[08/26/20] What a wonderful reminder of the love of God in our daily reading in 1st John 3:1 today. If you haven't already you should highlight the word love throughout the book of 1st John and my guess is you'll be amazed at how many times it is used. Such a great book.
[08/26/20] Rapid Fire reading challenge this week is the book of 1 John, Enjoy your time in the Word!
Due to recent circumstances, the church's annual birthday celebration on August 16th is being cancelled.
Instead, please join us at 9:30am at the church for coffee, donuts, and fellowship to celebrate, as well as after the service if you are unable to come early. We still want to fellowship and celebrate 9 years as a church!
[08/10/20] Rapid Fire reading for today: 1 Peter Chapter 1. Enjoy!!
“No man can comfort our souls in this pandemic the way God can. His comfort is unshakable. It is the comfort of a great, high Rock in the stormy sea. It comes from His word, the Bible.”
John Piper, Coronavirus and Christ
[08/03/20] Kicking off the Rapid Fire Bible reading this week with James chapter 1 today! If you haven’t read James before it is wonderful and challenging, definitely going to strengthen how you live out your faith. Enjoy!

The Nursery will resume having volunteers starting next Sunday, June 28th. Toys and surfaces have been cleaned and sanitized.
We are in need of nursery volunteers throughout the rest of summer as well. July 19th, 26th, and August 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and 30th. If you feel led to serve our church in this way parents of little ones greatly appreciate it. You can sign up for just one Sunday, or several Sundays, it is up to you how much time to commit. There is a sign up sheet at the church or you can comment on this post as well to be added to the schedule. Copies of the schedule will be at the church and can be emailed to volunteers as well. Thank you!
Call to help strengthen the community within Saving Grace Bible Church:
Pastor Mark is requesting each family put together a short video (3 minutes or less) to be played on Sunday mornings. This would involve introducing each person and sharing whatever information you feel would be good and appropriate to share with the rest of the congregation so we can get to know each other a bit better. As soon as you are able to get a video put together please send it to Pastor Mark at [email protected]. One video will plan to be featured each Sunday as we begin our services. Thank you in advance for your help with this. Can't wait to start seeing those videos!
Reading Proverbs chapter 11 today. What has been standing out to you in this book?
Proverbs 9:10 from last week “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” helps us know we can grow in wisdom by seeking after the Lord and growing in our relationship with Him. Enjoy the proverbs this week!
[06/09/20] Did anyone else catch the connection between our text last week in Joshua and our Proverb for day 7 today?
[06/05/20] So here we are day 5 in our Wisdom journey reading Proverbs. It amazes me just how personal this book is. Solomon writes like wisdom is my old friend, when most days I feel more like an acquaintance. I probably appreciated day 4 this week the most, having lost my father I can say I miss his patient and calm demeanor. I thought I knew so much more and yet every day I am reminded how little I know and how much God has to teach me to live a life that brings Him glory. I pray for an attentive heart, and a life well lived for me and for you. What has God been teaching you this week through Proverbs?
[06/01/20] Today marks the beginning of our journey through the Book of Proverbs challenge! Let us know how God's wisdom is affecting your life.
[05/26/20] Just a reminder that this coming Monday, June 1st, we will begin our second book of the Bible. 31 days of Proverbs, Monday through Friday one Proverb a day, with weekends off. Be sure to post how God is touching your life with these snip-its of wisdom. Plan now to join us!
[05/11/20] Finishing the Gospel of John today with chapter 21. If you got behind in the reading, it is not too late to pick it back up again and enjoy God’s Word!
[05/07/20] Good news: We are able to gather in person for worship this Sunday May 10th at 10am. We will be changing a few things up to ensure the health and safety of all in attendance. Nursery will not be available, and if you are ill we ask that you please stay home. Pastor Mark has sent everyone an email with more details of how this Sunday is planned to be handled to keep everyone safe. Hope to see you Sunday!
[05/04/20] We begin this week with Chapter 16 of John, don’t miss out on the great news God has to share with us!
[04/29/20] If you are joining us in the Wed. prayers at 7am or pm don't forget the saving grace kids and the youth. This is a difficult time for them as well.
[04/27/20] Hope you all have been enjoying the Gospel of John these past couple weeks, we are on chapter 11 today!
[04/24/20] Reading chapter 10 today in the Gospel of John. If you have gotten behind on your reading, no worries, you can use the weekend to catch up!
The gospel is not law, demanding that we pay our own way. The gospel is a welcome announcement, declaring that Jesus paid it all.
|Sunday||10:00 - 11:15|
