Life Church Ministries

Life Church Ministries is a church that has been called by God to be fresh soil in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Our Beliefs - All of LIFE Church Ministries beliefs are grounded in sound doctrine of the scriptures, the Holy Bible. 1. The Bible is infallible and God Breathed; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2. Jesus Christ is Lord (Personal Relationship; Lord of Lord and King of Kings) Philippians 2:6-11 “Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” 3. Salvation (Faith and Confession) Ephesians 2:8-9 “8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Romans 10: 9-13 “9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 4. Discipleship/Relationship: (Study to show thyself approved) 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Exodus 9:16 “But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” 5. Transformation: Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh” Romans 12: 1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” . Our Values – LIFE Church values represent the Kingdom of God, through the local Church, to work outwardly for the betterment of humanity. LIFE Church is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, as disciples of Jesus Christ, by living our values in order to show others how to observe all the things Christ commanded us to do. (Matthew 28:20) - “…teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” 1. Love: Our focus is to imitate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to others as we have received the same from Him. John 13:34-35: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. 2. Community: We live and promote a spirit of unity within the community of believers while also embracing diversity of gifts and function within the Household of Faith, the Body of Christ to edify (encourage and strengthen) one another. Romans 12: 4-5 “For as in one body we have many members and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually members one of another;” 1 Corinthians 12: 6-7 – “And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.” 3. Service: We answer the call to serve our community in love and mercy toward those with varying physical & spiritual needs to bring the redemptive message of salvation. All the work Jesus did in the community always had a redemptive message for those who would hear and receive. We strive to not only to answer the physical need but the spiritual aspects of service in the community. Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. 4. Education: We empower others by educating them to understand that they were created to glorify God, so that they will not lack any good thing according to His promises. Colossians 1: 9-14 ….”and be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding so that they may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” 5. Giving: We strive to be faithful stewards of God’s blessings by giving back to Him and others in the areas of our time, talent & treasure. Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also;” I Peter 4:10 “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;” Acts 20:35 “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Mission: • Encounter GOD • Encourage a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. • Experience the Power of the Holy Spirit. • Edify the body through Prayer, Love, Faith and Hope

Why is it that we ask God for growth but get mad when it rains? #TGIF

"It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches." (Luke 13:19)

Just like plants need nourishment, so do we. How can we expect growth from a seed, if the soil hasn't been cultivated and watered? God will send storms of life to water and prepare us for blossoming into a season of bearing fruit and blessings.

You just have to the weather the storms. He never said it would last forever!

Scripture of the Month Week 4: THE TAKEAWAY 💭

I declare and decree a refreshing of your spirit today!

When the Lord shows up, He comes with everything you need — grace, mercy, provisions, restoration, revival and a refreshing!

“When you know who you are and whose you are, things are bound to change”

“When you know who you are and whose you are, things are bound to change”

From 2 Kings 20:1-6, we learn that there’s no identity crisis when you know who you are. You are a child of the King. You are God’s child. A joint heir of the throne.

When the battles and storms of life arise, it is crucial that you remind yourself who you are and whose you are.

When you don’t know whose you are, you don’t have any joy, peace or love, and you don't have respect for anyone or for yourself.

In your faithfulness to God and understanding that you are one of His divine creations, watch how things will change around you. You are covered by God!

expunged

“Why not you?”

A lot of times, we never get what we want because the motivation isn’t pure or the intention isn’t right. Payback is not what drives us.

Are your motives right? Does it lineup with the will of God or are you trying to prove others wrong?

From Romans 8:1-8, we learn to abort that mindset of condemnation. God has expunged your sins, but you keep reading the offenses. Why?

Don’t listen to what the enemy is telling your mind. God is saying you have another chance to do things right and carry out His will.

#TeachingTuesdays

Scripture of the Month Week 3: REMEMBER 🧠

There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh.

Once you’ve repented, walk in Christ — where there’s no guilt or shame. Your sins have already been forgiven!

Scripture of the Month Week 2: MEDITATE 🧘🏽‍♀️

This is your reminder to turn back to God if you allowed things or people to distract you from such an important relationship.

Remember: #Refresh and hit the delete button.

Our priority is to cultivate a relationship with God which brings us closer to His will for our lives. The closer we get to Him, the more clear our vision becomes.

Intention

“2020 Intentions”

Remember that 2020 is the year of expectation. Expect God to move in your life like never before.

From Acts 3:19, we learn you must be intentional. Intention is performing an action with purpose. The way you start it is usually the same way how it ends. When you’re intentional, you can go the extra mile. Everything you do in 2020 should be with intention.

Your intention should be not to give up this year. When you are intentional about living for God, He will align you with the right opportunities that will bless you.

Let’s be intentional about how we live this year.

Aren't you proud to be one of God's creations? #TGIF

Our Scripture of the Month: Acts 3:19

Week 1: PRAY 🙏🏽

Hit the #refresh button — 2020 is the start of a new decade. In order to start things over and get right with God, we must repent. We must ask our Father to forgive us of our sins, transgressions and iniquities. Repentance is surrendering it all to God, and it includes every single sorrow, wrongdoing or regret.

Let's use this New Year to make an 180 degree turn toward God.

Good morning, LCM Family — We are blessed to have you join us!

Here's to leaving 2019 in the past! #TGIF

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

No need to look back at 2019 — keep your eyes focused on the new year. 2020 is an entirely new book to fill with 12 chapters of progress. Even if 2019 wasn't your best year, don't let that hold you back. Be encouraged that it wasn't your final year.

God isn't finished with you. There's so much in store for your life!

Happy New Year from Life Church Ministries!

With another decade behind us, we begin a new chapter of promises and blessings from God. Let us all strive to be consistent in communicating with God — and not only when we need help — and being diligent in following His word.

Thank you God for allowing us to see another year! Are you excited about what's in store for 2020?

"You must watch your thoughts"

Good morning, LCM Family — We are blessed to have you join us!

It's the season of giving, and let's not forget the ultimate gift! #TGIF

It can be so easy to get caught up in the motions of shopping and the commercialization of "Merry X-mas," but we should not shy away from remembering the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus.

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: He shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21)

He was best gift to the world — bringing peace, love, joy, and sacrifice to cover all of our sins. A gift that cost us nothing but everything for Jesus.

promises

God continues to stick to His promises.

From Matthew 2:1-12, it was prophesied that a child would be born. A promise was made that a Savior would come, and he did — Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Don’t look at where you come from. Jesus had humble beginnings, and he’s living proof that when God has an assignment over your life, nothing can block or impede His plan.

Jesus’ lineage wasn’t the cleanest, so don’t you be ashamed of yours. He was the gift to the world to cleanse us all of our past, present and future shortcomings.

So why not give Him thanks for giving us a clean slate?

#ThursdayThoughts

Rejoice and be glad! Today is born our Savior — Christ the Lord!

Let us not forget that Jesus is the true reason, and the ultimate present to the world.

From the Life Church family to yours, we wish you a #MerryChristmas with endless love, joy and peace! ❤️🎄

outgrown you

Tell people who want you to conform to the world: “I’ve outgrown you”

From Romans 12:2, we learn that we are challenged to be acceptable and presentable for the King and nobody else.

It doesn’t matter if we don’t live up to anyone else’s standards.

If we live up to God’s standards to the best of our abilities, being a living sacrifice, then God will deal with the rest.

"Not This Time"

#SaturdayMessage: "The choices you make"

From Psalm 119:105, we are reminded how life has so many different paths. How do you know if you’re on the right path?

The “I’s” of life will take you down a road that leads to destruction. The “it seems right” and “everyone is doing it” mindsets will get you in trouble. Ask God to show you the right road to take.

If Heaven is your long-term goal, is your life manifesting your desire to carry out that mission?

Your motives should be to please God. How can you get to Heaven if you aren’t pleasing God?

Your intentions should be to show the world the love of Christ.

We have made it through yet another week — #TGIF!

Are you allowing God to lead you down the right path?

"Not Over"

Wake up: The year is not over

From Revelation 3:8, I dare you to continue to give God a mighty praise in this season of the last 4 weeks of the year.

We need God to move in this season right now. Why would you want to delay God’s deliverance and blessings until 2020?

You still have access to God’s blessings. Things are not over.

God is going to send you access directly to the place He’s leading you. But are you looking up and in the right direction?

We have made it to another #Thanksgiving season — what are you thankful for this year? #TGIF

Starving

A #Thanksgiving message: “Whatever you do, give thanks”

From Colossians 3:1-17, we learn that whatever you do, do it all in the name of the Lord with thanksgiving.

This year, let’s take a different look at what you’re thankful for. Instead of going around the table and asking: “What are you thankful for?” Let us stop and answer the question: “Who am I thankful to?”

Are you starving for God or for earthy things? What is really feeding you? Some of you may enjoy a hearty #Thanksgiving spread but will still be spiritually hungry or unsatisfied.

The only person to fill that void is Jesus. His love is all you need.
