many with masks as I can. God bless

Bent Tree is a non-denominational church, with campuses in Carrollton and Frisco, Texas.

Bent Tree is a non-denominational church with campuses in Carrollton and Frisco, Texas. Our passion is that we would experience the Life of Christ, as we fix our eyes on the sufficiency of Jesus' work, not our own efforts to please God.

Mission: Bent Tree exists to be used by God as He transforms people into disciples of Jesus, here and around the world!

Since we are receiving God’s unshakable kingdom, we can afford to let go of whatever is being sifted.

New Sermon Series | UNSHAKABLE | Since the pandemic, our everyday lives have been shaken. Yet, eternal realities stand firm, unshakeable—Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Faith, hope, and love remain. We live by faith, resting in Jesus, our sure foundation. We shine as lights of hope to people in darkness. We love others with Jesus’ extraordinary love.

JoAnn will be teaching this Sunday on the “Unshakable Kingdom.” Tune in on Facebook live or benttree.org/live-stream at 9 & 11 AM.

“As a believer, you are invited to live from him as your source — to abide (remain, stay) in your soul where you abide (reside, live) in your spirit, so that you experience the Life that is in you, the life you were made to live.

You will choose to abide (remain, stay) where you believe you belong. Remember, you belong to him because of his finished work on the cross, and you have been brought into union with him in your spirit when you put your faith in him by grace. You were made to belong in a deeply intimate relationship with Jesus. You are deeply loved by him.”

[Excerpt From “Christ in You: Alive & Free | Part 4: Abide | pg. 39]

As Jesus’ people, we are called to the equality, justice, and unity he created through the cross.

We value the opportunity to pray on your behalf.

You Cannot be Stopped by Phil Wickham & Chris Quilala, led by LWW

With so much happening in our world right now, may we not neglect gathering together and worshiping our Savior. In the midst of a global pandemic that continues to linger on, escalating tension in our country, and unrest in our souls over injustice it is critical that we remain centered on Christ in our thoughts as we respond to him however he leads us to engage in our world.

Are you feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, hopeful, tired, angry, sad, confused, or exhausted? Don't disregard these feelings! Take some moments to sit with Jesus. Ask him to speak into these places and ask him what he would like to do to express his Life and love through you to the world around you.

Jesus, the One who cannot be stopped, is the mover of mountains and the breaker of chains. Nothing can stand against him. He has triumphed over the grave. There is nothing too great, too difficult, too engrained, too powerful for him.

What might he want to do in your soul today? What might he want to do through your life in this world today? Let's walk this life of dependence together!

Prayer Gathering for our Nation

In light of the struggle for justice and equality happening across our country, praying is something we can all do. As those who live from Jesus, we can bring our pain, injustice, requests and questions to our heavenly Father. Tonight, we will have the chance to do this together at 7 p.m. at our Carrollton Campus on the International Pkwy side. You can also attend our prayer gathering via Facebook live at 7 p.m.

Bent Tree Live - 1st Hour

Join us this morning at 8:55 CDT for live worship and teaching from Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton, TX.

Unburdening Your Heart When Times Are Tough

benttree.org I felt like we were being slammed from all sides. Couldn't catch a breath it seemed. It left me exhausted and stressed. And then the other shoe dropped.

Our Bent Tree en Español family has seen their online service attendance quadruple during this pandemic. Many people are turning to God!
Our BTE members have been able to share the online services with their friends and family so we have people locally, in others parts of the US and all across Latin America tuning into the services! Praise the Lord!
Thank you Pastor Nando for your heart and how you have led during this time. We are so grateful for you!

So how do you produce fruit in your life? You don’t; you bear it. Jesus said this in John 15:4-6:

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”

How have you typically handled crisis in your life?

This past Sunday, JoAnn talked about crisis in the early church, and we will continue this coming Sunday talking about the life of Paul.

Watch the sermon from Sunday: benttree.org/sermon/part-1-christ-catalyzes-the-church-through-crisis/

Because Christ lives in you, you have become the physical hands, feet, mouth, face, arms, and even voice of Christ to the world around you! Consider these questions:

How you structure your time throughout the day?
What would it mean for you to live fully available to him in every area of your life?

You were made for more than living day-to-day, merely hoping that tomorrow is better than today, trapped by your circumstances and the demands of this world. You were made for more than living according to your own resources, building your own little empire, or existing for pleasure.

•What area(s) of your life do you need to offer to him right now?
•What would it mean for you to live fully available to him in every area of your life?

Praise Will Be My Song by Bryan and Katie Torwalt, led by LWW

Let's take a moment to remember the joy of our salvation together. In the midst of the confusion of our circumstances, the chaos of our surroundings, and the turmoil in our souls...

"For what we lacked
Your blood has covered
What we get is what You paid for
'Cause through Your death our lives reborn
The joy of our salvation"

This is true for you and for me, for all who have been saved. We lacked life, righteousness, forgiveness, hope, peace, joy, love, acceptance, and rest. Jesus gave himself for us, that we could be brought to Life in him.

"For in him we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17:28)

Get alone with him for a little time to worship and pray, and may praise be your song.

Have you watched the sermon from Sunday?
Let’s take a moment to dive deeper. Feel free to answer these on your own or comment with your responses!

• What evidence are you looking at in your life that might actually be eroding your faith?
• Is there an “anchor moment” that you can recall from your life that God used to build your faith back up?
• What is something that you’ve stopped praying for that the Spirit might be calling you to come back and pray for?

If you haven’t had a chance to watch the sermon yet, you can find it here: benttree.org/sermon/part-5-prayers-in-persistence/

JoAnn Hummel | 5/19 Devotional

JoAnn shares about what she's discovering about Jesus' heart towards you. As she found words that she wrote years ago, this stood out to her especially for this season of our lives, "nothing painful ever penetrates your soul to which Jesus was a stranger.

Jesus' heart is for you, always loving you. He's no stranger to pain, loneliness, loss, and suffering. He's also the "great high priest" that we find in Hebrews 4, who is able to empathize with our weakness.

The key to experiencing and expressing Christ’s life is trust. Answer these questions:

• When you think about your daily life, what are the areas where you are living independent of God?
• How different would your life look if you chose dependence on Jesus in each of those areas?

We loved singing this song yesterday.
It reminds us of the redemption we have in Jesus. He turns our mourning to dancing, gives us beauty out of ashes, turns our shame into glory and turns our graves into gardens. There is nothing better than Him. Amen.
