All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Timothy 3:16
Welcome to our Facebook! We began with a summer Bible study in May of 2003 as an outreach to the city of Adelanto and out of that study we founded our fellowship which began church services in October of 2003. As Adelanto grows so does the need to share the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ to those that are searching for a home to worship and learn of God's Word. Here at Calvary Chapel Adelanto we do an In-depth study of God's Word by studying systematically verse by verse through the Scriptures.The Apostle Paul wrote to his young son in the faith and said in 2Timothy 2:15: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth". We are excited about what God is doing in these desperate times as people are searching for answers to the difficulties of life. We also recognize the need for growth and maturity in the body of Christ. One of my favorite scriptures is Ephesians 4:11-16. Paul the Apostle says that we are to: "equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ". So here at C.C.A. it is our desire to help you use the gifts that God has given you to build up the body of Christ. Colossians 3:16 says: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord". May the Lord Jesus Christ richly Bless you! God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
