Jamaica Mission Prayer Sign-up

As our Jamaica Mission team continues to prepare to leave in less than two weeks we are hoping that you would consider signing up for an hour of prayer for our team. We know how important it is to be covered in prayer during this week. You can go on the link to sign up for an hour. Our hope is to have all of our awake hours covered including our travel days. Know that while you are praying for our team, we will be praying for you back at home.

Consider putting together a team to support our Jamaica missionaries. Fundraising has been a challenge these last months so we needed to get creative. Please pray for those who are committed to serving January 2-9, 2021.

The Steubenville Conferences have been canceled for this summer. We will be in contact with those who were registered.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel Steubenville St. Paul and Steubenville Rochester for this coming summer.

Although we are sad to not see the conferences happen this summer, our trust is in the Lord and we know that His plans are far greater than ours.

Happy Feast of St. Joseph! Please pray a rosary at 3pm today.

Today, March 19 is the Feast of St. Joseph, a powerful intercessor as well as the patron and protector of the Universal Church. Pope Francis has asked Catholics to unite spiritually to pray the luminous mysteries of the rosary at 9pm Rome time. Here in Minnesota, that's 3pm Central.

In times of crisis and uncertainty, God is calling us to turn to Him, and to trust in Him. Let us do so together with confidence!

Pope Francis's remarks >>

If you can't pray at 3pm, then pray when you can.

Today is the Feast Day of St. John Bosco the patron saint of youth!

O Glorious Saint John Bosco, who in order to lead young people to the feet of the Divine Master and to mould them in the light of faith and Christian morality did heroically sacrifice yourself to the very end of your life and set up a proper religious Institute destined to endure and to bring to the farthest boundaries of the earth your glorious work, obtain also for us from Our Lord a holy love for young people who are exposed to so many seductions in order that we may generously spend ourselves in supporting them against the snares of the devil, in keeping them safe from the dangers of the world, and in guiding them, pure and holy, in the path that leads to God. Amen.

Why Mass? - for Catholic Youth Yes, we prayed to God and talked about love. Yes, we made the effort to be in a house (well, field) of worship. Yes, there was even bread to symbolize the Last Supper. But, I knew, in my heart of hearts that this wasn’t what I was entirely created for.

[06/20/19]   Please join us Friday, June 21st for the travelers Mass with the Jamaica mission team here at St. Joseph's at 9:30pm.

Here is an updated list for praying for our Jamaica mission team. Thank you so much for the response so far! We have a few open spots if you would consider making a commitment to pray for us.

The past few years we have been blessed to have people praying for our mission team during our awake hours while serving in Jamaica. This has been such a beautiful gift! We have time slots yet to be filled. Please consider committing to one hour of prayer for us between the hours of 7am to 10pm, which includes our travel days. This does not mean that you will pray every minute of that hour, but to take some time during that hour to maybe pray a rosary, or spend time in adoration, or offer up your work that you are doing for the mission team. You can look through the open spots and comment below with a time you can make work. Just know we bring the list with us and pray for all of you back home.
