Copper Pointe Church Project 6:8

"Here am I! Send me.” This was Isaiah’s response to God’s question, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” How else could he respond? He had beheld the beauty and holiness of God and so recognized his own sinfulness, but God in His mercy cleansed him and forgave him. Still, God’s mercy didn’t stop there. God proceeded to invite Isaiah to “go” and tell others about His greatness. Isaiah couldn’t help himself, the invitation to be a part of God’s plan was irresistible. Project 6:8, based on Isaiah 6:8, is CPC’s new missions focus and direction. My prayer is that the entire CPC family will respond to this invitation to be a part of spreading God’s message among the Tarahumara people of Central Mexico and the Digo people of Southeastern Kenya just as Isaiah did to his invitation, irresistibly. One of the things that excites me about Project 6:8 is our new commitment to Focused Strategic Planning. We are determined to focus our resources on those needs that are in alignment with our values and commitments in order to increase the effectiveness of our missions involvement. Within our focus areas we will strive to mobilize as many of the assets of CPC as possible by providing broad sets of opportunities whereby a diverse array of our assets may be mobilized for the sake of the Gospel. In a nutshell, we will provide simple ways for anyone and everyone at CPC to take the next step in partnering with us toward world missions. As you think about Project 6:8 please consider your part. Whether you feel God tugging at your heart to GO, PRAY, or SEND may you echo the words of Isaiah, “Here am I! Send me.” Pastor Galen Woodward Copper Pointe Church
