Hello BCC! We wanted to update you on our Haiti Mission Team. As you know, the plan was to leave Friday for Haiti. But the situation has become very volatile with rioters shutting down the roads and gas shortages. The team was advised to delay travel. The new dates to go and install solar panels at the orphanage are November 9-13. God, in His economy, made the change of dates actually save money! How that happened is truly miraculous. Thank you so much for your generous donations. We are still looking forward to taking them to the children soon. Please join us in prayer for peace in Haiti. 🇭🇹 ⛪️ 💕
Great article about how religion is beneficial to our children:

BCC is a church that seeks to find God's insights into the challenges that we face today. You will find a friendly group of people who believe that Christianity holds the insights to these challenges.

BCC has a vision of "Easy - Easy" in regards to Community outreach. It is easy to ask/invite and its easy to go. Our Annual Events consist of the following: Vacation Bible School Easter Egg Hunt Candlelight Christmas Eve Service

Mission: We are a Christ-centered church built on the Biblical principles of Salvation, Freedom, and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, where home groups are an integral part of our Christian community. Our vision is to participate in Christ's redeeming work by bringing people to salvation in Jesus Christ and then leading them into a growing relationship with Him. (Acts 26:16-19)

As believers we have the full Biblical prophetic revelation that the Holy Spirit dwells within each believer that transforms our heart and empowers us. Plus, as believers we have the Bible in our hands which is the full prophetic revelation of God concerning all things. Therefore, all believers can speak God’s Word which carries God’s power and authority. Thus, when we speak, “Whether people hear or refuse to hear, they will know that a prophet has been among them.”

[04/19/20]   We have things to do. John 14:12 (ESV)
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

BCC Live 3.0 is being rolled out!

The Resurrection is the cornerstone of Christianity. Anyone
who does not believe in the Resurrection of Christ is not a
Christian. Our belief in the forgiveness of our sins, the belief
in an afterlife, our belief in eternal life is tied totally to the
Resurrection of Christ.

[04/12/20]   We will be starting up the LIVE broadcast at 9:55. Audio will turn on at 10. See you there!

[04/12/20]   He is RISEN!!! Jesus is alive! Death is defeated! We live for eternity with Jesus! 1 Corinthians 6:14 (ESV) God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. Jesus said: John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. ... I go to prepare a place for you.

[04/12/20]   Join us tomorrow at 10:00 AM for Easter service! He is Risen!!!

[04/09/20]   After the President’s news conference was over, one of the reporters made the observation that for the first time in our nation’s history we won’t be celebrating Easter. Well let us tell you one thing, he’s simply wrong. We might not celebrate what Easter has become in that there may be no new clothes bought for that Sunday. We might not hide and hunt eggs in mass quantities. We may not travel home to attend church with our family. We might not see some folks at our worship services that we haven’t seen since Christmas, but we’re going to Celebrate Easter. As a matter of fact, every Sunday is Easter Sunday. Every time we assemble for worship we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pilate couldn’t kill Him and the grave couldn’t hold Him. You think the Corona virus is going to stop Easter. More people this year will hear the gospel than any other Easter before.

Easter is not just about special programs, although we will still have them at our church. It’s not about the trumpet call or the mass crowds. It’s the fact that we serve a living Savior who is still transforming lives today. Easter is not only about His resurrection, but our ability to rise with Him. Easter is about the hope of tomorrow and the gift of everlasting life. Yes indeed, we will celebrate. We’ll celebrate what God did for all of us at Calvary. How? By remembering Him. By loving Him. By worshipping Him. By praising Him. Easter for us is everyday. Let the celebration begin. Sing with us:

I serve a risen Saviour, He's in the world today
I know that He is living, whatever men may say
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer
And just the time I need Him He's always near
He lives (He lives), He lives (He lives), Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life's narrow way
He lives (He lives), He lives (He lives), Salvation to impart
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart

Do you feel alone, afraid, confused? God who formed this
earth and established it for HIS purposes knows exactly what
is happening and HE promises to take care of HIS people who
turn to HIM. When God’s people call to HIM, HE will tell them
great and hidden things that they never knew. Great things
meaning things that are beyond our human capacity; hidden
things meaning things that are only known by God HIMSELF.

Note - Starting next week, the notes should be on the website prior to the sermon

[04/05/20]   Nothing to fear an no reason to be confused. Jeremiah 33:2–3 (ESV)
2 “Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it—the LORD is his name: 3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

[04/03/20]   Join us on Facebook this Sunday at 10 AM. We will be broadcasting live!

Your roots grow deep where you are planted. In the world, they produce worldly attributes. But in the Lord, Deep Roots produce Trust and Confidence! Deep Roots belong to those who stand strong in the horrendous desert heat, wind, and drought. They stand strong because they draw nourishment from the deep things of the Lord. Fruit comes forth because of their Roots are Deep.

[03/26/20]   Hey all! Great response to our first BCC Live video. Our jumping into doing that was a little hurried(we decided to do it about 16 hours before the service! ). This weekend we will rollout BCC Live 2.0!

We rest in God in knowledge and without fear. We know God is moving throughout this entire world! Things are not out of control! And we can boast in Him!

The Live Video went well with one hick-up. Our A/V Team (Amir) is ready to ensure that BCC Live Video 2.0 will be even better!

[03/22/20]   Jeremiah 9:23 Boast in the Lord!

[03/22/20]   We have a special Word from Jesus today. Luke 12:32 (ESV) Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

[03/21/20]   Hebrews 10:25 - not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

We will be broadcasting the sermon live on Facebook and, as per our standard practice, posting it to the website and podcast. Our doors continue to remain open. We encourage you to engage with us online, stay engaged with your home groups and contact us in person Any time.”

Join us either at the church or on Facebook tomorrow. Facebook live will start when Wallace starts the sermon.

Remember - Wash your hands and God is in control.

Absolute Assurance; Our physical well-being and spiritual capacity come from Jesus and HIS Word alone! Therefore, we do not fear! We proclaim Jesus and Jesus alone!

[03/15/20]   Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters....."

There is safety, assurance and strength in belief in Christ!

[03/15/20]   Isaiah 59:1 (ESV) “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that HE cannot save, or HIS ear dull, that HE cannot hear!” No one has ever trusted God in vain. He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or think.

[03/08/20]   John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It is important to be teachable, because we can expect
moments in this life to be “walking in the darkness” of this
world. Then we will be faced with walking in faithful
obedience in this “darkness” leading to our vindication – or –
walking in the “light of our own self-will” leading to endless
miseries.

[03/01/20]   Our view of the Word of God, the Bible, determines the nature of our existence on planet earth.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 (ESV). We thank God constantly, that when you received the Word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it “not as” the word of men “but” as what it really is, the Word of God, which is at work in you believers.

It starts with trusting God. When we trust God and remember who He is, we realized that He is our strength. Then God can make us soar on wings of eagles!

God clearly says Read the Bible, Be devoted to Prayer, Be alert, and continue to do what we now, BUT God also says, “Listen to the Immediate and Direct guidance of the Holy Spirit.” Take note of the words Immediate and Direct! As we embrace all the disciplines and resources of God, we also must not neglect the Holy Spirit as revealed in Isaiah 30:21. NT revelation give us much more insight about the work of the Holy Spirit which is necessary for our Rest, quietness, Trust, and Strength.

God just wants us to trust in Him. When we focus on the trial, it appears big. When we focus on God, we realize that He is much bigger. Satan is a liar and wants us to believe that in the problem that we face that God can’t or won’t move in. But when we trust in God, we discover that it was our trust that was the issue, not the issue itself. And when we do trust, God can grant us perfect peace. (Note - Sermon broken into two parts due to file size)

To make the Finish Line, we need to understand the Race! The Bible reveals all we need to know about HIMSELF and what HE is going to do. However, the Jews had the OT but could not put all the pieces together. Even Jesus’ disciples could not put all the pieces together. It was after Jesus’ death, resurrection, and coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost that all the pieces of the puzzle could be put together. Now we have in our hands, the Bible, the completed puzzle; the full revelation of God.

Since God has told us what is good in the Bible, what does HE require of us or what is our requirement? Micah lists three requirements: do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with our God.

God-consciousness redefines urgency: “Do not call conspiracy all that people call conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear.” So many supposedly facts prove to be false or do not come to fruition. If we are continually moved by all of these, we are in constant turmoil. God’s people are not without fear, but our whole approach is different. Whatever the News, fake or otherwise, we see God at work in the events swirling around us, and through God we stabilize ourselves. - Note - Split into part 1 and part 2.

When we realize that our sins are against God alone and even for the smallest of them, He had to go to the cross, then we know that our heart needs to change and focus on Him alone, and that we are totally reliant on His mercy.

Due to inclement weather, the Ladies' Study for tonight has been postponed to next week. Stay Safe! God Bless!

It is not the circumstance that captures our attention; it is the complete amazement that God is present and our confidence the outcome is in God’s Hands. Therefore, we will rejoice and joyfully Watch and Be Amazed because our hope is from God.

Human understanding will never bring peace. People desire understanding (how to figure things out) so they can gain a sense of mastery over their lives. Because there is an endless series of problems, we are soon searching for our own endless understanding (mastery), instead of seeking God, (Our master).

[12/01/19]   There is protection under the covering of God. Psalm 91:4 HE will cover you with his feathers, and “under HIS wings” you will find refuge; HIS faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
