GRAVES INTO GARDENS - ELEVATION WORSHIP LYRIC VIDEO

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR DORIS HENDERSON: WHAT COLOR IS YOUR WORLD?

The question about the color of your world should create two images. The first image is how you see, act and react to everything. This is determined by the foundation of your personal world. The second image is what others see and experience when they enter your world. What colors are visible in your world? Check with THE ONE ART EXPERT who would give you an absolutely honest appraisal. HIS response is: “You are exhibiting signs of dark stormy clouds of anger, bitterness, and discontent. There are thick murky waters overflowing with dull green slime created by brokenness. The landscape is dark and empty of life with only dry hard ground available. I also see lush green weeds as far as the eye can see, destroying hope, compassion, mercy, and life. The GOOD NEWS is your world can be restored to its original pristine beauty. I can give you the name THE RESTORER, with qualifications to do the work correctly. HE uses the COLOR PALETTE with HIS NAME on IT. HE will color your world JESUS.

THE JESUS COLOR PALETTE:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:3- 14 NKJV)

She was instantly healed, and in place of reproach for her touch that would have made a rabbi ceremonially unclean, she received the honor of being the only woman in Scripture whom Jesus named "Daughter." Changing Your Story Lyric Video by Jekalyn Carr

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DORIS HENDERSON: BELOVED

MY Beloved,
I see your struggles. You wear your struggles like glamorous fashion for all the world to see. They see your misery, anger, bitterness, and defeat. What they don’t see is the inside of your fashion. The pins and needles stabbing and cutting your spiritual being. The pain spiraling out of control with nothing to catch you. Until now you have been afraid to release the struggles. As miserable as the struggles are, you are not sure you can survive what would replace them. Beloved and I do mean beloved, you may not be sure about trusting ME. I walked the earth as a man to understand the struggles and pain you experience.

I see you sitting there with your head bowed down, feeling invisible. Your body shaken by internal pain, shedding tears, feeling so alone. A stranger comes to sit quietly next to you. The stranger says nothing, but eventually you no longer feel alone. You look up and notice the stranger has a kind face. The stranger reaches for your hand and begins praying. You start breathing again, not realizing you had been holding your breath, your body language relaxes, tears roll your face, and your spirit comes alive. You feel a wonderful sense of hope and joy wrapping around you. You look again and no longer see a stranger. You realize that I AM THE ONE is sitting beside you.

MY Beloved, you finally understand that I will go anywhere, anytime, do anything, or whatever it takes to be with you and will always love you. I gave MY LIFE’S BLOOD for your victory over All things. I will walk into Eternity with you. You are my Beloved from everlasting to everlasting.

1. Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep. (Psalm 127:1-2 NKJV)

2. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV)

3. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. (Colossians 3:12 NKJV)

4. But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 2:13 NKJV)

5. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (James 1:19 NKJV)

6. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:8-9 NKJV)

7. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 20-21 NKJV)

I pray this song shows you that you are important and fills you with hope:

[06/28/20]   I updated the video description from our morning service with a list of helpful resources for those who want to learn more about racial justice. I would also encourage people to join the Facebook group "Be the Bridge." They have a great curated list of educational resources organized by unit.

Passion Church Sunday Morning Service

Please join us as Pastor Janice Hersey speakes to us from the Bible on today's much needed conversation on racial reconcilation and our need to repent.

Quotes:
Dr. Esau McCaulley: "Systemic racism is the cumulative effect of corporate sin against people of another ethnicity" (FaceBook Live video)

Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes: "But racism is not about our feelings. Nor is it about the attitudes, intentions, or behavior of individuals. Racism is an interlocking system of oppression that is designed to promote and maintain White Supremacy, the notion that white people – including their bodies, aesthetics, beliefs, values, customs, and culture – are inherently superior to all other races and therefore should wield dominion over the rest of creation, including other people groups, the animal kingdom, and the earth itself." (from the book "I Bring the Voices of my People")

Dr. Eric Mason's proposal for a Gospel Justice Restoration and Reciprocity Cycle: 1. awareness, 2. acknowledgement, 3. accountability, 4. action. (from the book "Woke Church")

Helpful resources for those who want to continue learning:

Doxology [Hallelujah] Feat. Tasha Cobbs Leonard | David & Nicole Binion (Official Live Video)

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR DORIS HENDERSON:
THE POWER OF WORDS

WORDS!!! WORDS!!! WORDS!!! WORDS!!! WORDS!!! Words are everywhere. Words influence every area of our lives. They affect our emotions, our thoughts, our actions, our relationships, our health, as well as our faith. Words determine how we see the world and how we see ourselves. Written words, spoken words, and imagined words have power in our lives. Words can change the direction of our lives. We can choose how words impact our lives. We can let angry words, vicious demeaning words, threatening words, fearful words, “joking” words, hateful words, discouraging words, and manipulative words hold us captive in darkness; or we can choose encouraging words, loving words, joyful words, calming words, peaceful words, and KINGDOM words to shatter darkness and set us free, We must seek THE ONLY ONE who can affect change and create the healing and mind set necessary for real power in our lives.

Prayer Power
Heavenly Father,
I humbly come before YOU knowing YOU are The Sovereign GOD Who Spoke in the beginning. YOU separated Light and darkness before the world was formed. LORD, I come asking YOU to separate the darkness from my words as I speak and protect me from the darkness that I hear and see. Please fill with YOUR Words that will cause YOUR POWER to move in me and through me and allow me to be a light where ever I go. Please give me YOUR Words that will let others feel YOUR Presence when I speak and pray. I humbly lift up this prayer in The Name Above Every Name, JESUS CHRIST. Amen

1. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. (Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NKJV)

2. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:4 NKJV)

3. He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. (Proverbs 17:27 NKJV)

4. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV)

5. If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. (1Timothy 6:3-5 NKJV)

6. Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 1:13-14 NKJV)

7. These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. (Jude 1:15-16 NKJV)

God Of All My Days - Casting Crowns -Worship Video with lyriics

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR DORIS HENDERSON:
God in the Morning- God at Night- God Everyday.

Opening your eyes as you lay in bed trying to determine what your day looks like causes you to stop and think “never mind”. So often you feel like closing your eyes, turning over and forgetting about getting up. Sometimes that feeling is the result of little sleep or no sleep the night before. Sometimes you just don’t want to deal with unresolved issues, disappointment, or rejection. You just want it all to go away. You realize that isn’t really going to happen. Instead you decide to search your mind for a different way to move forward. A distant thought starts rising up. You find yourself hearing the words “turn to GOD”. You tend to turn to HIM when problems are all around you. Why not try starting your day with HIM. And here is another wild thought. Maybe you could try ending your day with GOD as your focus.

1. My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to [a]be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalm 121: 2-3 NKJV)

2. With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Isaiah 26:9 NKJV)

3. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. (Psalm 5:3 NKJV)

4. I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word. (Psalm 119:147 NKJV)

5. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. (Psalm 143:8 NKJV)

6. For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me. (Psalm 31:3 NKJV)

7. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. (Psalm 32:8 NKJV)

God’s Presence in Times of Trouble Some of the most precious verses in the Bible were penned when the writer was experiencing strife, grief, turmoil, or hear...

Our Story

With a church plant team consisting of seven adults and three children, Passion launched its first service on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at a home in northeast Albuquerque. Amazingly, sixty-eight people attended the first service and eleven people made decisions for Christ.

Later that evening, Pastor Brian and Mercy went to Presbyterian Hospital where Mercy gave birth to their second child, Colin. Their son was born deaf, but God miraculously healed him five weeks later—a sign to the Alarid’s that Passion would be a supernatural church.

Over the past 12 years, Passion Church has held services in theaters, schools, and community centers. On May 18, 2014, we moved into our new facility located at 5528 Eubank Blvd. NE.

Thousands of people have have dedicated their lives to Christ, marriages have been healed, families have been restored, the sick have been healed, people have grown in their spiritual gifts, new believers have been discipled, leaders have been developed and released into ministry, and the poor have been served both locally and internationally.

Join us on this journey of faith as we become an Acts 2 community. God has done great things, but the best is yet to come!
