Our message today: "Don’t let closed doors stop you" - Part 1
Are you frustrated over what's not working out? Seems like it's never going to happen? Don’t worry, doors may have been closed for you for a long time, but be patient, that closed door is not permanent.
Today I want to let you know that closed doors in our lives are never permanent. We've all have had times when something didn't work out: the relationship didn't make it, that business didn’t work out, we didn't get the promotion, the loan didn't go through. We have done our best: we prayed, we believed, but the door didn't open.
In the bible John chapter 20, we learn that Jesus had just been crucified and risen from the dead, one evening his disciples were in a room together, they had locked the door to make sure no one could get in. They saw how people had treated Jesus, how against him they were, now they were afraid that these same leaders would come and arrest them. So the disciples did everything they could to keep people out. But while they were meeting, the Scripture says, "Jesus appeared unto them"(John 20:19). Can you imagine that Jesus entered a room that was locked! He didn't open it, he didn't unlock it, he didn't try to beat it down, he simply came through it. God was showing us: closed doors don't stop him; locked doors cannot keep you from what God has for you.
Now people may have closed the door, tried to keep you from something you wanted; a marriage, a promotion, a job, a business, that house or land. How you were raised may have shut the door, you feel like you're at a disadvantage. Forces of darkness may have locked the door, tried to keep you from your healing, your freedom. It's been that way a long time, seems like the door is not only closed, but it's locked, dead-bolted. The good news is: God doesn't have to open the door, he can come through it, he's not limited by what's limiting us. We're natural, he's supernatural. You need to get your fire back: don’t let closed doors to stop you; locked doors can't keep you from your destiny. God is not restricted by what's holding you back. He doesn't need permission; he controls the universe.
The medical report may say that you're never going to get well, that door looks like it's permanently closed: get ready, God's about to come through the door. It's going to be unusual, uncommon, supernatural healing. Or it may look like the door is closed on your dream, you'll never get into college, never meet the right person, never have that baby. Every circumstance says "It's too late. That door is locked, it's never going to open". Just smile and say, "It doesn't have to open. Father, thank you that you're going to come through the door. Thank you, that you're going to make a way where I don't see a way. Thank you, that closed doors can't stop what you have for me". Amen.
Today's message: "Living daily in the power of the resurrection"
This Sunday we celebrate Easter, the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ that happened over two thousand years ago (Mat 20:17-19). This resurrection is the most important single event throughout human history!
I'm trusting God by the power of the Holy Spirit he will touch you right where you are. The scriptures say “the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you (Romans 8:11). Jesus overcame sin and death so that we might experience the power of the resurrection and live daily in this power to overcome the world. The good news is - this power is available to all of us today, the "same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead" (Ephesians 1:19–20).
The bible says the Lord is patient toward us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Jesus paid the price on the cross for all our sins — “while we were yet sinners Christ died for us,” (Rom 5:8). He did it simply because He loves us and wants to have a relationship with us.
You may have made mistakes and done things that you're not proud of, and you may feel as though you're under a verdict of guilt, but we have good news today. No matter where you are in life, what problems you may struggle with, no matter what you have done in the past, or what someone else has done to you, Jesus is able to wipe the slate clean. You can experience that same power of the resurrection—the power to be forgiven and rest daily in His resurrection power. Jesus is alive, and He wants to live in and through you today. That is what Easter is all about.
Lord God, You loved this world so much, that you gave your one and only Son, that we might be called your children too. Lord, help us to live in the gladness and grace of Easter Sunday, everyday. Let us have hearts of thankfulness for your sacrifice. Let us have eyes that look upon Your grace and rejoice in our salvation. Help us to walk in that mighty grace and tell your good news to the world. All for your glory do we pray, Lord, Amen.
[10/04/19] No life is too complicated for God to put back in order and no sin is too big for him to forgive. If we confess our sins,He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteous..1John 1:9.Christ has already catered for the sin problem through his death on the cross so that we should no longer live under the bondage of sin but under the guidance of the Holyspirit.
Elder's Service 25th August 2019
Church Elders challenged the youths as their service was more interesting than the usually Sunday services. We we're so blessed as our church elders did everything by themselves without the youths and they really challenged us seriously coz it was such a blessed Sunday service to everyone. May God bless you our elders.

No person or ministry would ever succeed because of great education, financial success, or
connections made by man. These things will not entice the anointing of God to fall upon you, because the Holy Spirit will cause the anointingto fall as He wills, never as man
wills. The Holy Spirit never takes directions from man.

Read: 1 Kings 19:19–21 Bible in a Year: Leviticus 17–18; Matthew 27:27–50 Then set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.—1 Kings 19:21 As a child, I looked forward to our church’s Sunday evening services. They were exciting. Sunday night often meant we got to hear from missionaries and other guest speakers. Their messages inspired me because of their willingness to leave family and friends—and at times, homes, possessions, and careers—to go off to strange, unfamiliar, and sometimes dangerous places to serve God.
