"IT IS BETTER TO STORE YOUR TREASURES IN THINGS ETERNAL"
Naked a man comes from his mother's womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes NOTHING from his labor that he can carry in his hand." Ecclesiastes 5:15 (read all of chapter 5).

"RENEW YOUR LIFE BY RENEWING YOUR MIND "
Do not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect WILL of God.“ Romans 12:2 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5 In plain English... don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let GOD TRANSFORM YOU INTO A NEW PERSON BY CHANGING THE WAY YOU THINK. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Change your mind in a manner that is suitable or proper for the circumstances through God's Word and by His Holy Spirit in you, by acting appropriately. When you sin, confess and repent. When your mind changes, you are essentially different and more like Christ. Paul explains what is meant by "the mind that is in Christ Jesus." Who, being in very nature God did not consider Himself equality with God; something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness and being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient unto death... even death on a cross! Paul positions Jesus before us as the example of the type of attitude and mindset we should have: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” “In your relationships with one another, you must have the same mindset as Jesus Christ.” Ok, you say... how exactly do I go about obtaining the mind of Christ? To have the Mind of Christ is the real experience of spiritual maturity. You must first establish a relationship by receiving Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life. You must maintain a relationship with Him to abide in love and peace in your heart. No matter the circumstances you must walk in the mindset of faith in Him.

"CHANGE"
Are you looking to change up your life with some drastic new beginnings? For some of us, change of any kind can be intimidating or even devastating, for others adventurous and exciting. Change is inevitable sometimes positive and sometimes negative. We are creatures of habit by nature, so it can take a little persuading to stimulate us to make a big move. The one place that is always a sure thing and source of encouragement is God’s Word. The Word of God has so much to say on the goodness and positive side of change. The awesomeness is that even though we encounter difficult times, God’s presence is with us every step of the way. Let us always remember that we have a God who loves us and wants the best for us. All that's required is for us to look through His word and He will offer us direction and guidance through uncertain times. He will give us insight on getting through these trying times. God's Word is eternal and it contains 7,000 promises to cover any circumstance you'll ever face. And, no matter what happens in this changing and shifting world we live in, His promises will forever be the same. “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

"LET'S TALK ABOUT CHURCH GROWTH"
Are you a Pastor or a member of a church that has not seen growth for sometime? Whether you are the pastor or the member you should be alarmed if this is the case!!! We are all in this together and with each passing day and no new church attendance, means there are no lost souls being saved. The mission of the church throughout the centuries has been a mission focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ that souls may be saved. "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15. So we have to ask the question... might the pastor and even church members be the reason for the lack of church growth? We must take time and responsibility as the body of Christ to discuss the pressing issue at hand. Healthy plants grow and as such healthy churches also grow. It is a quality manifested by God's supernatural power into all living things... and the body of Christ, the church is or should be living.... We must first identify the problem for the lack of growth, non-growth being a symptom and not the problem. Only when the reason(s) for non-growth are identified and eliminated, then we will experience growth. Some obstacles to keep in mind, which will give us a better ability to turn things around are:
>The Pastor... his lack of vision and lack of priority outreach plan. Perhaps lack of ministerial staff? If a church is to be successful the pastor must have a team helping Him, as he cannot do it alone. Without priority for reaching people the church will not grow. There are many pastors who are good spiritual leaders but simply have never learned the principles of church growth.
> Church members... There are many capable members ministering in non-growing churches where the reason for non-growth is in the church pews. Church members that don't have personal conviction for reaching lost souls. Someone or something else is always their priority... but only God knows the hearts of His people.
> Lack of discipleship... teaching members how to share the Gospel to non-believers, teaching them about loving God, loving others, standing out, denying themselves, deep understanding of God's word, fellowship with brothers and sisters of the faith, steadfast, and investing in God's work.
We can go on but the point I am trying to make is that we need to actively work together in our church to make things happen they will not happen by us just sitting and watching. Definitely we must not forget to pray for each other and study our Bible everyday.
"Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." Acts 2:47. "Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near."Hebrews 10:25.

"KNOWLEDGE OF GOD BRINGS ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY"
It had been better not to have known Christ because knowledge of Him brings accountability and responsibilities with never ending spiritual warfare. However, in light of these things, we still have to have as our statement of faith, “I CAN'T EVER TURN BACK!” It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them... 2 Peter 2:21. I will listen to what the Lord our God will say; He promises peace to His people, His saints but let them not return to folly... Psalm 85:8. "But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done prior will be remembered... because of his unfaithfulness, he is guilty of the sins he has committed, he will die... Ezekiel 18:24. It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are CRUCIFYING THE SON OF GOD ALL OVER AGAIN and subjecting Him to public disgrace... Hebrews 6:4, Hebrews 6:6. The Christian life is not always an easy road... sometimes we get off track. The Word of God tells us to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ DAILY so that no one turns back to the world of sin from the living God. If you have found yourself turning back, or drifting away from the Lord, this guide line will help get you back on track today. Examine your faith life regularly.... examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS IN YOU, unless, of course, you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5. If you find yourself drifting away, turn back immediately... see to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God... but encourage one another daily, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's of deceitfulness... Hebrews 3:12-13. Come to Christ daily for forgiveness and cleansing. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness... 1 John 1:9. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city... Revelation 22:14. Continue daily seeking the Lord with your whole heart. and you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind your thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but IF YOU FORSAKE HIM, HE WILL REJECT YOU FOREVER... I Chronicles 28:9. Stay in the Word of God; keep studying and learning daily. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life... Proverbs 4:13. Stay in fellowship always with other believers. AS A CHILD OF GOD YOU CAN NOT MAKE IT ALONE. We need the support, strength and prayers of each other... and let us not neglect our assembling together, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near... Hebrews 10:25. For we know that Satan never rests seeking whom he may devour. Stand firm in your faith, expect difficult times in YOUR WALK WITH CHRIST, for we know it is not easy and IS THE SUFFERING WAY. All men will hate you because of me, but HE WHO STANDS FIRM TO THE END will be saved... Matthew 10:22. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free... stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery... Galatians 5:1. PERSEVERE... Be diligent in these matters; give yourself totally to them, so that others may see your progress and loyalty to Christ. Watch your life and doctrine closely... persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your listeners. 1 Timothy 4:15-17. Run the race to win... Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. All who compete in games go into strict training ... we do it to get a crown that will last forever... 1 Corinthians 9: 24-25. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith... now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness... 2 Timothy 4:7-8. On a regular basis remind yourself of what God has done for you in the past. Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. So do not throw away your confidence; for you will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised… we are not of those who turn back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved... Hebrews 10: 32, 35-39. Hallelujah! All Praise, Glory and Honor be to God forever and ever amen!
