a community to grow in Christ. Sunday Morning Service - 11 a.m. Sunday School - 9:45 a.m. Sunday Evening Bible Study- 6 p.m.
Mission: What we believe... The Word of God - The Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired & without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, & that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith & conduct. The Trinity – There is one living & true God, eternally existing in 3 persons, that are equal, in divine perfection & that execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence & redemption. God the Father -, an Infinite, Personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power & love. He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of each person, He hears & answers prayer & He saves all who come to Him through Jesus Christ from sin & death God the Son - Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit. His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles & teachings. His substitution for us in His atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for his people,& personal visible return to earth. God the Holy Spirit - came forth from the Father & Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness & judgment & to regenerate, sanctify & empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, & Guide. Regeneration - All people are sinners by nature& by choice & are, therefore under condemnation. Those who repent of their sins & trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. The Church - The universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head& all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work & fellowship. God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary tasking of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. Christian Conduct - Christians should live for the glory of God & the well-being of others; that their conduct should be blameless before the world; they should be faithful stewards of their possessions; & that they should seek to realize for themselves & others the full stature of maturity in Christ The Ordinances - The Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism & the Lord’s Supper. Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water into the Name of the Triune God. The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe these ordinances should be observed & administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Last Things - The personal & visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth & the establishment of His kingdom, the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting life in heaven, of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment in hell.
Operating as usual
This is Pastor Keith.
Some of you may know, Lynda and I have contracted Covid 19. So far, we are doing well. I have had a fever but am doing well now. I will be quarantining at home for the next 10 days. I may stop into the church if I need to get something, but will be unable to see anyone.
All other meetings and events are cancelled, including the ABW meeting tonight, and the dinner on Sunday afternoon.
I’ve been in touch with the deacons and our plan at this point is to have church on Sunday. Carlyle will be preaching.
Please be in prayer for us, as well as others in our church family affected by Covid.
This is Pastor Keith. There has been an increase in number of Covid 19 cases in the area lately, so as a response, I am asking that everyone please wear masks in church tomorrow. We will also try to be more mindful of our 6 feet social distancing guidelines.
I would also like to remind you, if you are not feeling well, or are concerned about being vulnerable to Covid 19, tomorrow we will be live-streaming the message, to begin at approximately 11:20-11:30 am on our page, and it will then be posted to our website and YouTube.
Thanks and God Bless,
We counted 400 + kids today at the Halloween costume parade. The plastic tub had 1600 pieces of Candy before it began and now it’s almost empty.
