Mission Ispossible

Mission Ispossible, Inc. mission is to provide financial assistance to Christian ministries and mission organizations to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We abide by the Biblical principles of supporting missionaries according to Philippians 4:16-18 that states, “For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.” Our charity provides supplemental monetary support to existing Christian Missionaries worldwide to assist them in fulfilling the great commission.

You need God’s people to support you.
You will not be able to reach your goals on your own. It takes a team to fulfill a dream!

A crowd can’t support you, but a small group can. They know when you’re sick, when you’re having a tough time, when you need a break. You can share your goals and your successes and failures, and they will rejoice with you and encourage you to keep going. You’re going to need that when you make the right kind of goals and pursue them wholeheartedly.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT says; “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”

BE A RADICAL SERVANT LEADER

Critical people carry a clipboard to grade others, but critical thinkers carry a towel to help others. If anyone had the right to grade others, it was the perfect, sinless Son of God, but Jesus never held a clipboard. He carried a towel. Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world; he came to save it. He was far more interested in helping others than in grading them.

So think positively. And be a critical thinker as well. Be known as a value-add, a problem solver. As you pursue the skill of thinking critically, keep that image in mind, the picture of Jesus on his knee, towel in hand, washing the filthy feet of his closest followers. The Creator of stars and galaxies gave us a picture of what we need most—to be served and washed clean in our heart of hearts. Jesus did for us what we needed most and deserved least. He could’ve graded us, pointing out where we had failed and missed the mark, but he didn’t. Instead, he introduced us to the radical concept of servant leadership by grabbing a towel and dropping the clipboard. Thinking critically is crucial to becoming a leader who leads when you’re not in charge. And as you learn to think critically, never forget that the towel is the way God leads us, and it is always more powerful than the clipboard.
Read John 13:1-17

In every dream journey, there comes a moment when you have to quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. You have to go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention.

You have to go big or go home.

You have to take the road less traveled or settle for status quo.

You have to bite the bullet or turn your back on your dreams.

If you find yourself in a pit with a lion on a snowy day, you’ve got a decision to make. A decision that will determine your destiny. You can run away from what you are afraid of, but you’ll be running the rest of your life. Or you can face your fears, taking a flying leap of faith, and chase the lion!

What is your “lion”? What are you going to do with it?

God is enough, and we are to know Him and make Him known.

Our hearts must be set on obedience to this wonderful will and plan of God. As we surrender to His will, we find the power of a new heart, which includes a new will, flowing into us, working in us to will and to do His good pleasure.

Your contribution is completely unique. Although others could replicate a task, no one can replicate your version, speed, accuracy, technique, and insight.

The remedy here is to recognize and acknowledge that you have amazing strengths, and that your unique use of them (as improved by skill, experience, and knowledge) could very well be a world-class performance.

[01/23/17]   This question should undergird all our prayers. For whose glory will the answer to this prayer be? Is my heart fixed on the glory of God - or on my own comfort? God’s purpose is that His own name be glorified. This is not because God is seeking to be the first in the queue! God knows that we humans are damaged by the intensity of the selfishness of sin. While our needs may be great, our greatest need is to be released from the cycle of selfishness. Our goal must be His glory - to proclaim His goodness, love, and power.

Do you know why so much bondage exists?

The enemy understands that the most dangerous human on the planet is not the one with riches, guns, armies, or fame. The most powerful human on the planet is a person set free by the blood of the Lamb. Why?

Because it was a free man who approached Pharaoh in Egypt and said, “Let my people go.” It was a free man who stepped into the Promised Land and declared “As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.” It was a free man who stared down a giant called Goliath and said, “You come against me with a sword, a spear and a javelin, but I come against you in the Name of the Lord God Almighty.”

Be willing to be train knowing that the testing is for the greater purpose.

Makesure our desire is only for Him and for His Glory.

[10/25/16]   The Great Missionary Hope

Even when we were dead in our trespasses, [God] made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:5)

The great missionary hope is that when the gospel is preached in the power of the Holy Spirit, God himself does what man cannot do — he creates the faith that saves. The call of God does what the call of man can’t. It raises the dead. It creates spiritual life. It is like the call of Jesus to Lazarus in the tomb, “Come forth!” (John 11:43).

We can waken someone from sleep with our call, but God’s call can summon into being things that are not (Romans 4:17). God’s call is irresistible in the sense that it can overcome all resistance. It is infallibly effective according to God’s purpose — so much so that Paul can say, “Those whom [God] called he also justified” (Romans 8:30).

In other words, God’s call is so effectual that it infallibly creates the faith through which a person is justified. All the called are justified. But none is justified without faith (Romans 5:1). So the call of God cannot fail in its intended effect. It irresistibly secures the faith that justifies.

This is what man cannot do. It is impossible. Only God can take out the heart of stone (Ezekiel 36:26). Only God can draw people to the Son (John 6:44, 65). Only God can open the heart so that it gives heed to the gospel (Acts 16:14). Only the Good Shepherd knows his sheep by name.

He calls them and they follow (John 10:3–4, 14). The sovereign grace of God, doing the humanly impossible, is the great missionary hope.
