Mission: Holiday Park Church of the Nazarene is a Life-Saving Station. We pull men and women from the wreckage of sin and offer them new life and hope through Jesus Christ. The Holiday Park people in continually seeking a deeper relationship with God; have a burden for those not yet members of God's family; have a clear balance between reaching out to new people and nurturing those within the fellowship, restoring those that have gone astray, and take the initiative in meeting the needs of others. Our people, by seeking to know and serve God, through the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit, will be an influence in our community as to the reality of God.

[12/16/12]   Delivery of the Christmas Angel gifts was good. Didn't get to see the children due to them being out of town but I am glad we got to give them some gifts.

[08/17/12]   Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.

[08/13/12]   “Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strength.” ~ Corrie ten Boom

[07/02/12]   Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105)

[06/28/12]   Proverbs 19:2
2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.

[06/26/12]   Luke 10:30-37 “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

YES, GO AND DO LIKEWISE!! HAPPY TUESDAY.

[06/25/12]   I heard this on the radio yesterday: "God will not deliver us from what He can perfect us through." Sometimes our suffering feels everlasting and pointless. Always remember, God is holding us through our storms and building up something we need for our future. Eternal Life. Happy Monday and Jesus Loves YOU!

[06/21/12]   REMINDER: All ladies invited to the church tonight at 7pm for a very informal get together. Finger food and fellowship.

[06/21/12]   “Most people, if they had really learned to look into their own hearts, would know that they do want, and want acutely, something that cannot be had in this world. There are all sorts of things in this world that offer to give it to you, but they never quite keep their promise." ~C.S. Lewis

[06/20/12]   When we tell someone that we will pray for them we are agreeing to put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6) and head to the front lines of battle on their behalf.

[06/19/12]   Hit LIKE if you will trust Jesus through the dark circumstances you face this week!

[06/01/12]   June 23rd we will be having a yard/parking lot sale at the church. If you would like to donate items to sell bring them to church or email Amiee @ [email protected].

[05/31/12]   "Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God." ~ Ephesians 3:17-19

[05/30/12]   "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

[05/29/12]   The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God's help be encouraged.

~ Psalm 69:32, NLT
