Please join us for Sunday Service at 10:00 am, July 11, 2021, with a message, "Jesus Mission Statement", by Rev. Gordon Keyler, music with Todd Lowry, the music team, and soloist, Marianne Costello.

Dear Unity Family,

Have you ever wondered, "Am I really in control of my life", or "Do I really have the capacity, equipment, power to create the life I truly want"? In Unity we believe that the answer is yes! And at the same time, we often feel like outer influences and circumstances are in control. We intellectually know the truth, but have a hard time implementing it.

Unity teaches that mind is the creative cause of all reality, experience and circumstance and that our life is the outworking of the ideas we hold. If that is true, and we are struggling with the outworking, then it follows that we must learn to use our power of thought to create the "Life Abundant" that we have been promised.

This Sunday we'll continue our deep dive into the "Law of Thinking" and how we can use the universal law of creation to rethink our reality. I have found this understand radically changes things, I hope you will too.

Before I sign off, I would like to give a big shout out to our Hospitality Team!! You all did such a wonderful job of making our first post-pandemic Outdoor Fellowship Hour fun! Thank you for being such a blessing to our community. And also special thanks to G2 Buffett for the Snow Cones! What a wonderful treat. Fellowship is every bit as important as the service, and the team would love to have more of you to help create this experience. Please see myself, Martyne or any team member to find out how you can join the fun!

In Loving Service,

Rev. Gordon

How May We Pray With You?

Silent Unity Remains in Prayer
We have equipped the majority of the Silent Unity® prayer associates to pray with callers and hold the 24/7 prayer vigil from their homes.
They will be available to take calls from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. (CT) at 816-969-2000. During the overnight hours, prayer requests can be sent via Facebook, the uPray app, or unity.org/prayer.
The Silent Unity Virtual Prayer Vigil is available at unityprayervigil.org. Use it whenever you need a moment of peace, and take the opportunity to pray with the rest of the world.
The traditional 11 a.m. (CT) prayer service in the Silent Unity Chapel has been moved to Facebook Live on the main Unity page. The monthly Silent Unity prayer services are available at unity.org/prayer. You may listen to audio or download a print version.

How May We Pray With You? Silent Unity is a 24/7 prayer ministry using affirmative prayer to provide others with faith, courage and strength.

THE FOOD DRIVE CONTINUES!

USC is coordinating the collection of Non-Perishable food for distribution by Ernie Pyle Family Center/The Ernie Pyle Middle School in the South Valley. We're collecting non-perishables, snack foods, and cases of bottled water --- really any food will help. This is for the regular distribution to those that are “food insecure” in our city through the Ernie Pyle facility and school. This distribution center has been experiencing more families in need than available boxes of food. A box will be in the Sanctuary on Sundays and the office starting Thursday.

Thank you and Blessings.

Coordinated by Bob Edgar and Dave Lepori

Please join us for Sunday Service at 10:00 am, July 1, 2021, in-person or on FaceBook Live with message, "Free to Be", by Rev. Gordon Keyler, music with Todd Lowry and soloist, Bills Brooks.

Dear Unity Family,

Happy Fourth of July! This year, Independence Day will
have a whole new meaning. While we of course
acknowledge and celebrate the origin of the day,
we also are blessed to be experiencing a new
freedom after a year of quarantining, social
distancing and the anxiety that went with the
pandemic. Certainly, I feel a new appreciation
for the Freedom we have.

At Unity Spiritual Center we will be celebrating
our Freedom during our service but even more
so afterwards! With New Mexico being able to
fully open, we will be gathering on the lawn
outside after the service as we resume outdoor
fellowship with Lunch on The Lawn. Of course,
we are in the middle of our remodel, so we do not
have a kitchen at this point. Nonetheless, Unity
will provide coffee, lemonade and water. You are
invited to bring a picnic lunch. Our hospitality
team will have the tables and chairs set up for
you.

Speaking of our Hospitality team, we are so very
blessed to have dedicated volunteers. Think
about this, even though we have not had
Fellowship for over a year, the team is ready to
“spring forth with a mighty zeal to do the things
that ought to be done…” to bring us together
again! (Apologies to Charles Fillmore). Sadly,
due to the pandemic we have lost a few members
of from all of our teams. I invite you, especially if
you want to make new friends and serve others to

consider joining one of our service teams. It is a
great way to make new friends and all our teams
are fun loving, friendly and joy filled. For more
information talk to me or our Sacred Service
Coordinator, Martyne, or Glenda in the Office.

If you are traveling this weekend, please be safe
and have a Happy Fourth of July! We will see you
next week. For those of you who are not,
remember we are fully open at last! See you on
Sunday.

Celebrating Freedom as never before,
Gordon
