[08/09/20] Good morning everyone!☀️ Please bear with us as we are having technical issues this morning. We’re doing our best to get the services to you, but you may experience delays and cut outs. Please be patient and try back again. 💻
This Sunday, join us for something a little different; The Gospel According to Calvin and Hobbes with Yo Snyder. Because, of course he would.
Please know that we are doing our best to create a safe, clean environment for you and your family when you are at church. We know that each person in our church family falls somewhere along the spectrum of attitudes toward COVID safe guidelines, from very cautious to not worried at all. Please give us and those around you grace as we figure out this new environment together. We are regularly reviewing government and health guidelines and we will make changes to our church recommendations as these change in the coming weeks, but for now...
Bring some coloring books... We will not have nursery or kids church. We invite you to have your kids sit with you in the main auditorium. Our services will be no longer than one hour, so bring the kids and don't worry if they make a little noise.
B.Y.O.C. - Bring your own coffee... we will not have coffee service in the lobby and we will not be handing out paper bulletins. We are trying to eliminate as many high touch areas wherever possible.
Be like Batman... please help us keep those at risk safe by following New Mexico state guidelines. We encourage you to wear a mask in all public spaces, but it is not required. However, our leaders and staff will all be asked to wear masks on Sunday mornings.
Keep it moving... please do not congregate inside the lobby or the main auditorium. If you would like more time to hang out with all of the people that you have been missing, we invite you to move it outside in the fresh air of the parking lot.
It's cool to be distant... please maintain at least 6 feet of separation between you and others outside of your family. Also, please no hand shakes, hugs, chest bumps, or knuckles. Friendly waves are always welcomed. We will have seats blocked off in the main auditorium to help maintain physical distancing during the service.
Squeaky clean... We will be disinfecting the church in-between services and again after our final service of the day. We will wipe down the restrooms, door handles, light switches, tables, and any other surface areas that were used. We will also have hand sanitizer through out the building for you to use and we encourage you to bring your own hand sanitizer or hand wipes. We also strongly encourage those in the high-risk, vulnerable population to stay home and worship with us online HERE. We ask that everyone who comes to in-person services at the church building practice the following health recommendations:
Stay home when you are sick. If you have had a fever of 100.4 or more in the past 48 hours, or if you have had any of the following symptoms, cough, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, muscle pain, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell, please stay home and worship with us online.
Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
We know that these are a lot of changes, but please know that there are some things that will not change.
What's the Same?
We will continue to have two services, 9:00a and 10:45a.
We will still worship together with live music.
We will continue to pray for each other.
And, we will continue to share the message of Jesus and His love for us.
We are committed to helping all of our church members however we can as we navigate this new situation together, so please let us know if you have any questions or if you need anything at this time - [email protected]. We love you all and we are here for you whether you join us in person or online.

This was a memorial outside the veteran's home where my dad spent his last days. The stone says, "The price of freedom is visible here." Truer words have rarely been said. It was an honor and a privilege to meet the brave souls there who had served their country, and it was heartbreaking to see the price they paid in doing so. Thank you all who have served, are serving, or were/are the family of a service member. The price is steep, but greatly appreciated.
Getting ready for our live Easter service pre-show. Tune in online at 9:45a for some fun! Happy Easter! #HeIsRisen
Join us tonight at 6:30p for an online Good Friday service.
Today is a time to remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Jesus endured the cross on Good Friday, knowing it led to his resurrection, our salvation, and the beginning of God’s reign of righteousness and peace.
Let's see your Palmjama Sunday photos! Post them here. 😆
This Sunday is Palm Sunday and we thought we could take this unique opportunity to join together for a little bit of fun by having a Palmjama Sunday! We are inviting you to wear your favorite pair of pajamas as you watch our church service online. You know you're doing it anyway!
Be sure to take a picture of you and your family in your pajamas and post it on our page or email it to [email protected]. We'll see you Sunday online at 10am!
Do you feel like you’re doing everything you can to stop worrying, but no matter how busy you stay, it’s not working? You’re going on long walks in the neighborhood, but you’re still anxious about what’s going to happen to your job. You’ve spent hours reading or watching tv, but you’re still worried about your family and how you’re going to keep them safe. Well, Jesus says stop and do nothing. He says he will take care of all of it. He is doing the work here, not us. We just have to come to Him and trust Him with our worries and our burdens.
God is a giver. He has the answers, and He has our back. Some things we just can’t do ourselves, but that is exactly how He designed it. For us to need Him. When we feel overwhelmed with what’s happening in our lives, our prayers need to be less about our situation and more about our trust in Him.
When you feel overwhelmed, try saying this prayer:
I come to You today, God, to ask for help. You are my everything. I need rest. I give You my worry. Take it. I accept Your peace, love, and understanding. Help me to turn to You and not to myself. Help me to stop doing and start trusting. Help me to wait on Your answers, because I know that they are good. Give me wisdom, hope, and peace. Thank you, God, for Your patience and grace. Amen.

Have you reached out to someone who needs your encouragement? Who can you help today?
It's hard to find peace right now in the midst of all the sickness happening in our country. But if we keep our eyes and our thoughts on God, He can still give us PERFECT PEACE. We trust that He is still in control. When you feel anxious, pray. When you feel sad, read your Bible. When you feel lonely, reach out to your fellow church members and encourage one another via text or phone. Focus on God and His word and we will get through this together.

The shepherd's rod and staff were used to help guide the sheep, much like God's word is used to guide us today. Now more than ever, we need to turn to God's guidance to find comfort. Read your Bible. Play worship music. Pray. Remember, God is still with us, even in the darkest of times.
