For the images represented in our logo, the first (and best-known) story is the visit of the Magi (or Wise Men) in Matthew 2:1-12. These travelers – the first outside Israel to discover Jesus – follow the star to find the child Jesus and his mother and discover a Jesus that is different from – and better than – what they were expecting to find, and the return to their homes “by another route,” as changed people.

Sunday Service - Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost

We are so excited to begin our weekly series to share the meaning behind our new logo. This week we will focus on the name of our church, which is featured prominately in the logo.

Our church is named “Epiphany” – an originally Greek word that refers to a “revelation” or a “moment of insight.” In Christian tradition, there are three Gospel narratives that are traditionally associated with Epiphany, and our logo reflects all three of these narratives.

Using these images, can you guess what these narrative are? Let us know in the comments below.

Sunday Service - Eighth Sunday After Pentecost

This Sunday we considered how we find God in the dark stories of the Bible, the news, and our own personal lives. After having some time to reflect, we want to know where you have seen God in the tough moments?

We hope that you will see God's presence in the difficult moments of your neighbors' lives so that you will know how to see Him in your own.

Feel free to leave a comment or reach out to us privately. We're always here to listen.
