This was a letter from Peter that depends on the letters that Paul wrote to the Romans and Ephesians. It was talking about the persecution in the form of social ostracism and harassment from people reacting to the lifestyle of Christians. Peter explains that we as Christians must stand firm in our faith of Jesus, despite our situation or circumstances that us as Christians are in. Don’t let what people say about you and your faith intrude into God’s plan for your life.

We must remember that when we have given our lives to Jesus, our lives are still not going to be easy at times. Our suffering shows that we’re God’s children. Peter and the early Christians were persecuted because of their faith in God. So those that are suffering in something in their lives right now, I urge you to pray and give it to God. Don’t let those fearful feelings get in the way of your faith and God’s plan for your life. Let all the control go to God and let Him mold your life according to His will for your life. May God bless you all and your families. May God bless you all and your families.

In the beginning of this chapter Micah is talking about how there is not one upright person that lives. That everyone is hostile in waiting to shed each other’s blood. We hunt each other down with nets and that both of our hands are skilled in doing evil (Micah 7:2-3). Remember that Christ did not come to make peace but to divide good from evil.

I want to encourage everyone to go out there today with this in mind. Is what you’re doing right now in this life pleasing to God? How do you know you ask? Dig into His word and see what God says about the things that you’re thinking of doing before you do it. Jesus loves everyone and He wants everyone to come before him and pray ask for forgiveness for the things that we’ve done wrong. We can’t be perfect and never will. That’s why Jesus came down to save us all from this sinful world. Remember that we must be kind and loving in how we approach the ones that we don’t agree with. Let’s go and be the best person that we can be today. May you all have a wonderful day. God bless you all and your families.

Here is an awesome example that sometimes God will let you go into a storm to test your faith. The disciple Peter stepped out of the boat when the disciples boat got brought into a storm and they saw Jesus on the water. Jesus called out to him to come to him. But because of Peter’s doubt he started to sink. He let his fear be bigger than his his faith and it allowed him to start sinking.

What storm or difficult situation do you face today? Maybe it’s just God allowing you to grow by getting to know yourself better through a difficult situation. Remember that it wasn’t until Peter took his eyes off of Jesus and put it on the on the storm that he started to sink. God wants you to keep your eyes on Him through whatever storm that you face today. Go out there today with this in mind; don’t tell God how big your storm is, tell your storm how big your God is and don’t loose your focus on Jesus if you’re in a storm right now. May you all have a wonderful day. God bless you all and your families.

What this verse here is saying is the start of of knowing that by God’s grace we can be saved by the belief in Jesus Christ. Does that mean that we’re to keep on sinning that the grace of God may increase? You’ll find out in the following verse that Paul writes is absolutely not. He states if you have died to yourself and your sinful ways by believing that Jesus is who He says He is.

Then how can you still keep on sinning? God will convict the heart of who He loves. This week as you go about your day imagine that every time you think about sinning, you’re crucifying Jesus on the cross again and again for your bad deeds. We can’t be perfect but we can strive to become as close to perfect as we can. That’s why Jesus came, to save us sinful people.
