This Mother’s Day we honor and recognize the strength, courage and sacrifice of birth mothers. We must rally around these courageous woman who choose life in difficult circumstances, when other options may seem easier. Adoption isn’t a birth mother’s rejection, but an unconditional love that inspires her to put herself last and do all she can for her baby.

Gabriel Project wishes God’s greatest blessings on all Mothers and their families.

Jesus is always with us even if we do not recognize Him. May our hearts be open to listen to His Word. Gabriel Project will walk beside you to provide help and support with a difficult or unexpected pregnancy. For confidential assistance, call (866)444-3553 or go to

On behalf of St Theresa's Gabriel Project, we wish you and your loved ones a most Blessed and Happy Easter!

Easter is a time of great hope and the celebration of life renewed. As we celebrate that renewal, we will be thinking of and praying for unborn babies and their families that need assistance, that they may seek our support.

Let us enjoy and celebrate the wonderful gift of Life.

Beautiful prayer as we go through this unchartered territory in our world, but also resonates with anyone struggling with an unexpected or difficult pregnancy. Gabriel Project is here to help! For confidential assistance, call (866)444-3553 or go to

During these hard times, let's remember that today is a day of hope. Annunciation Day marks the incarnation of Jesus Christ. We are thankful for today and the rest of the days that will come.

O Blessed Mother, you received the good news of the incarnation of Christ, your Son, with faith and trust. Grant your protection to all pregnant mothers facing difficulties.

Guide us as we strive to make our parish communities places of welcome and assistance for mothers in need. Help us become instruments of God’s love and compassion.

Mary, Mother of the Church, graciously help us build a culture of life and a civilization of love, together with all people of good will, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life. Amen.

Today is the Feast of St. Joseph. Asking prayers for all husbands and fathers that they may find courage and strength to follow St. Joseph's holy example as the guardian of families.

Blessed Joseph, husband of Mary,
be with us this day.
You protected and cherished the Virgin;
loving the Child Jesus as your Son,
you rescued Him from the danger of death.
Defend the Church,
the household of God,
purchased by the Blood of Christ.

Guardian of the Holy Family,
be with us in our trials.
May your prayers obtain for us
the strength to flee from error
and wrestle with the powers of corruption
so that in life we may grow in holiness
and in death rejoice in the crown of victory.

In "The Gospel of Life" (Evangelium vitae), Pope John Paul II applauds the daily heroism of mothers who selflessly devote themselves to their children. This modern-day saint also highlights the unfortunate reality that “these heroic women do not always find support in the world around them.” He goes on to say, “On the contrary, the cultural models frequently promoted and broadcast by the media do not encourage motherhood. In the name of progress and modernity the values of fidelity, chastity, sacrifice, to which a host of Christian wives and mothers have borne and continue to bear outstanding witness, are presented as obsolete” (EV 86).

A culture that fails to truly value motherhood naturally becomes hostile to the gift of new life. When the Church compassionately serves mothers, it witnesses to the beauty of human life. There is a great need for real, tangible assistance for expectant mothers. Christ calls us to serve those most alone and in need. In a world that often turns it back on mothers who sacrifice so much of themselves, may we, the Church’s members, rise to help mothers in need of assistance and support.

Welcome Sweet Dennis, May our Lord look down upon you from Heaven above and always touch you with His Love!

Thousands came out today to March for Life again, this time in Richmond, Virginia. Despite less than ideal weather conditions — families, parishes, teens, people of all ages, races and religions came together as one family to support and defend those who cannot defend themselves. Bishop Burbidge opened the rally in prayer and encouraged the crowds and legislators gathered to uphold and defend the dignity of human life in the Commonwealth. We are the pro-life generation! @ Richmond, Virginia

Today was an incredible victory for Life! Despite pouring rain and less than ideal conditions, thousands showed up to March for Life in Richmond, to take a stand against abortion extremism in Virginia. We were blessed to stand beside our neighbors, the Catholic Diocese of Richmond and our friends at the Virginia Catholic Conference. #VAMarchforLife #Whywemarch

Hi All
I want to share this info with you. I was thrilled to have the Gabriel Project banner displayed at the "March For Life" again this year! With such gracious support from the Knights of Columbus, the Gabriel Project banner was able to spread some much needed community outreach. A good amount of Parishioners (some from out of town) also carried our posters. I have attached a few pics. Praise God...Such a great day!

Today we celebrate the Sanctity of Life, upholding the value of all human life from the moment of conception to the moment of death. Sanctity of Life Sunday is always observed on the Sunday closest to January 23, the day in 1973 when the Supreme Court handed down its decision which legalized abortion on demand in America.

With great joy, we announce the newest addition to the Saint Theresa’s Gabriel Project Family … A beautiful baby girl, Kalea, born Jan 2, 2020.

Just a reminder...March for Life is coming.

Dear Jesus, as You led the Three Kings to You by the light of a star, please draw us ever closer to You by the light of Faith. Help us to desire You as ardently as they did. Give us the grace to overcome all the obstacles that keep us far from You. May we, like them, have something to give You when we appear before You. Amen.
