A Service for Healing and Rembrance
Tonight at 6:00pm
One of the most important Deacons ministries at FPC is the hosting of receptions following funeral services. It’s in this space where family and friends can gather to share food, stories, grief, and hope. In these COVID days, when we cannot gather, grief is made even more complicated. We long for the day when we can open up our building, and our hospitality, in order to walk alongside one another through all the seasons of life. Until then, we need to be more creative.
You are invited to join us for a special service of Healing and Remembrance at 6:00pm on August 13th, you’ll find links to this service on our YouTube Channel and page. At this service we will name and honor loved ones lost during this time. We will lift up to God all the different kinds of grief we are experiencing, and we will remember the light we have in Jesus Christ which no darkness can overcome. Please join us for this service and plan to join afterwards for a special Zoom coffee hour where we can simply say hello and check in as a community in a virtual Fellowship Hall. The link will also be available soon.
