Last week we talked about how other people, especially those that are close to us, can stress us out and how to deal with it. Tonight we are wrapping up our series on stress by talking about something that we all deal with in some way... measuring up. We stress ourselves out daily by comparing our lives or ourselves with other people. We ask ourselves, "Why can't I be like them," or "Why can't I look like them." It's one of the biggest forms of stress that we deal with. Join us tonight for our final week in our STRESSED! Series called, "Measuring Up."
Hope you all had the most bestest, awesomest, Thanksgiving ever! This week we will be continuing with our series STRESSED. Last time we talked about different ways we can deal with stress, and we also found out that one of the biggest stressors we deal with is ourselves! Tonight we'll dig into another huge stressor in our lives... OTHER PEOPLE! Join us for week 3 in our STRESSED series, "People=Stress."
So we learned last week that stress in our lives is inevitable, and that stress is God's sophisticated design to help us in tough situations. We also learned that stress doesn't go away, like it should and it causes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual damage. Join us tonight for Part 2 of STRESSED! The Series called, "Reducing Your Stress." Hope to see you there!!!
How many of you would say that stress is a major part of your life? I think we can all agree it plays a major role in a lot of who we are and what we do. Sometimes it's really hard to deal with, but the good news is there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Tonight we are kicking off a four week series called, STRESSED! Part 1 is called, "Meet the Stressbuster!!" Hope to see you all tonight!
Finally wrapped up the Hunger and Thirst Games tonight!!! Had a great time with our last competition called Pumpkin Picasso... It was... messy, but fun! Great Job to all the teams! I will be posting some more pics soon!
